2 Our Lady of the Roses Shrine Our Lady in the Sky Our Lady of the Roses - A Mission of Love Background Story on Our Lady of the Roses These are message excerpts on this topic culled from the complete Word Messages from Heaven to the world given through Veronica Lueken, called Veronica of the Cross during the Shrine Rosary Vigils from 1970 to 1994 in Bayside and Flushing Meadows, New York. Veronica was a chosen soul used as an instrument for Heaven to transmit the messages from Heaven to the world. Our Lady called Veronica Their voice-box. The Blessed Virgin Mary under the title of Our Lady of the Roses appeared to Veronica Lueken and requested Rosary Vigils beginning June 18, 1970 at her parish Church of St. Robert Bellarmine. Veronica received the messages during the Vigils outside of the Roman Catholic Church of St. Robert Bellarmine old church, her parish in Bayside Hills, Queens, NY, and Heaven s chosen site of the Sacred Grounds for Our Lady of the Roses Mary Help of Mothers Shrine. In 1975, the Vigils relocated to the site of the Vatican Pavilion old World s Fair grounds in Flushing Meadows Park, Flushing Queens, NY, where the Vigils continue today. The Vigils continue today after Veronica s death in Veronica would see Our Lady and Jesus and was a transmitter of the messages for the world. The Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, under Her requested title, Our Lady of the Roses, Mary Help of Mothers and St. Theresa began visiting Veronica in her home beginning in Veronica was praying for Robert Kennedy when he was shot in June 1968 and she began smelling roses. (See the Shrine booklet Occulations from Heaven in Poetical theme.) Our Lady and Theresa prepared Veronica for two years beginning April 1968 and said She would appear beginning June 18, 1970 at her parish Church, the old St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Bayside, New York and to have the clergy come and conduct Rosary Vigils for three hours on the eve of the feast days. Veronica went to her pastor at the rectory to tell them of Our Lady s requests. However, Veronica began and held the vigils alone with the pilgrims and prayed the Rosary. More people came, there were many miracles of cures and conversions and abundant graces showered upon the people over these decades. Veronica would go into ecstasy at the Vigil and begin describing what she saw as Our Lady and Our Lord and many other personages who came down from Heaven from the east while the rosary was being said by the people. Veronica would describe them as she saw them and then They would say to her to listen and repeat while placing one finger to their lips. Veronica would then be used as a voice-box and Our Lord and Our Lady would speak through her. Veronica s voice and manner would change. It was not Veronica speaking, but now Our Lord and the persons of Heaven speaking through Veronica. Veronica was recorded on audiotape by her helpers and the rosary was continually prayed out loud by the pilgrims. 3 Background Story on Veronica Veronica Lueken was a married woman, a mother of five children, a grandmother and went to her eternal rest on August 3, 1995 at the age of 72. Up until June of 1968, she lived the life of an ordinary Bayside, Queens New York housewife, with her husband Arthur, a construction engineer and their daughter and four sons. On June 5 th 1968, the day that Senator Robert F. Kennedy was shot in California, Veronica experienced a perfume of roses when she responded to a radio appeal for prayers for the dying New York Senator, (of the famous American political Roman Catholic family from Massachussetts and brother of Robert F. Kennedy) during a news broadcast over the car radio while she was driving her husband to work in Flushing, New York. Veronica knew the next morning that he had died. St. Therese dictated a beautiful poem message with one line that says: and Robert kissed Mary and Moses. [See Occulations from Heaven.] A short time later, St. Theresa the Little Flower (who has always been identified with a shower of roses, since her most famous promise, often quoted, was After my death, I will let fall a shower of roses from heaven ) appeared to Veronica in her home. This vision was shared by Veronica s son, Raymond, who was 10 years old at the time. Raymond himself was shot to death in a tragic accident January 29, 1974, at the age of 15. His death was a shock and sorrow to his mother, who regarded him as the closest to her, of her children. After the vision of St. Theresa, other visions began to be manifested in Veronica s life. One of the earliest ones was a vision outdoors in New York, in the sky, of a huge cross, which dissolved itself into the thorn-crowned head of Christ, so close in proximity to her that she could see the stubble of His beard, where it grew, out of His chin. The vision took place while she was walking with her shopping cart, down Springfield Boulevard. Her early visions seemed to be sort of a preparation for the coming of Our Lady, who announced to her in 1970 that She wanted Rosary Vigils held, outdoors, on the eves of all the great feast days of the Catholic Church, on