3 Proclamation of Praise (Psalm 27:4-8, The Message ) I m asking God for one thing, only one thing: To live with him in his house my whole life long. I ll contemplate his beauty; I ll study at his feet. That s the only quiet, secure place in a noisy world. The perfect getaway, far from the buzz of traffic. God holds me head and shoulders above all who try to pull me down. I m headed for his place to offer anthems that will raise the roof! Already I m singing God-songs; I m making music to God. 4 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. And also with you. Prayer of the Day Lord Jesus, you have freed us to engage in life and build the kingdom of heaven on earth. Protect us from evil, heal our pain, fill us with joy, draw us close to the fellowship of your people, and empower us to be your willing servants. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen 5

8 We believe that Jesus Christ is truly present in the bread and wine and grants us the gift of God s grace and forgiveness. All are welcome to receive this gift. 10 Today s Music The River City Chorale Ensemble Singers Bill Chouinard, organist Instrumental Ensemble: Eric Martin, Kyler Bahrke, Adrian Kacian, Les Lueck, Ben Martin, Bill Chouinard The River City Chorale Ensemble Singers; Andy Haase, director; Jodell Krause, accompanist: The Ensemble Singers, based in Hudson, Wisconsin, is an auditioned group of singers from The River City Chorale. Singers from Hudson, River Falls, Woodbury, St. Paul, Stillwater, New Richmond, Roberts and other river communities, come together for intense, challenging, energetic and most importantly, rewarding musical rehearsals and performances. Andrew Haase is the founding artistic director and conductor. He is the director of St. Andrew s Young Adult Choir. Over the past 30 years they have regularly provided this musical ministry involving over 40 Sundays each year. Their mission is to Make a Joyful Noise Unto the Lord, and their music provides an uplifting experience for both the musicians and the congregation.
