I recently read this and it struck me that how simple God's love for us is yet it is extravagant and He lavishes His love upon us. Let us choose to walk in the plans and purposes of God in He is for us not against us. Take a moment and find encouragement in this excerpt from a word from Lance Wallnau. You did not choose Me but I chose you that you should bring forth fruit and that your fruit should remain God chose you and pursued you or you would not be a believer today. God set you up to find Him. And now that you are His you need to know that He has a purpose and a plan for you. The Bible says "I know the plans I have for you says the Lord. Plans not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future. Seeking first the kingdom of God is in reality choosing to please Him in all that you do. 90% of my warfare in life has come from choices that were not in line with God's plan. I've made a choice to submit my life to the Word of God and wise counsel from those God gave me. The result? One day at a time, one choice at a time, one decision at a time I choose that which aligns with His choice for me. The result? Everything starts working together for the good of the assignment. Everything, including places where I missed it. God has power to work it all out for His purpose and your blessing. Every day the burden gets lighter when I walk in agreement with His plan and His word. Bless your neighbor Look for simple ways to be a blessing to those around you. 2 Look for simple ways to be a blessing to those around you, even if it s just in the small things. 10 Simple Ways to Bless Your Neighbors 1. A personal visit Instead of calling, knock on the door and say hello. It can feel awkward, but people love it.. 2. Baking Here! I thought you might want to try this new recipe I just made! 3. Yard work stop by their house if you notice leaves on the sidewalk or dirt that needs to be swept. 4. Notes Who doesn t feel loved by a hand written note? You can add a favorite scripture or we re praying for you message into your note without seeming too pushy. 5. Love their pets neighbors are very attached to their pets, so take a cat toy or dog bone over to let them know you care about their pets too! 6. Share a gift Fill a collapsible cooler for a sick friend with soup and crackers, tissues, etc Backpack filled with school supplies for students or teachers in the middle of the school year as they need to replenish. Toiletries, blankets for homeless. Emergency bag filled with flashlight, water bottle 7. Watch their house If they are headed out of town, offer to keep an eye on things while they are gone. Be sure you have their contact information and make sure that they have yours. 8. Take them a book If your neighbor has children or grandchildren that like to visit, take over a good book to add to their library. 9. Let them know that you are praying for them listen for ways to pray for them specifically. You can tell them, That s good to know! I will pray for that. 10. Gift Cards Have gift cards on hand to give out at gas station or at grocery store. Let your neighbors know that you care about them. You will end up more blessed than the people you are trying to bless

Ruby and her husband Adan have three children, Noah 11, Olivia 9, and Shiloh 20 months. Her husband Adan is Stephenville Aglow's Spanish translator. Ruby is it currently a stayat-home mom. She loves spending time with family and friends, traveling and going to fleamarkets with an interest in history and genealogy. Her heart for Stephenville Aglow is to experience true community through the Lord for everyone. Her heart for Stephenville Aglow is to see people from all walks of life, different ages, and different races be able to attend meetings and be introduced to the truth of Jesus Christ. I want the unchurched to feel comfortable seeking a relationship with Jesus at our meetings and among our people. I want the current believers who attend Aglow to make a point to help those that are coming to our meetings learn how to be a better disciple. A former public school teacher, but now a stay at home mom. Becca enjoys working out and staying active, singing and making music. She likes to laugh and find humor in situations. She is a 4th grade teacher and loves seeing people brought to the Lord and through Aglow, be encouraged in their relationship with Him and having a place to fellowship with other believers. She likes reading and spending time with the family. I think coming out of one of the most difficult times in my life grew me the closest I've ever been to The Lord, and demonstrates Romans 8:28. The Lord has never been the same in my life since then. He proved to be enough for me in this time. 4 Your Stephenville Aglow team Nicole Petet is VP of Public Relations. Nicole is a realtor with United Country Realty and enjoys riding horses. She has a heart to serve and encourage others in their walk with the Lord to not give up, apply God s promises in life and walk in victory. Her heart for Stephenville Aglow is to see people set free and transformed into the loving grace of the Lord. She enjoys going to ministry meetings, spending time with friends, shopping, reading and doing crafts. Michele is a hospice nurse who also works as a Supreme Court certified process server and does undercover surveillance. A pivotal point in her life and walk with the Lord was when she went through a divorce. I then realized exactly how much I needed the Lord on a daily basis. Her favorite scriptures are John 8:32 because once you realize the truth, the truth sets you free. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. You have the language of possibilities What would it look like for you to see majesty everywhere, to think majesty, so all your thinking glorifies Him and elevates you in the same moment? We are not being challenged by the demonic or oppositional people, Jesus is above all of that. What if we re only being challenged with goodness? What if goodness itself is a nuclear device? We overcome evil with good. There s no doubt that what makes the Lord distinctive above all other Gods is His power, His excellence, and above all His majesty. He is unequalled, unrivaled, unsurpassed in His superiority. When we become focused on His exalted self, our worship goes to a place of exaltation. To enter into worship fully, you have to lose the sense of yourself. We are changed when we connect with majesty as a life force. Whatever you seek in life you are going to find even if it s the wrong thing. Make sure you look in the right way. You need to learn a vocabulary that has no place for any negative words, no place for fear, no place for anxiety or worry or panic. You have the language of possibilities because Jesus came down and He never talked about problems, because He s representing the Kingdom. There are no problems in Heaven. You can t keep giving in to the language of the world when the language of the Kingdom is better. The language of faith and trust and possibility is so much more powerful. Dr. Jack Hayford When we put our faith in the Redeemer who came through the Jews, we enter into a line of those who have trusted God according to His revealed grace and redemptive purpose. Scripture declares that, spiritually speaking, when you receive the Lord, you become a Jew (Romans 2:28, 29). If you are a believer, you cannot be consistent with the whole of Scripture and take a position that is passive toward the Jews and Israel. Note from a former Muslim Islam is a blinding force. A Muslim can live in a total demeanor of sin, not realizing that he is a sinner. And in them the prophecy of Isaiah 6:9 is fulfilled, which says Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, and seeing you will see and not perceive You may ask, how can we open their eyes of understanding? 6 The Significance of a Name by Jane Hansen Hoyt A name. It is a point of identification and is a distinctive designation. The ability to refer to and identity a subject is integral to our way of communicating with one another. You greet people, by giving your name. Names also have power. Your signature on any legal document carries an authority and, in essence, states that you are knowledgeable of, and responsible for that which you are signing your name to. A NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES There is a name that is far greater than any name in history. It is the name that is above all names. There are not enough nouns and adjectives in any language of the world to describe the majestic, all powerful name of the Lord Jesus Christ. God has highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name; That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongues should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Phil. 2:9 It is the name that rules all heaven, earth and under the earth. His name rules in this world and in the world to come. His name identifies Him. His name has power and there is authority in His name. Generations- calling the younger generation College Girls Fall Fellowship We enjoyed a time of fellowship around some delicious home-made soups. Julie Staude encouraged us to be a Tour Guide to those who have newly come to the Lord, show them around, be excited, be patient, and let them experience the new places in God for themselves. Becca Tanner shared her heart and struggles as a young Christian girl showing us how to be free from guilt and condemnation of the past. He who the Son sets free is free indeed! Outreach Christmas Blessing Families Stephenville Aglow was happy to be able to bless some families with gift cards and gifts for Christmas. Helping meet families right where there are at, meeting practical everyday needs with Love. Thank you so much to all those who made it possible.