the grounds of the old St. Robert Bellarmine s Church in the district of Bayside Hills, a division of Queens, which constitutes an area of Metropolitan New York City. Our Lady announced that She wanted a Shrine established there, and that She was to be invoked under the title of Our Lady of the Roses, Mary Help of Mothers. She promised if these vigils would be faithfully kept, despite weather conditions and disturbances, She would appear to Veronica at each of the vigils, and give heavenly messages of worldwide importance. The purpose of the vigils would be to pray for Pope Paul VI and the clergy of the world, and She asked that during the vigils, the Holy Rosary be said continuously, aloud, by all the pilgrims. The vigils have been held since June 18, 1970, and several hundred messages have been transmitted, with Veronica acting as a voice box repeating the words from heaven. The content of the messages is enlightening. Our Lady has revealed the general state of evil in the world, the state of corruption within the Catholic Church, the evil within the Vatican itself, the sufferings of Pope Paul, and the necessity of worldwide atonement to the Eternal Father to avoid chastisements, which, if not mitigated by universal penance and return to God and His Divine laws, will be terrible beyond comprehension. Won't you join Us in this final battle? This is the Armageddon! Do not expect this message to be received well, for hearts are hardened and eyes are blinded - all in the plans of the man of sin. My Son has asked, When I return, will I find any faith left? Wear your cross, My children. I cannot caution you enough to wear your Rosary about your neck, for none will be free from his entrance. He claims the unclean souls. He seeks the souls destined for My Son's Kingdom. He seeks to destroy, this evil man from hell. Listen to Me, My children: he is walking your earth now! He has the powers of satan. He can use the body of a man or a woman or a child. Watch! Beware! Ask the Holy Spirit to allow your eyes to see. Keep a constant vigil of prayer. Many will fall into the abyss. We weep for the souls that will be lost. The Reign of The Anti-Christ He will proceed on into Egypt and Israel and bring Russia from the north. Wake up to the truth! His reign will be longer than man expects. The interpretation of man has erred. The time and one time and a half is in Heaven's time; the earthly time is very much longer. Do not be frightened, My child, by the sights sent to you, for these are for your own protection. Protect the Children with Sacramentals Mothers, I must warn you. Be sure that your children are well guarded; for this man of perdition, when he cannot reach you, will try to hurt you through your children. Guard them carefully. Be sure that they have the cross about their necks. Do not let these innocent souls be fooled by the ways of satan. Do not let them bring into your homes this evil broken cross, or it will doom your household. It is the mark of the man of perdition. Vigil Message to Veronica November 20, 1972 Eve of Christ the King Veronica: Our Lady is pointing to a map. I see Egypt, and Africa, and in the center, Israel. Our Lady: There will be a great War, and at the time of this crisis will return the Lord of lords and the King of kings. Prepare yourself now, for the time for your earth grows short. A great change will soon take place. It will be the end of your era as you know it. Prepare your souls now. You have all been warned. Vigil Message to Veronica February 10, Eve of Our Lady of Lourdes Veronica: Oh, Our Lady's showing me a large globe. I can see the United States and Canada. And I can see South America. And also now Our Lady's pointing over to the left side of this globe, and there's Asia, Egypt, Africa. And then.... Oh, there is a terrible war. Many, many people are dying. Many, many people will die, Our Lady said, many souls unprepared to come to the Kingdom. Now Our Lady is pointing over - over on the right side there's a large globe. Now out in the sky I see... it's a ball. It looks like the sun. But no, it's twirling - it's swinging very fast across the sky, and it has streamers of fire coming out from behind it. And it's twirling so fast. Oh, and the heat - it's very intense. Now one of the tails has hit - oh! Oh! I see... I, I see cities now. There's great fire. And all the lights - there's no electricity - all the lights have gone out. And people are running and trying to find candles. But the air has become stagnant, and there seems to be no oxygen. 