Many peple believe that humanity is cmprised f three elements. Thse elements are: Spirit: This is the real yu, the inner higher self. It is the unchangeable yu that knws and understands its cnnectin t Gd. Sul: This aspect f yu is cnstantly changing. It is made up f yur thughts and feelings and everything else in yur mind. The sul can make chices either based n experiences it has in the material wrld r frm the Christ within. Bdy: This is the physical yu, the tangible yu. It is hw we mve arund in the wrld. Unity Writings: Gd is Spirit, r the creative energy that is the cause f all visible things. Gd as Spirit is the invisible life and intelligence underlying all physical things. There culd be n bdy, r visible part, t anything unless there was first Spirit as creative cause. - H. Pre-sessin: Spirit Within Make sure yu create a sacred space at the tables in yur rms. Yu can d this by lighting the Christ candle and then placing sacred bjects arund it. Greet Parents and Children. As much as pssible try t greet parents at the sign-in table. At the Sign-in table ask: Please print names Des yur child have a registratin frm filled ut? Any special needs that we shuld knw abut? Allergies? Can we have yur address fr updates? Pre-sessin Activity: Spirit Within Materials: Cnstructin Paper, play dugh, pipe cleaners, crayns/markers, varius craft materials The materials will be in yur tubs fr this activity. As yur class arrives and are signed in, ask them t think fr a mment abut what knwing that Gd is in them feels like. Des it feel like lve, des it feel sft, des it feel like mvement, des it feel big Once they have an idea then ask them t create a visual representatin f what that feeling lks like ut f the available materials. Anther way t have them think f this is t ask them what Gd within them lks like. Sacred Circle: Spirit, Sul, and Bdy 3 Ohms: In rder t synchrnize ur energies, have the children sit in a circle and begin sacred circle with 3 hms. Wh is Jesus fr us in Unity? NEW Intrductins/Namaste/Hugs: In turns, have each student stand and, ne at a time in a circle say Namaste and put their hands in a prayer psitin, bwing t their neighbr n their left and then give them a hug. The child receiving the hug in turn repeats the greeting with their neighbr. : "The light in me sees the light in yu." Heart Agreements : Heart Agreements establish the bundaries f hw everyne in the grup agrees t shw up in Sunday schl. They are nt being TOLD hw they must shw up; they are telling YOU hw they have agreed t shw up. During the curse f the lessn, yu may refer back t the Heart Agreements. Fr example, if a grup f kids is perpetually talking while yu are speaking, then yu may say t the class as a whle, What was ur heart agreement abut listening t speakers? And let the kids tell yu!

Find a cmfrtable spt n the flr r in yur chair. G ahead and clse yur eyes if yu wuld like and take a deep relaxing breath in and slwly let that breath ut. One mre time, let s take a breath in and slwly let it ut. Fcusing ur attentin n the divinity within us, we see urselves standing n hly grund We feel the bttm f ur feet beginning t vibrate with the energy f Gd. We feel that energy nw as it flws up ur legs int ur stmach and thrugh ur chest. We feel ur entire bdies vibrating with the very pwer and strength f Gd In this mment we knw that we are ne with Gd. We feel the strength f Gd flwing thrugh us in this nw mment. We nw knw that whatever we need t d, we will be empwered by the strength f Gd within us. We rest nw in the knwledge that Gd within is empwering us in this very mment Thank yu, Gd! I am strengthened by yur presence within me. Let s say that tgether, Thank yu, Gd! I am strengthened by yur presence within me. Amen! Stry time: Mses is called by Gd Yu will find the stry n page 70 f The Children s Illustrated Bible. Mses begins this stry as a slave in Egypt. After being frced t flee Egypt due t the murder he cmmits, Mses finds himself wrking as a shepherd when he is cnfrnted by the burning bush. Gd tells Mses that it is aware f the peple f Israel s suffering in Egypt and Mses is t be the ne t lead them t the Prmised Land. In many ways this stry is lived ut by each ne f us. Egypt represents ur lwer (human/material) cnsciusness, that cnsciusness that is made f ld, limiting

When Mses was talking with Gd, was it the spirit, sul, r bdy talking t Mses? Creative Experiences: Master Mind Prayer Materials: Cpies f the Master Mind Prayer, clr sheet Activity: We will take this time, during Fall Faith, t learn the Master Mind Prayer. Describe t the class the meaning behind the prayer, and hw pwerful it is t recite tgether as a grup. Have the class g arund the circle and have them recite the prayer frm steps 1-4 tgether. Then start with yurself and read step 5, and explain befrehand that after yu ffer yur heart s desire, the whle class respnds in unisn with, Yur heart s desire is nw made manifest! Explain that when they put their desire ut, the pwer f their prayer is expanded and given energy by the class repeating yur desire. It is pwerful! Give the children sme ideas if they are stumped: ie My heart s desire is fr : t d well n a test, prject, in sprts, gd health, etc. When everyne is cmplete, have the class read step 6 in unisn. Afterward, the children can use the clr-sheet t draw an image f their heart s desire, and take hme t cncentrate n fr the cming week. Clsing Prayer: Let us pause fr a mment in silence.
