1 WHAT YOU DON T KNOW CAN KILL YOU Born again and salvation are two separate and distinct experiences. One makes you a son of God and the other abolishes death, including sickness and disease, and restores immortality. Does your church teach this? What you don t know can kill you. BORN AGAI N: This experience involves a supernatural spiritual metamorphose. 1. Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 2. John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he pow er (super natural ability) to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. 3. John 3: 3, 5 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, (Born again) he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Jesus was telling this to Nicodemus three years before the cross. 4. Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed (sons of God) to the image of his Son (Jesus), that Jesus might be the first born among many (born again) brethren. SALV AT I ON: This experience involves receiving a gift. 1. Romans 10:9, 10 That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Saved and salvation in the original Greek are sozo and soteria and mean your physical life is made whole, without sickness and disease. Christianity has used Noah Webster, a 19 th century lexicographer, definition, saved from hell and salvation for heaven, instead of what God s word says. 1

2 Saved and salvation have nothing to do w ith life after death. If you believe being saved and receiving salvation keeps you from going to hell and going to heaven after you die, then you have no knowledge for the real meaning of saved and salvation. What you don t know can kill you. Why is it so complicated to believe that God is a good and loving God, and cannot act apart from love? Why is so difficult to understand that He created the Garden of Eden as a place, like heaven on earth, where sin and death would not exist? Like good parents, God wants His children to have life and have it more abundantly. Sickness, disease, accidents and death weren t His plan or intentions. God didn t create a robot to be under His control. He created a man, with a free will, in His image and likeness and to have dominion over the earth. Although Adam s spirit was in God s image and likeness, his flesh was human and had a free will to make personal decisions. And, as flesh is today, I t seeks comfort and has ego. After Adam s disobedience the destructive force of judging was birthed. J udging is the beginning source of every problem. I am right and you are w rong can cause a w ar. God told Adam that there was another attractive, human like creature, called Satan, and he was also on earth to entice him to be like God if only he would swallow a lie about knowledge of good and evil and the resulting Judging. Adam knew his flesh was not like God. Satan s temptations always appeal to the flesh and Adam desired his flesh to have Godly characteristics. God had told him his flesh would die if he acquired knowledge of good and evil. It is my guess that Adam forgot what God had said because he couldn t see Him and remembered what Satan was saying because he could see him. This is just my speculation but really does not matter why Adam disobeyed his Father. Maybe this is where, A picture is w orth a thousand w ords was kicked off. Adam disobeyed, and as God had guaranteed, Adam died physically. Adam and all succeeding generation have reaped what Satan sowed into Adam, T he thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. John 10:10a 2

3 Forty centuries after Adam introduced death that removed the Garden of Eden, Jesus appeared on the scene, as the last Adam, with a transferable modus operandi for the flesh of man to be born again as a son of God, like Jesus. This made it possible for God to have innumerable sons like Jesus and fulfill what God sowed into Jesus, I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10b Ungodly temptations from Satan God provides a Godly solution. Satan sow ed death into Adam. God sow ed e verlasting life into J esus. There is an American idiom, What you don t know w on t hurt you. That has a catchy sound but the fact is, What you don t know can kill you. If you don t know God sowed everlasting life into Jesus you will experience sickness, disease and death. If your religious background has told you a different story about Adam than the one above and are wondering how to determine what is right; there is a simple test. The majority of Christians believe that when Adam sinned it separated God from all mankind and by accepting Jesus for forgiveness of your sins it will restore your personal relationship with God and He won t sanction an everlasting torture in hell. Jesus abolished death, on the cross; consequently sickness and disease are not natural to life. Jesus resurrection restored immortality. II Timothy 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death, and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. It is a fact that sickness and disease are rampant on earth. Does this human fact make the word of God of none-affect? Yes for you, I f w hat you don t know continues. Jesus said, T he traditions of men make the w ord of God of none-a ffect. Mark 7:13 3

4 Not separating born again and salvation as two separate experiences can lead to believing and speaking sickness or disease and your mouth will override the word of God. Sickness and disease do not exist in the kingdom of God where sons of God live. This is an invisible spiritual dimension here on earth where God dwells. Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. How many of your friends have committed suicide with their mouths? This answers your question, What I don t know can kill me. I am going beyond this to the ultimate of facts; there is an area of knowledge that has very high potential for influencing life and that is: What you don t know, that you don t know. Smart businessmen investigate everything they know before investing in a deal. It is always what they didn t know they didn t know that turns a deal bad. For an example, I have a close friend who thought he knew almost everything. He went to a seminar and learned things; he didn t know he didn t know. His first week back in business after the seminar he applied something he learned that he didn t know he didn t know and his income increased 8 times. Education provides know ledge But w isdom gives k now ledge about w hat you don t know that you don t know. My friend spent $400 for the seminar and that initiated a teachable spirit to grab on to something, H e didn t know he didn t know. Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of know ledge; because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shall be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all your getting, get understanding. 4

5 I Corinthians 1:30 But of him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us w isdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. Again your religious background probably taught that Christ comes into you when you accepted his forgiveness for your sins. If you have a brother you have heard, Y ou and your brother are sure alike. Accepting the gift of salvation did not impart Christ in you. If this were true, all Christians would be Christ like and operate w ith the mind of Christ. Jesus had a consistent message, Y ou must be born again to enter the kingdom of God. Born again makes you a son of God and a brother of Jesus. Now you are in Christ and Christ is in you, Y ou and your brother are sure alike. I Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. What you don t know, is, you remain a natural man until you become a son of God and then you acquire the mind of Christ along with w isdom to understand things of God, What you don t know that you don t know. What you don t know, Jesus never and again I say never asked anyone to accept him for forgiveness of sins. What you don t know, Jesus commanded his disciples to go into the entire world and teach the kingdom of God and then the things he prophesied w ill happen. He didn t say, Go into the entire w orld and make Christians. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations and then things prophesied shall happen. Math. 24:14 What you don t know, prevents the things he prophesied from happening. Jesus said, I have come to give you an everlasting life free from sickness, disease, accidents and death. John 10:10b What you don t know, will keep you living in the kingdom of the world where the thief has come to kill, steal and destroy. John 10:10a 5

6 Conc luding: God is love and cannot act apart from love. He created the first man Adam and later gave him a wife, Eve. God intended for them to replenish the earth and live forever in heaven on earth. Adam failed and God waited 4000 years before He sent His Son, Jesus, as the last Adam to earth. Jesus appeared on earth and had a transferable modus operandi to enable God to have innumerable human sons like Jesus and restore heaven on earth. Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Being born again as a son of God counts you in a mong many brethren. Adam s spirit was in God s image and likeness and his flesh was human with human characteristics and a human nature. His flesh was weak and Satan appealed to his weak flesh and defeated Adam. Jesus came to earth as a human and both his spirit and flesh had Godly characteristics and a Godly nature and Satan could not defeat him. Jesus came also with a transferable modus operandi to enable a human whose spirit was a son of God to be born again with the same incorruptible seed that birthed Jesus and become a human son of God and with the ability to defeat Satan. Jesus was manifested to destroy the works of the devil. I John 3:8b I Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever. Lives and abides forever is a term for no killing IMMORTALITY. What you know can impart life w ithout sickness and disease. The most powerful weapon on earth is the love of God that does not act apart from love. Christianity has done an excellent job in concealing this.
