SUMMER CAMP MAD-O- MANIA Summer Vacation is the opportunity for children to rejuvenate and revive onself and Modern School, Vaishali took it as an opportunity to bring out the latent skills within students. Modern School, Vaishali conducted its Summer Camp Bal Bhawan from 16 May June INDEPENDENCE DAY A two days 72 Independence day celebration was organized in the premises of Modern School Vaishali under the supervision of Vice Principal Ms. Latha N. Suresh of the school. With the same prospective the annual event Tarang was held on 12 September 2018 in the school premises. It was a fiesta of interschool competition for classes Pre Nursery, Nursery and K.G. पख ड क अ तर नत कई प रततय गर त ओ क आय जर WORKSHOP ON WOMEN SELF DEFENCE ईदर ह र टक क मर ह र द श य द खत ह बर त On 18 August 2018, a team of Institute trained and aware the girls about selfdefense spread then ray of spirit among them. It was conducted by Kelvin Institute, specifically on the Project Beti Bachayenge Beti Padhayenge with the vision of saving girl child. The students were really benefitted by the techniques of self-defense which is the need of the hour. RHETORIC 2018 Modern School, Vaishali conducted an Inter School Debate Competition Rhetoric 2018 on 1 August All the schools were extremely delighted to be the part and parcel of this eventful occasion. The event culminated with the hope that coming years see more and more of such collaborative activities WORKSHOP LEARNING NEVER ENDS Scrapbook 2018 Children s publishing Conclave was organized by FICCI on August The objective was to bring all the stakeholders involved in the education at one platform including the role of publishers in the changing scenario. HEALTH POT-POURI An activity was conducted on 21 September 2018 to aware the toddlers about the Health, Hygiene and diet through a fancy dress ramp walk. The students demonstrated about their respective tribe and presented themselves in their tribal dresses. This activity enhanced presentation and communication skills of the students. INVESTITURE CEREMONY Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them an anticipation of functioning of the administrative bodies, a school cabinet was formed at Modern School Vaishali on 14 August The Director Shri Saurabh Jain, the Vice Principal Ms. Latha N. Suresh administered swear-in ceremony. All the cabinet members were honored with badges and sashes by the Chief Guest, Mr. WORKSHOP FITNESS Mehruddin Khan 2 I C,ON General B. S. F. SESSION Modern School Vaishali conducted Yoga workshop on 20 September Fitness and yoga session for 9th and 10th aimed to eliminate the stress and depression which is highly noticed among the youngsters these days. One hour session was organized. Yogacharya, Mrs Seema Singh was invited to guide the students and motivate them for regular practice. explained the importance as well as the guidelines for yoga and meditation. EDUCATION IS A NATURAL PROCESS CARRIED OUT BY THE CHILD AND IS NOT AQUAIRED BY LISTENING TO THE WORDS BUT BY EXPERIENCES IN THE ENVIRONMENT.

3 ABOUT US In the year 1969, the Founder Visionary Sh. S.D Jain along with some philanthropists of the Jain community living in Delhi and New Delhi felt that they should establish an institution commemorating the Jainism philosophy to bring up a generation with high human values and concern for all living creatures of the earth. Digamber Jain Society for child welfare (Minority Society) was organized and registered under the SOCIETY REGISTRATION ACT XXI of 1860 and Punjab Amendment Act The society is registered under Sec -12 AA and 80 G of Income Tax Act. Since its inception, the society has undertaken and organized several projects for the welfare of children in Delhi and other states. During the International Children s year 1979, the Society further extended its activities to Faridabad and later at Noida, Vaishali and Greater Noida. Taking into consideration, the pressing educational need in the growing city of Ghaziabad, the Society gave a humble start to Modern School on the land allotted by GDA. Its name and fame grew fast.
