5 Opening prayer Bless us, O God, for this pilgrimage opportunity to travel together as a community, to meet people, to make friends, to enjoy and celebrate God s creation. Guide and help us, O God, to seize opportunities in the travelling, the conversations and the silences to reflect on the journey of our lives and on our journey homewards to You. May You look over us all and guide us towards safe harbours; this we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
