4 Confession + Forgiveness *Call Confession Beloved, we are God s children because of love God has for us, yet we sometimes fail respond God s outping of love. Let us confess sins ger. *Prayer of Confession Merciful and loving God, y love for us is unconditional, yet love for you, for ors and for selves is often marred. We allow prejudice and pride blind us; brokenness remains unhealed; we cling old sries and hurts which impede work of reconciliation. Forgive us, we pray, for failing trust you, for playing it safe instead of following daring call of y Spirit, for withholding forgiveness and grace from selves and ors. Let y love renew us yet again.
