1 Nepal FAM Trip 8 Nights 9 Days Date: Monday, April 9, 2018 About Nepal: Naturally Nepal, Once is not Enough - officially the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, is a landlocked country in South Asia located in the Himalaya. With an estimated population of 26.4 million, it is 48th largest country by population and 93rd largest country by area. The highest country on Earth, lofty Nepal is commonly referred to as the roof of the world. That seems like a fitting moniker for this Himalayan nation, where soaring, snow-capped mountains disappear into the clouds like stairways to heaven. Mount Everest is the star attraction. Travellers come in their droves to trekking, hike, mountaineering and admire the world s tallest peaks, which flirts with the stratosphere at 8,848m (29,029ft). But this charming country is much more than just mountains. The birthplace of Gautama Buddha, Nepal is an important pilgrimage site for millions of Buddhists, who come from far and wide to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lumbini, a temple complex where Buddha once lived. Holy places abound in Nepal, but not just of the Buddhist variety; Hinduism has a strong foothold in the country and there are many Hindu temples scattered across the country Also hit hard was the Nepali capital, Kathmandu, which is encircled by soaring mountain ranges. A beautiful, bustling city it stands at a cultural crossroads between India and China, whose influences can be seen in the architecture and tasted in the cuisine. Meanwhile, a Western vibe prevails in the lively Thamel zone, which is lined with clubs, restaurants and bars. Kathmandu is a good starting point for travellers venturing into the jungle at Chitwan National Park, which is home to Bengali tigers, crocodiles and one-horned rhinos, plus myriad bird species. Pokhara Phewa Lake is another draw for tourists, as are the hiking trails in the Himalayas. Wherever you go though, wide smiles will be there to greet you; Nepalese people are amongst the friendliest in the world and it s not uncommon to be invited into a stranger s home for tea. Suggested Itinerary: Days Activities Meals 01 Kathmandu Arrival B=X L=X Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our office representative welcomes you with garland and escorts to your hotel. 2 02 Everest Mountain Flight and UNESCO World Heritage Site Sightseeing Tour Early morning at 5:30 am, pick up from hotel and transfer to Domestic Airport in Kathmandu for a mountain flight. Approx. One hour of mountain flight gives you an opportunity to witness the snowcapped mountains like; Langtang Range, Dorje Lakpa, Mountain Everest and so on, on a parallel view. Back to hotel and enjoy breakfast. Then proceed for guided sightseeing tour of UNESCO listed World Heritage site of Kathmandu Valley; Boudhanath (sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site with probably the largest Buddhist Stupa of South Asia), Pashupatinath (Sacred Hindu Holy site, situated on the bank of holy river Bagmati), Patan (City of Fine art) and Bhaktapur (City of Devotees also known as Bhadgaon or Khowpa). 03 Flight to Pokhara (Approx. 25 min of Flight) Breakfast at the hotel and drive to domestic airport for a flight to Pokhara. Approx. 25 min of flight from Kathmandu takes you to the beautiful city of Lakes called Pokhara. Check In at the hotel and proceed for sightseeing tour of Davis fall, Gupteshwor and Peace Pagoda. 04 Sarangkot Sunrise and Pokhara City tour Early in the morning, drive to Sarangkot (1590 m) for sunrise view over the snowcapped mountain. Form Sarangkot, once can enjoy the views of snowcapped mountains like; Dhaulagiri, Hiuchuli, Fishtail (Machhapuchre), Lamjung Himal, Annapurna I, II, III, IV and South. Back to hotel and enjoy breakfast. Then proceed for sightseeing tour of International Mountain Museum and one hour Few Lake boating. Back to Hotel and stay overnight. 05 Drive from Pokhara to Chitwan (Approx. 5 hrs. Drive)

3 Early breakfast at the hotel and drive to Chitwan (plain low land of Nepal). Chitwan is famous for Jungle Activities such as; elephant safari or jeep safari, Village and Nature walk, bird watching tour, Tharu Culture and cultural shows, Canoe Ride and so on. 06 Full day Jungle Activities 07 Drive from Chitwan to Lumbini Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Lumbini. Check in at the hotel and proceed for sightseeing tour of Lumbini, Visit sacred birth place of Shakyamuni Buddha, Mayadevi pond and many other monasteries in Lumbini. 08 Fly back to Kathmandu and Meeting with CEO of Nepal Tourism Board Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Bhairahawa for a flight to Kathmandu (Approx. 40 min flight). Up on arrival at Kathmandu, Check In at the hotel and visit to Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) for a meeting with CEO of NTB (Discuss about tourism in Nepal and ASTA). Evening farewell dinner at Typical Nepali Restaurant with cultural shows. 09 Final Departure Breakfast at the hotel and as per your flight schedule transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu for a final departure.
