4 A DIVINE MERCY HOLY HOUR WILL BE OBSERVED THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON at 3 pm ( The Hour Of Great Mercy Diary 1320 ) in the Divine Mercy Chapel. There will be Eucharistic Adoration, Benediction, Praying of the Chaplet and a reading from Saint Faustina's Diary. In addition, complimentary framed and blessed Divine Mercy images, St. Faustina Diaries, prayer cards, and informational pamphlets will be available. SHALL WE DANCE Come celebrate the 40th anniversary year of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish with a dress-up dance on Saturday, July 29, after the 5 pm Mass. Sponsored by American Heritage Girls and our Columbiettes. Join us for food and a social time at 6. At 6:45, popular local ballroom dance instructor Col. Frank Hancock, of Hancock Dance, will offer nearly an hour of instruction (call it a refresher if you re already experienced!). Then, on to the dance floor! SEASONS OF HOPE is our new parish Bereavement Support Group. This Christ-centered program was created by nationally recognized hospice care and bereavement specialist, M. Donna MacLeod, following the death of her daughter nearly twenty years ago. These Scripture-based sessions for those who are grieving follow a simple format of commentary, Scripture, prayer, group exercises, faith-sharing, and Catholic tradition. Season One begins Thursday, July 27, at 7 pm with group facilitator Ernie Nettleton. This month s film is Paul the Apostle. This adaptation, largely based on the biblical account, profiles Christ's most prolific messenger. Paul, originally known as Saul of Tarsus, was at the forefront of efforts to stamp out the early church until Jesus stopped him on the road to Damascus. He joyfully faced persecution, imprisonment, and peril in order to share the love and redemption offered by Christ. Beautifully shot in the Moroccan desert. WEST SHORE ULTREYA The Harrisburg Cursillo Movement will be holding a West Shore Ultreya on Monday, June 26, from 6:30 to 7:30pm, at Saint Katherine Drexel Parish. The Ultreya will take place in the Monsignor Smith Community Center, which is accessed by driving behind the church to the lower level. Youth Impact Project partners with businesses, churches, schools, and organizations to serve South Central PA families who struggle financially to prepare their children each year for the start of school. A "tent event" will be held July 29 on the grounds of Northern High School to help provide school supplies and other products that meet basic needs. This year we have been asked to help supply shaving cream and disposable razors for the Grocery Tent. (Use those grocery store coupons, or pick up bargains on your next trip to a discount store!)
