In this paragraph ecclesiastical charity has the same meaning as that assigned to that expression in the Local Government Act A candidate may, if he/she so wishes, provide a factual statement (not more than 100 words) for circulation with the voting paper, setting out their professional qualifications, present office, and any relevant past experience.
