Postal Address: P O Box 19582, Tecoma, East London, Fax: Web: Aug/Sept 2016 News Letter Self Leadership This is Dumasani sharing the Good News of the Gospel at an assembly meeting in one of the schools he is currently involved in with the Self Leadership program (Notice the Bible). Dumza, our pet name for Dumasani, is looking for two young people who can speak Xhosa, to assist him in expanding this ministry to more schools in our townships. Please make this known to young people willing to give a year of their lives or more to this great opportunity to impact the lives of learners in our schools. We will cover basic costs. The picture on the right was taken as Dumza s was equipping Leaders for ministry. Some developments: 1. Lumko school moved from old buildings in Gompo Township to a new beautiful Structure in Rosedale, Amalinda area beginning of April. Dumza has Assembly on Mondays and then meets with the grade 12 Students on Monday afternoons. 2. Ulwazi High School has adopted Dumza as their pastor. They call him at any time when there is a crises or a challenge. He does Morning Assemblies on any day during the week because they have assembly every day. He meets with their grade 12 s for Self Leadership Training. 3. The self leadership program is presently being presented in four high schools. 4. There are other schools wanting us to bring the Self Leadership program to them so we would welcome applicants to assist in this area. Call Dumza ( ) or Roy ( ). 5. Check this video out:

Mark Raphael joins the team in our schools ministry Mark Raphael, on the left, has joined our team and started his involvement in St John s School in Arcadia this month (August).

When he approached the school, a school he was previously involved in, they welcomed him with open arms because of the track record of his ministry there in the past.

Desrae Naude: Leadership Camp YFC is offering to train your Youth Leaders on how to set up and run a Youth Group successfully.

Closing date for applications is 25 September 2016.

2 Mark Raphael joins the team in our schools ministry Mark Raphael, on the left, has joined our team and started his involvement in St John s School in Arcadia this month (August). Mark is not new to YFC but was on the staff several years ago. When he approached the school, a school he was previously involved in, they welcomed him with open arms because of the track record of his ministry there in the past. We re looking forward to some positive reports on the impact Mark makes in this school. Welcome Mark! Desrae Naude: Leadership Camp YFC is offering to train your Youth Leaders on how to set up and run a Youth Group successfully. Leaders from churches in and around East London are invited to participate. Applications are limited to 57 leaders so get those applications in ASAP. Closing date for applications is 25 September This course has been designed to assist the church to understand and implement a long term goal to achieve what will successfully impact their community and change the lives of our future leaders. Desrae Naude, our accountant who is now living in PE, has had the privilege of ministering to 42 children in Kleinpoort School, a primary school on route to Graaf Reneit from PE, who are so open to God s Word. She has presented the Gospel to the grade 5 and grade 7 classes and reports how awesome it was teach children who were so hungry and eager to learn. Desrae also had the privilege to minister at Willow Academy Christian School in PE. Almost every day Desrae comes home with her heart broken. There are so many broken families. We firmly believe that God has placed Desrae there to pray for the families. Pray with us that God would raise up leaders to revive the work of YFC in Port Elizabeth. Thanks Desrae for flying the flag for Jesus!

Martin Gray from Australia, a man with a heart for the lost, an evangelist who has impacted Kids for Christ, has donated his books to help us raise funds for YFC, East London.

What an amazing impact their ministry had on the kids attending YFC club. Thank you Jesus! The photos to the left and right were taken at a formal dinner party programme for the club. Such fun was had by all and Jesus was proclaimed to all present. It was an awesome time! Easter Camp 2017 Our forward planning for next year s Easter Camp has started. Please pray for the team who will be responsible for this amazing annual event. Please also spread word to Youth Pastors and Leaders who would like to be a part of this team. Our goal is to unite the body of Christ to participate together in advancing the Kingdom of God. They can call me on to arrange meeting with the team.