5 Message to Veronica February 11, 1971 Vigil on the Eve of Our Lady of Lourdes Our Lady: My heart is saddened, My children, that We are forced to send this trial upon you. Wake up! Time grows so short. Will only a few be gathered in this short time? My heart is saddened also at the reception of My words by the clergy, but it is not less than We have expected, for hearts have grown hardened. From now until the plan is fulfilled, I must stress that you keep resigned to a life of prayer and sacrifice, for that is all that will save you. THE MEANING OF 666 REVEALED We still hope to gather Our stray children; and therefore, We reveal to you now the secret of the ages, the true meaning of Mr. 666, known as the Antichrist:6 is for the six who are coming; 6 is for the six days of suffering; 6 is for the six who will be punished. Man is wise, but through the ages the true meaning becomes lost. This, My child, We give to you. Watch, wait, and pray. He is still in your land! Safeguard your homes and your family, as I have told you countless times before. The danger will increase to the souls. Repeat to all this prayer: Jesus, extend to us in the light, in Your infinite knowledge, the power, through the light, to understand the task that lies ahead for all of us who wish to be saved. Unless you all remain in the state of grace, you will not walk through these days of sorrow without being affected by the evil one. All power of salvation will be given to those who believe. This man of perdition - this man out of hell - will spread his darkness through holy Church. Hold the truth always in your heart. Our arms send forth a shower of blessings upon you all at this moment of a great joy to My heart: the reception of the medal of Our Lady of the Roses. I thank you, My children. Many blessings will be yours. Wear this, My children, for there are many surprises in store for you that We give with glad hearts in these dark days. You see, My children, We will show this man of perdition where the true power of God lies. For eventually, My children, I will crush him through the power of the Eternal Father. Remember January 21, This was the day, My children, when this man of perdition came to your city [New York] and entered your holy Church [Roman Catholic Church]. Now he moves about and will spread destruction throughout your land before he proceeds on to Egypt. Remember this date, My children, for it was a sad day for mankind. For what could be sadder than the entrance of the Antichrist into your land! The attacks upon you, My child, will not cease, so keep your armor, the protection We have sent you. Vigil Message to Veronica, May 30, 1973 Vision of a Map, War Planned, Peace Denied to Areas Veronica: He - oh, I see. He's pointing over, and over the right side is a map. And he said peace also will be denied the areas shown. Oh, dear! I can see Egypt, and I see, oh, Asia. Oh, I see a lot of people there; they're all marching. They look like, kind of like Chinese... Chinese. And oh, they're getting ready for war. They've got all these tanks... all these tanks. And they're all marching, the armies; there's a whole lot of them. There's so many of them! 6 Veronica: I know that's China, and all these kind of - I guess yellow countries. Our Lady's placing - She's writing "Y-E-L-L-O-W" on the top, right over the map there. And oh, it looks like they're getting ready for an awful war or something. They're - oh, yes, they're all marching. Oh, oh. They're all dressed alike; they're very, very... Oh, there's women, too. There's women, too, that are marching with them, and the girls - the girls look very young; they look very young. Oh! Oh! Oh, now over them I see - oh-h... oh, it's Russia! I see Russia now is talking. Oh, they're at a big desk, a rather large desk. And that... umh! At the desk I can see... I know he's Russian. But sitting next to him... looks like someone I have seen before, like... I don't know... looks almost like Mr. Kissinger... I don't know. But he's sitting at the desk also, and it looks like they're planning; they're talking about... arms or support. I think there's going to be something going on. And Russia is going to... I think it sounds like they're going to fight. They're going to fight - oh, it's Egypt. I think they're going to go to war against Egypt and Africa. And - oh! And then Our Lady said: Our Lady: You are now living in the difficult times. The battle rages with satan. It is the battle of the spirits. This war of the spirits will continue unto the Coming of My Son. I am truly the Mother of Sorrows. Veronica: Our Lady now is walking over to a large rock. There's a large rock. It seems like the land is very barren. It almost looks like a desert land. I, I see in the distance large hills. Oh, they do look like pyramids, like you would find in Egypt - pyramids. Now Our Lady has found a small rock, and She's sitting on the rock now, and - oh, She's bowing Her head forward and placing Her hands over Her face. Our Lady is crying. Our Lady: Gathering at Palestine. Gathering at Palestine. Veronica: Oh, now it's getting very dark, and the sky is clearing. I can't see anything. And I can hear Our Lady. Vigil Message to Veronica, December 31, Now Our Lady is pointing over to the large hills, and one in particular now is becoming very clear. It has a carved figure. Oh, I recognize it. It's the sphinx, the sphinx. They have a carved, like animal-like head. And now Our Lady is pointing to it, and She is saying: AGENT 6 TO COME OUT OF EGYPT Our Lady: From out of this land will come number six, completing the reign of the spirits. He will promote the great War. Many will leave the earth by extermination of warfare. My child, your country and your leaders are not going onto the road to peace. They are walking farther into the darkness. You must all pray that they receive the light. Your country and much of the world will experience great suffering. 