2 Page 2 A NOTE FROM FATHER ANDREW Dear Friends: I hope you will have a wonderful July 4th with family and friends. Vacation Bible School begins this week. Please keep Christine Stavash and the entire VBS team in your prayers. This year we have the most children ever, 129 in the program. Our VBS has continually grown over the years because of Christine and her Team. My thanks to Jeff Sedliecki and his team for building yet again another fabulous set. If you get a chance, stop down Hoffman Hall and give a look. As you can see, the set up for the festival continues. We are always in need of help. Please consider giving some time on Wednesday nights or Saturday mornings. The set up team would greatly appreciate your support and help. Also, festival sign ups have been in the atrium for a while. Please stop and give us some time during festival week. Please make sure you also visit the Ride Ticket table to get the discount tickets. See you on the weekend. Have a great week! Fr. Living in Faith Together comes to a close, we thank all the ministers who helped to make the program a meaningful and vibrant experience for our families. Most importantly, we thank our families because of your commitment and involvement in your child s faith formation, our children will continue to grow in their faith, experience God in their lives, and become active participants of our parish community. If you have a child entering 1 st grade in September, if you are new to our parish and have children in grades 1-8, or have been away from family faith formation and would like to come back to our program, please consider attending our introduction meetings on July 9 th at either 11:00am or 7:00pm. The meeting will last no more than an hour and your children are welcome. Questions? PARISH COMMUNICATIONS Dear Ministries: It is so very important for our parish that we effectively communicate parish and ministry events. In order to more efficiently serve you, we ask that you submit all communications to Dottie Connelly via at dconnelly@holyeucharist.org. This includes announcements for the bulletin, website, facebook page and parish s. Submit all pertinent information about your event or meeting including dates, times, contact information and description. You are welcome to submit images to enhance your listing. Submit updates on events as well so that we are communicating the most current information. Communicate AFTER your events it is wonderful to know the success of your programs! If you would like your ministry schedules posted to the website under your ministry listing, we will be happy to do that. We will not, however, post individual member s addresses or phone numbers. All announcements must be submitted via to Dottie by Friday at 3:00pm to be included in the following week s communications. Check back often on our website to be sure that information we have about your ministry or events is up to date. You can submit any changes to Dottie. We have recently changed our website look. Please note that the first time you look at the new site, you will need to type in where you will be redirected to the new site location. Please continue to submit your event facility requests to Jackie Kaine. The form can be found on our website ( or you can obtain a form from the office or welcome center. It is important that you update your facility requests should there be changes in your schedule. A cancelled meeting or event can result in the building being left open at night without anyone in the building. Dr. Johnson will speak about the blessings and opportunities for spiritual growth in the second half of life. We are especially in need of items that food stamps cannot buy: Paper Products (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, tissues), household cleaning items (soap, detergent, cleaners) and toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes). God bless our Holy Eucharist parishioners for your continued donations, generosity and kindness HERO YOUTH MINISTY Special thanks to all our HERO members who participated in the incredible Stand Up for Our Faith event. Much gratitude to the adults who participated and helped at any point throughout the 24 hours. Thanks to the entire parish for their prayers and monetary donations. A NNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL The Annual Catholic Appeal throughout the Diocese of Trenton has begun. Each year the Bishop seeks the support of all of the members of the diocese to further the work of our ministries. Each of us has a vital part in all we do in Christ s name, and each of us can share in all we do with a gift to the Annual Catholic Appeal. Our single Act of Faith propels the works of love that build up our Church. You make that happen with a generous gift to the Annual Catholic Appeal.
