3 We gather in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen Call to Worship Come, sisters and brothers in Christ. You have been gathered in this place by the urging of the Holy Spirit. In that same Spirit, let us examine our hearts and minds so that we may confess our need for God s mercy and be made blameless in the sight of God. We confess that without God we are nothing. We confess that we rebel against God and are in need of forgiveness. We confess that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is where we find freedom, forgiveness, and hope. Amen God is full of mercy and compassion, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love. In the name of the Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, we are forgiven. 9 The Lord s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen We believe that Jesus Christ is truly present in the bread and wine and grants us the gift of God s grace and forgiveness. All are welcome to receive this gift.
