And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the baby leaped in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit, and she exclaimed with a loud cry, Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! And why is this granted to me that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For behold, when the sound of your greeting came to my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. We celebrate Holy Communion each week here at Peace, and it is a confession of faith that is confessed at this altar, that this meal of Christ s body and blood in, with and under the bread and the wine for the forgiveness of sins and strengthening of faith. Any who are not yet instructed, who is in doubt or who holds a confession different than that of this congregation or the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and still desires the Sacrament, are asked to speak with the pastor before communing.
