The stars in the bright sky look down where he lay the little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay. 2. The cattle are lowing; the poor baby wakes but little Lord Jesus no crying he makes, I love thee Lord Jesus, look down from the sky and stay by my side until morning is nigh. 3. I believe in Jesus Christ, God s only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. 5 SEALING THE WORD At the time of the DISTRIBUTION OF THE ELEMENTS, worshipers may come forward, down the center aisle, to receive bread and then dip their bread in the chalice. Those who are unable to come down the aisle, or who prefer to receive in the pew, will be served bread and an individual cup by an elder who will be walking around the sanctuary to serve those who remain seated. Christians of any age or church affiliation are welcome at Christ s table, where Christ is the host. INVITATION One: The Lord be with you. All: And also with you. One: Lift up your hearts. All: We lift them to the Lord. One: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. All: It is right to give God thanks and praise.
