Bible Story Summary: Jesus and His disciples passed a man who had been blind since birth. The disciples asked, Who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus explained that the man was not born blind because of sin, but his healing would bring glory to God. Jesus had compassion for the man and healed him. Bible Story Summary: Parents brought their children to Jesus, but the disciples tried to turn them away. Jesus told His disciples to allow the children to come to Him. 5 New Disciple Training The New Disciple s Class provides an overview of the Leadership structure at New Destiny Baptist Church, and principles of Christian growth for making disciples who make a difference. The four-week class is a discussion of the following topics: Salvation by Grace Spiritual Growth and Discipleship Spiritual Gifts and Service Stewardship and Giving 3 EEE Training The 3E Discipleship Class is designed to lead people to a life changing experience in Jesus Christ resulting in an ongoing mature and loving relationship with Him. To accomplish this and carry out Christ s purposes and mission for the church, we focus on three primary areas: Exalt the Savior (to be raised to the highest heights), Equip the Saints (to prepare and to strengthen), and Evangelize the Sinner (to spread the plan of salvation). The motivation in effectively disciplining others to gain practical tools on how to be part of God s exciting process of making disciples who make a difference is simple - we value our love for God, each other, and the lost!