7 Vigil Message to Veronica, May 30, 1974 Our Lady: A great delusion has been allowed to come upon mankind. He will believe error. In this manner, those who have given themselves to satan will be gathered and set like the goats on one side of the Father. He shall then call the sheep. One will be called, one will remain. The chaff shall be separated from the good kernels. My child, shout from the rooftops. There is little time to speak in whispers. Shout from the rooftops. The pleasures of the flesh condemn many to hell. War is a punishment for man's sins. EGYPT Veronica: I see now a map, and I'm looking upon the countries that look like desert. I don't recognize them. And I see pyramids; that I know is Egypt. Egypt, yes. And I see people dressed in long garments with covers over their heads in bands. They're like from the desert countries. And they now are running forward. They're gathering guns from large crates, and some are carrying sticks. Thousands and thousands of people are running forward. I see horses now galloping from behind. Vigil Message to Veronica, June 8, 1974 Veronica: Now Michael is turning back, and he's pointing over to the left side of the flagpole, beyond the left side. And I see... oh, I see a terrible, terrible fighting, a war. I don't believe it's in the United States, because these people look like they're Egyptians, and Arabs, and dark-skinned people. And now, though, as the - I hear the great roar of bombs. I'm looking up, and the sky's becoming very lighted. And I am seeing thousands and thousands of people marching. But they look like Chinese, or Mongolian. No, they're - I believe they're Chinese; they're Asiatic. They're marching across the land, and they're boarding some kind of transport. They're going onto the water. Oh, it's a great War. Oh! Oh! Vigil Message to Veronica, March, 18, 1975 Veronica: Our Lady is pointing over now to the right side of the flagpole. The sky is lighting up, and I am looking into a mapped area that looks like - yes, it is Africa. And I can see... I'm looking over from the African part of the map, and I can see the other countries of Egypt and Israel. And - oh, now Our Lady is saying: THE CULMINATION OF ARMAGEDDON Our Lady: A coalition, My child, of the dark races. The world is fast heading to the culmination of the Armageddon. Veronica: Oh! Our Lady: My child, make it known to My children that they are being deceived. Many who come to them as angels of light are actually an agent of darkness. They go forward in error and gross deception, My child. Make it known: the practice of astrology offends the Eternal Father. It is a false science of the Antichrist. It is the practice of pagans. During, My child, the Holy Sacrifice of My Son, man must conduct himself with more propriety. Holiness must be returned to the houses of the world. Vigil Message to Veronica, March, 29, 1975 St. Michael: Blood shall flow in the streets, my children. Abominations upon abominations reaching into the hearts of mankind, destroying the souls. I shall be entered into the houses of your God, or you shall not have a full protection against the forces of evil that are raging now throughout your world. Veronica: Oh, now Michael is going up with Our Lady. They're moving over to the center of the sky, and Our Lady now is looking down sadly. And I see She's pointing now to what looks like a map. 8 Africa. Oh, my goodness! There seems to be a very dense darkness now settling upon those countries. Oh, my! And Our Lady is saying: Our Lady : The start of the Third World War, My child. You must hasten to send My message of warning throughout the world. Much help will be given you in this mission, so continue, My child, in your work. You will be strengthened by My Son. Veronica: Now Our Lady is placing Her hand with the Rosary right in front of Her. Oh, it is so beautiful! Oh, and Our Lady is making the sign Vigil Message to Veronica, November 20, 1975 One From Egypt To Cause Great Catastrophe Our Lady: You must keep a constant vigilance of prayer, for one will come out of Egypt and cause a great catastrophe to mankind. they will place - your government leaders will place their trust in enemies; and deception upon deception shall be set upon your country. Your leaders will be forced to keep this knowledge of great importance from you. However, deception is not the work of the Eternal Father in Heaven, but the agents of satan loosed now in great abundance in your country and in the world. There are organizations, My children, in your daily lives that have been set up by satan. They come as angels of light, infiltrating even into the sacred houses of My Son, the churches. You must learn to recognize the faces of evil. The foundation of your Faith and Tradition have been given to you. You do not seek novelty and change. A truth cannot be changed and adjusted to suit the nature of man, but man must change and adjust his lifetime to bring him to the Kingdom of the Eternal Father and not satan.
