As you come to Him, the living stone rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
WELCOME Introductions Presentation Outline Historical Perspective Church construction background Financing details Pay it down, Pay it forward Request financial support
Thank you! You are the living stones that build our church.

One unique circumstance that has shaped Holy Innocents is its location. Historically remote, the Snoqualmie Valley communities have cultivated self-sufficient, community-oriented parishioners who rely on their own initiative to get things done. - Most Reverend Alex J. Brunett [excerpt from a letter to Holy Innocents in 1999)
CONSTRUCTION BACKGROUND Only 13 of 76 applicants received a building permit in Holy Innocents is #12 Groundbreaking of Church takes place in Construction begins!
WHAT HAPPENS AT HOLY INNOCENTS?
We have a place for worship and prayer Sunday Mass Tuesday evening Mass Weekly Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament Centering prayer Individual prayer and devotion Quincinera Celebration Guadalupe Mass and meal Stations of the Cross during Lent

We offer comfort & healing Sacrament of Reconciliation and confession Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick Funerals Communion to the homebound
We educate our members in our faith Sacramental preparation for our children and teens RCIA formation for adults to become members of the Catholic Church Women s faith sharing Children catechesis Youth group for Middle and High School
We come together for fellowship Pancake Breakfasts provided by the Knights of Columbus Family Ministry Church picnic Lenten Soup Suppers
We give service to those in need St. Vincent de Paul: meetings, referrals Food Pantry: Mondays set up, Tuesdays organize, Wednesday distribute food School Supplies for the Pantry Children Thanksgiving Meal grocery vouchers Christmas gift cards, gifts, and food vouchers Lazarus Day Center sandwich making monthly Bus passes and gas vouchers
We welcome the larger Snoqualmie Valley Community Alcoholic Anonymous weekly meetings Cub Scout Pack meetings monthly, Den meetings weekly City of Duvall Recycling A place for Non-profit organizations to hold functions Occasional parking for public school functions
In order to facilitate these kind of encounters with Christ, we need and use resources. THERE ARE TWO BUDGETS: 1) OPERATING BUDGET (annual stewardship) 2) CAPITAL BUDGET (building-related such as the Living Stones campaign)
FINANCIAL FACTS Operating Budget Revenue for operating budget is received through ordinary income the generous contributions of parishioners. Holy Innocents collects about $31,000 per month for operating expenses. Operating expenses total about $30,000 per month. Capital Budget Revenue for the capital budget is received entirely through capital campaign pledges. These funds are directed specifically to paying off our loan. These funds are over & above regular operating expenses.
THE BUILDING LOAN It cost $5.1 million to build Holy Innocents Church. The original loan was for $3,731,127. The difference between building cost and loan was from the sale of old church, fundraising and savings.
THE BUILDING LOAN The loan is financed through the Archdiocese of Seattle at a flat interest rate of 6.75%. Holy Innocents is 7 years into a 30-year loan. The remaining mortgage is $3,310,000. Monthly payments are $24,200.
THE MORE WE RAISE THE LESS WE PAY RAISING $1.5 Million Raising $1.5 million funds the minimum payment. The minimum payment keeps the parish on course to pay off the loan in RAISING $2 Million Raising $2 million will accelerate payments and shorten term of loan by 92 months (7 ½ years!). Raising the $2 million can save Holy Innocents almost $1 million interest payments.

Payment $20,000 $15,000 Interest $10,000 $5,000 Principal $
Equal Sacrifice, Not Equal Gifts You will be given a campaign brochure and pledge information Please take home and prayerfully consider your gift to the campaign Campaign seeks an average gift of $5,000 Some can give much more and some less Complete pledge card and return within one week
The Chart of Gifts is a guide only. Pledges can be made via credit card, electronic fund transfer or cash/check. Appreciated assets are welcome. Please contact Gail Dimock at the parish office. Your employer may match your charitable gift in support of the Food Bank/Outreach Center. Planned Giving is arranged through the Archdiocese of Seattle.
Thank you! You are the living stones that build our church.
