We pray for those in prison, that they may hear the good news of the gospel and work towards a better life. O God, help us in times of change to rejoice in what has gone Before, but never to live in the past. For Mrs Maxine, Mr Nana Ansah and family and all their friends Father God, make us quick to listen, but slow to speak and slow to become angry. We pray for women and children who face only violence and abuse rather than love and sanctuary in the family home. For all who work to protect the Pacific islands from the effects of climate change. We pray for church communities facing challenging decisions about the way forward. O Lord, give us a willing heart and a ready hand to use all your gifts to your praise and glory.
