Teaching faculties are mostly self-supporting volunteers (missionaries) from around the world. The president, founder, Dr.

2 1). Teaching Mission YUST is a university founded 16 years ago in th partnership between Korean NGO group and Chinese Education Ministry. This university has established an academic excellency in both fronts of teaching and character building. The current enrolment is exceeding to 1700 undergraduates. Teaching faculties are mostly self-supporting volunteers (missionaries) from around the world. The president, founder, Dr. James Kim invited me to establish Food Nutrition Program in the Biological and Chemical Engineering Faculty. I have been teaching Nutrition Course for the 3 rd and 4 th year students since Students and faculty reside in the university residents.

Food Nutrition Course A group photo was taken at the end of semester. My teaching assignment is to equip these precious young people with knowledge and life-management skills.

Science and Gospel always go together hand in hand. At the end of their university day, the most students become ready to accept Jesus as their savior. This university has a nick name as Golden Fishing Ground.

4 Student Care Each faculty member usually assigned with students for personal care group throughout the entire university years. These 10 students have been under my care. More than 90% of these students accept Jesus as their personal savior at the end. Joo and I have invested time and energy on these students by showing God s Love.

2). Scholarship Mission Home Church Leader Training School Scholarship: Scholarship is one of the most effective and guaranteed investment on people.

20 scholarship were given this year to home church leader training school. They serve 6 months in church and 6 month in school. It takes 3 years to complete. 14 YUST students were awarded this year.

The church revival in China has been unprecedented just like a brush fire. Christianity in China is way surpassed one billion. Church leaders are in high demand. 20 scholarship were given this year to home church leader training school. They serve 6 months in church and 6 month in school. It takes 3 years to complete. 14 YUST students were awarded this year. These students were carefully selected on the basis of financial need and scholastic record. Sim s Scholarship at YUST is to save those students from being forced to leave the university due to lack of money despite reasonably high grade. Such an investment as scholarship never fails you. You can see a high return.

6 3). Feed NK Children Mission The first construction project of Gulpo children home in NK is completed, fully furnished with brand new furniture and occupied with about 80 children. A brand new Chinese made-organ was provided as a gift. This lady is one of 4 teachers who seems so happy to see the newly installed vinyl floor. It was used be bare cement floor. She was amazed to look at and seemed appreciative. Children aged from 3 to 10 are housed, fed and even educated. Gulpo is a small farming village far from industrial cities. People are communal farmers who are most poor and helpless in the country. Processed foods like packaged noodle and some winter clothing were delivered to them.

7 2 nd construction project of WuAm-ri Children s Home Feeding program for the North Korean children in the country side requires to gather those children in one place and housed them. Construction has initiated in April and is expected to complete some time in August this year.

8 Nutritional Supplement of Soymilk with Biscuit Project Chongjin-city authority has asked for our help to produce biscuit or other bakery products supplying a high-energy food supplement. This bakery product must contain at least 500 kcal per serving.

9 Feed NK Children Mission (New Project) A typical daily ration contains about 200 g grains (usually corn) and a glass of soymilk per child. This meal supplies less than 50% of required calorie intake for a growing Child. A 100g bakery serving made of 81g wheat flour, 8.0 g sugar, and 10 g soy oil or fats and fortified vitamins/minerals Has been developed. Raw materials will be purchased from China and delivered.

Rebman s Dream Centre A study space is created for students at 3 rd floor of YUST Engineering Building with $10,000 gift from Lydia and John Rebman.

This facility is beautifully and functionally designed to accommodate students and faculty to use anytime day and night.

This room is named after the donor friends Canadian couple. This facility is beautifully and functionally designed to accommodate students and faculty to use anytime day and night. This project is a timely and most needed project. This room is called Dream Center coined with encouraging Scripture (Joel 2:28). Students whether they are saved nor unsaved will see visions and Dream dreams whenever enter this room. A beautifully designed plague is a permanent fixture as read as the next page---

14 YUST Senior Staff Christmas Celebration Even though church mission work is unwelcomed (banned) in China, YUST family within the campus is permitted to celebrate Christmas. Faculty Senior Choir presented a Christmas skit themed The 4 th Wiseman Seeking Baby Jesus. I must tell you that YUST Chinese Partners (Communist Party Members) have Joined in 08 Christmas celebration. It is a good sign for the future mission work.
