Youth Ministries C o m m u n i t y B u l l e t i n Office Closed The office and buildings will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 24 th and 25 th for Thanksgiving. Christmas Program Call for Talent The Christmas Program this year will be on Saturday evening, Dec. 17. One part of it will feature a sample of the musical talent of our parish. We are inviting accomplished vocalists and instrumentalists, who are interested in performing in the program, to contact the committee, before Oct. 28, to discuss the openings and schedule an audition. Vocalists may call Joanna Dendrolivanos: at Instrumentalists may contact Fr. Seraphim Dedes: seraphimdedes@gmail.com Better Late than Never Book Club There will not be a meeting in November. Our next meeting is Tuesday, December 13 th to discuss A Christmas Memory by Truman Capote and A Child s Christmas in Wales by Dylan Thomas. The Book Club meets at 7:30 p.m. at the Starbucks on Rea Rd., in the Trader Joe s shopping center. The group is always welcoming new members. Everyone is encouraged to attend the services for the Feast Day of St. Nektarios. Next gathering will be the annual Christmas Dinner on December 8 th at 6:00 p.m. Military Ministry Honors Veteran s Day NOV. 13 Active service personnel and Veterans are asked to mark their calendars for the annual tribute on November 13 following the Divine Liturgy. The tribute will include a memorial service for our reposed members and a special coffee hour reception. We would like to feature a display of photos and/or memorabilia. Please contact Kim Clewell in the church office for more information. Please submit names for the memorial services and bring in your photos/items for the display by November 6. If you would like to help with this project, contact Deidre Lepkowski at Second Tray Periodically, we pass a second tray on Sundays to support those causes beyond St. Nektarios. In November, we have one opportunity to offer our assistance: November 4 to benefit the Patriarchate Thanking you in advance for your contributions.
