2 WHAT IS A KINGDOM?: The governing influence of a king over a territory impacting it with his will, his purposes and intent producing a citizenship of people who reflect his culture and nature and who develop his established kingdom in that territory.
3 Gen 1:26 translated: Let my kids have kingdom: sovereign RULERSHIP over the earth impacting it with My will and My intent UNTIL the earth takes on My culture My values, moral, nature, and weight My glory.
4 God never wanted to live here. He wanted to stay in heaven and let us rule the earth on his behalf. That was the plan! He wanted a colony on earth. ***So, Genesis 1:26 is God s Colonization Project
5 TERMINOLOGY COLONIZATION: Extend and expand your culture to a distant territory (kingdom territorial expansion.) COLONY: The name you give to the citizens who were sent to live in the distant country. They are the ones who bring the glory of that country to that distant place.
6 TERMINOLOGY GLORY: It means imprint or impact; influence. It not only means the presence but the impact of that presence. CULTURE: The attitudes and behavior characteristic of a community.
7 HISTORICAL PROTOTYPE
8 Following a long succession of kings, most of whom rejected God and served idols, the Northern Kingdom [Israel] and the Southern Kingdom [Judah] fell to outside conquerors.
9 Babylon conquered the Southern Kingdom of Judah and the best of her people were carried into exile for 70 years. Assyria conquered the Northern Kingdom; they assimilated into the Assyrian empire and ceased to exist. ***They took them to their land and allowed them to keep their culture

12 Rome became the greatest empire in history because it had a system of government that worked better than any that had gone on before. It was the first empire in history with a structure and administration that resembled the Kingdom of God.
13 It was a simple system, really: Take over territory Leave the people in the land Appoint a governor and establish an administration that will turn them into Romans THIS IS TRUE COLONIZATION A PROTOTYPE
14 Fullness of time: This was the perfect model for the message of the Kingdom of God because it contained the concepts of the kingdom that would then and should now make the message of Jesus easily understood. God's kingdom model (prototype) was in place.
15 ROLE OF COLONIZATION: INCREASE, INCREASE, INCREASE = POWER, POWER, POWER. BECAUSE TERRITORY IS THE MEASURE OF THE POWER OF A KING. THE MORE TERRITORY A KING CONTROLS THE MORE POWERFUL THE KING.

28 CONCLUSION: COLONIZATION IS GOD S ORIGINAL IDEA. HE IS THE FIRST COLONIAL THINKER. GOD S INTENT WAS TO EXTEND AND EXPAND HIS KINGDOM [HEAVEN] TO A DISTANT TERRITORY [EARTH] AND RULED BY HIS CITIZENS [YOU AND ME].
