Throughout the world, the Pontifical Mission Society spreads the good news of the Gospel far and wide. Let us pray, and offer our gift of support and money to the spread of the Gospel in faraway lands, and in our own cities and towns. Let us pray Good and gracious God, we humbly ask your blessings upon our brothers and sisters in lands far from us. Your Gospel message was handed to us through our parents and nurtured in our communities by priests, brothers, and sisters who have dedicated their lives to spread God's good news. Help us to be generous in our offering of monetary gifts to the Pontifical Mission Society. May our gifts continue the work of evangelization of countries throughout the world. We ask this in Christ's name, who is our brother and savior. Amen.

St. Brigid s Happenings MASS FOR DECEASED MEMBERS OF HOLY NAME SOCIETY The members of St. Brigid Holy Name Society will remember their deceased members at a special Mass on Thursday, November 3rd at 7:00PM. We invite their families and all to attend this recognition of their service to St. Brigid Parish Community. NOVEMBER MONTH OF SHARED REMEMBRANCE We will gather for an All Souls Day Prayer Service at St. Brigid s cemetery on November 2 nd at 6:00 PM, (weather permitting). Otherwise come to the church hall. This candle lighting service provides us with a quiet time, to reflect and remember in our own way, deceased friends and relatives. If you wish, pictures, mementoes, candles or personal luminaries can be placed on the alter of remembrance to focus our prayers on these loved ones. Flash lights are helpful at the cemetery. The sharing will continue with wine, cheese, cider and donuts following the service. COFFEE HOUR New Year, New Coffee Hour, Different Menu! 5:00PM Mass volunteers will provide both a vegetable tray and a cheese, cracker and pepperoni tray and 9:00AM Mass volunteers will serve donuts, bagels and coffee, of course! 5 OUR LADY OF MERCY PARISH GOAL FOR UPON THIS ROCK CAMPAIGN GOAL $890,000 AMOUNT RAISED $446,300 TO BE RAISED $443,700 TRUNK OR TREAT and St. Brigid Parishes will have Halloween treats for the Faith Formation Students on the weekend of October 29th & 30th following classes. Candy donations are appreciated and volunteers to hand out the goodies! Please sign up at the back of the church to volunteer. Candy may be dropped off at the parish office. WEDDING BANNS II Joseph Shaughnessy and Arlene Hall Pumpkins in Playgroup! The Playgroup friends at Love Bugs Preschool had a day filled with pumpkins. They washed pumpkins in their water table, stamped pumpkins with bingo markers and ended their day with ring around the pumpkin. Pictured here are the Love Bugs Playgroup friends with the jack-o-lantern they made together!
