All the final year students, at the end of their course are evaluated in 5 different categories Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, Sports and Over all with rigorous rounds and stringent

Prasad, HR Head Tata Marcopolo and Mr. Jagdish Naik, CEO Talent Tree were the guests for the evening. The Parents meets and award ceremony is a annual event at GBS. It is common platform for the parents and GBS to witness and share the glory of the student achievers. Bhumika event is organized by GBS to award the deserving meritorious students in various specializations. The Gold and silver medals are instituted by the Board Members of GBS management. All the final year students, at the end of their course are evaluated in 5 different categories Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, Sports and Over all with rigorous rounds and stringent parameters and are declared winners for Gold and Silver medals. This was the 10 th Bhumika in a row, a total of 9 students of the batch of 2017 were awarded for the excellence in various academic and sports field by giving the medals. Mr. B.V. 2 Chief guest Mr B.V. Prasad shared the various tips for successful corporate. he gave five success mantras 1. Personal commitment, 2 Detail orientation 3.Ethics 4. Sense of humour and 5. Magnet of information and talent who attracts all stake holder to himself. Mr Jagdish Naik inspired the students aim high and achieve success. He advised not to let their parents down and to follow the ethical path in their careers which will ensure meaningful contribution to their personal and professional growth ensuring a better society. He introduced the audience to leadership through a insightful video. Dr.M.N.Manik welcomed the gathering and shared the significance of having this annual parents meet, Mr Arun and Mrs.Tejaswini introduced Mr B.V. Prasad and Mr. Jagdish Naik respectively to the audience. DrAnil Kumar Garag, Director GBS presided over the function. Bhumika Coordinator Tazeen Taj proposed vote of thanks. The Management of GBS was represented by the Sri Bharat Jain President,Sri Mahendra Kothari,Vice President, and Sri Jitesh Jain Secretary of GEN Society. All the staff members were introduced to the audience and they were felicitated by the management. Further Mr. Yogeshkumar Placement coordinator presented the placement report and handed over the offer letters through the dignitaries to the students placed in various organizations. Mrs. TazeenTaj as the Bhumika coordinator presented the brief on the selection process for the awards. A total of 73 students were short listed for the final round of personal interview by the experts to judge as winners. The jury consists of industry experts, it is a structured interview with approx 15 min for each candidate.
