God creates and a Teacher recreates... The greatest joy one can derive is from turning lives around. Nothing is as exciting and rewarding as being the cause of somebody's success. Only a teacher is bestowed with this unique gift. One correction, One advice, One Kind Word, One warning, a helping hand, one reassurance, one suggestion, one opportunity, one pat, one appreciation, one smile. That s all it takes to turn a child's life around. There was a deep sense of satisfaction that we could be a Catalyst in student s life. Indeed teachers are God's chosen Ones. I have decided to lead a life of faith, inspiration all the day I Joined Teaching Profession on Aug 2, 2007 at CL Hyderabad. I decided to work very hard towards devoting a small portion of my personal time towards making a difference to those lives which cross mine.

5 What defines me as an Individual? I believe in IMPACT - every action, everything I say or do should Create an IMPACT. I have extremely strong and unconventional convictions. My belief System is unshakable. I have to be the best in the world in teaching. It has to be EXCELLENCE at whatever I do. I don't feel I am easily replaceable. I wish to be in the top 0.1% in my profession. I am not a faceless commoner. I am truly, madly, insanely, passionately in love with whatever I do. I don't have any blues (Monday Morning or otherwise). My hobby is my profession (every class I take has my SIGNATURE creation). For the last 6 years, I have not done anything that I didn't want to do under educational space not even for five minutes. I am creative. I am driven by the ability to be creative in every single thing I do under educational space. I cannot exist 5 minutes in any job / profession that does not let me think out of the box. I give myself completely to every task I do; if I take up a task, I live, talk, breathe my task until I am completely satisfied. I am fully (personally,

6 emotionally, and intellectually) invested in the task at hand. This is because I need to be the best teacher in the world and nothing half-way will do. I have an exceptional risk appetite. The restlessness to beat myself just doesn t die. I quit my job in Infosys to pursue what I am passionate about i.e., enabling students to make their dreams come true. I am extremely well-read. I have read about 2500 (500 books on Math s alone) books in my whole life. A huge reason for my success is the fact that I am wellread. I am addicted to reading. I will read anything: newspapers, books, pamphlets, bus tickets. Anything! To me, reading is the one way I understand my environment, the people around me, their opinions, and their ideas. I have to read something new every day. I am a very quick decision maker / Emotional most of the times and am also someone who has nothing to do with either the good or the bad past. I can very quickly forget the bad past as if it never happened. I can easily look ahead. I have never taken even 5 minutes to take various decisions in life. I believe in education. I think education will be the messiah to change, not just in this country but across the world; not just academic education but education in its truest sense: meaning, self-awareness, empathy. If I could choose to do just one thing for the rest of life, I would love to educate.

7 I REFUSE to follow set patterns and conventions. I believe that there is at least one undiscovered way to solve every problem no matter how big or small and I want to be the person to find that way. I believe in my gut. I have done crazy and outrageous things simply because they have felt right. If I feel even the smallest bit of doubt about anything, I won't do it no matter how good it looks/seems/sounds. Most of the times this has worked and sometimes it has bombed. But I have not, even for a second, regretted any of my decisions. I compete only with myself. I love to raise the bar in whatever I do. Not with the whole world - be it personal or professional life. I don't want to be better than my competition: I just want to be better than my current self. I believe money should be an offshoot of whatever you do and not a driver. I believe the greatest power you can have is to influence someone. If you are able to influence people and convince them of your ideas, you have achieved much more than you would have with a large salary.

8 My Philosophy towards Life: List To be peaceful, be slow to judge and quick to forgive. Express gratitude, but do not expect gratitude. Receive gracefully and give gleefully. What you expect from others, first expect from yourself. Be dependable and not dependent. Be expressive with your love. Be demonstrative with your happiness. Rejoice the unpredictability of life. Bring some selflessness into your life. Serve in some capacity, some cause, and expecting nothing in return. Be a multi-role wonder by bringing balance into your life. When people ask me what really changed my life four years ago, I tell them that absolutely the most important thing was changing what I demanded of myself. I wrote down all the things I would no longer accept in my life, all the things I would no longer tolerate, and all the things that I aspired to becoming Passion is the genesis of genius

9 My Philosophy towards Work: We must celebrate work. Hold the sanctity of work above everything and everything else will flow into your life as natural by products. It is a true story that Dave Anderson and Jim Murphy joined American Railways on the same day. Twenty years later, Dave was still doing the same job but Jim became the Chairman of Railways. Dave said, I came to work for $1.75 an hour; Jim came to work for American Railways. That made all the difference. Work is your only salvation. Work is the only way to progress. This event is not for you if Nurturing your dream is not an obsession for you. You are not a serious aspirant aiming to top the aptitude based examinations. You are not serious about your efforts OR if you look for a quick-fix. You are aiming at mediocre job or just for a degree without the right substance. You are very very weak at Math. Certain basic aptitude in Math is expected. You don t want to go through the Copyrighted Shortcuts. There is no excuse for not finishing the homework we wouldn t want to hear any excuses: syllabus pressure, project submission, travel problem, etc. etc. PLEASE DON T REGISTER if you are not ready to do the requisite homework even for two days. We are not the best trainers / mentors for a non-serious candidate.

15 WORKSHOP REQUIREMENTS My presentations have a lot of Digital content (Pictures/PPT's /Audio clips); all of which substantiate the talk; that I am doing.

16 Here are a few pre-requisites at the venue: 1. Display/Projection Screen: Most Auditoriums in colleges are already suited for my kind of trainings. However for Seminars - the size of the white screen (on which the presentation will be beamed) should be as big as possible. At a few places- where I presented the size of the screen genuinely killed the impact of the presentation. If the number of people attending is high i.e., 2000+; please put more screens. Divide the display through a high quality visual divider. The white screen should be white & not yellow. In case the audience numbers are in thousands & my recording is being beamed across many screens; make provisions to display the presentation & me talking ; alternatively. I prefer closed auditoriums with good acoustics. Please ensure that no outside light (e.g. Sunlight) interferes with the settings inside (especially at the display points). The more compact the settings of the Auditorium the higher will be the impact of the Talk. 2. LCD Projector: I shall be carrying my own laptop. I will however be needing a good quality LCD projector. Make sure the luminosity (bulb quality) of the LCD Projector is good. 3. Digital Audio System: My presentations have loads of audio clippings. My laptop hence will need to be connected with the auditorium's sound system using an audio output cable. Presentation will be impact less; if the audio doesn t work properly. Double check the sound system!

17 Pre checking of the amplifier / speakers quality by running an audio output through any other laptop is compulsorily desired. Semi-quality speakers will not be acceptable. 4. Mike: I will be using only a Collar Mike (with two brand new backup batteries). No hand mikes please; as I shall need my hands to be free to emphasize on the points in the slides. Please pre-check the Collar Mike quality. An additional hand mike is requested in case the audience wishes to ask Questions 5. Photography/Videography: Photographing the event is OK as long as it doesn t affect my concentration. In case you wish to make a video of my Event You shall need to take a prior permission for the same. 6. My Personal requirements will be: Coffee before the start of the talk. Two Bottles of Mineral water (room temp.) 7. Attendees Requirements: Min Max 2500 students per session. 8. Mode of Communication: English and a Bit of Telugu/Hindi 9. Duration: 180mins per session, Four Sessions (Two per day) 10.Charges: FREE (Except that the classroom hand-outs should be printed by the College.)

18 11. Points to be noted: 1. Entry is free for all students. 2. Entry will not be allowed once the hall is full. 3. Please occupy the seat well in advance. 4. Late Comers will not be allowed to attend the session 5. Use of Mobile phones will not be permitted inside the auditorium. 6. Any individual identified to be a disturbance to the session will be asked to leave the Hall. 7.
