Introduction There is always more to see in what I see this statement leads me to be a lover of imaginations and leads me also to see that sun is not just only shining in this world but also singing and dancing. Imagination is one way of making my mind be healthy and be more productive in thinking. I love imaginations and because of it, theories begun to form in my mind and then, I put all those theories in my notes but now, I made it a book (You are holding it right now). In short, this book is a collection of the theories that were both created by my imaginations in life and by delighting in the Bible. Even some theory came out from delighting in God s word, I still called it a theory because I cannot provide you a 100% scripture basis of it, I can provide only a glimpse that s why I don t want also to be dogmatic in every theory. All of the theories are believe it or not idea! I will not be forcing you to believe and I will not condemn you if you will not believe, I will just simply encourage you to think about it that s why I entitled this book, Theories: It might be true. Think about it. I need thinkers who will help my school of thought Critics are very much welcome for the right direction of the journey of this ministry: God is our Joy.
That s why my main prayer to you in this book is not to convince you to believe in every theory that I am going to share but to help me by your critics in it in order for me to have a better school of thought and I am praying also that this book might fuel your zeal in thinking and imaginations. God bless your reading my friend! God gave us minds and let s enjoy it together in this book! Cohmi Coh God is our Joy Ministries
Table of Contents Theory of God s glory in Humanity Theory of Invisible Strings God is our Joy Ministries
Theory of God s Glory in Humanity This theory answers my greatest question how come God is not becoming a selfish God instead becoming a loving God when He is loving so much only His own glory to be displayed to His creatures. Scripture Based: 80 % Imaginations: 20% 7
Theory of God s Glory in Humanity God creates humanity. Among the creations, we are the special because we are the only one who can see and admire the beauty of the glory of God and find our fulfillment, satisfaction and happiness there. We are created to exist by seeing God s glory. The fullness of humanity is based on the glory of God he is beholding. Beholding fully the 100% glory of God makes human fully 100% human. And the oxygen of humanity is seeing God s glory. Humanity is a tri- being. Humanity composed of Body, Soul and Spirit. Spirit is part of the Soul. Where the Soul is, there the Spirit is. They are together but with different functions. 8
And Body is the container of the Soul/Spirit Body cannot live without the Soul/Spirit but Soul/Spirit can live without the Body that s why our life is our Soul/Spirit. And the Spirit, which is part of the Soul, is the one who see God s Glory. 9
Sprit is the means for our happiness and satisfaction. Spirit sees God s glory and we receive happiness and satisfaction. And the life of the body is based on our Spirit seeing the 100% glory of God that s why seeing God s glory is not just our happiness (but the most important is) it is our oxygen. We continue to live with an immortal body because our spirit in our soul doesn t stop seeing the 100% glory of God. In other words, the formula for the immortal body of humanity is a soul with a spirit that is beholding the 100% glory of God. 10
But when sin enters, humanity instantly died not physically but spiritually. We died not because sin kill us but because it blind us in seeing God s glory and then, through that blindness, it lead us to death. Stopping seeing God s glory is like stopping breathing it is the cause of our death. Again, it is because seeing God s glory is our oxygen! Spiritually dead doesn t mean that our spirit does not exist anymore because our spirit and our soul are immortal. Spiritually dead simply means that our spirit is separated from God s glory. Our Spirit cannot see God s glory anymore. He is dead means He is blind. When Sin enters, the beauty of God s glory never decreased. He is still a beautiful 100% Glorious God! The one who 11
change is us we become dead spiritually. That s why I believe also that God don t need the worship of humanity (humanity seeing and admiring God s glory) but we, the humanity, are the one who need to worship God. God knows that when we stop worshipping Him, He will remain a beautiful God but all of us will be dead because seeing His glory is our only oxygen. In other words, God don t need us, we need God. His great demand to humanity to worship Him is an act of His love to us and to His own glory. When God is becoming Jealous that we are admiring others rather than only Him, He is actually loving us He want us to live! When our spirit is dead (cannot see God s glory), it affects our affections. We become lonely and unsatisfied. We cannot receive because we cannot see. It affects also our physical body, our body starts to decay and will die soon because the Spirit that cannot see 100% glory of God destroy the 12
formula of an immoral body (Immortal Body = Spirit seeing the 100% glory of God) So in short, when sin enters, we are spiritually dead and will be physically dead soon. But the good news is God made a way for a humanity to live again by giving His Son, Jesus Christ, to display the glory of God here in earth so that whoever see again His glory by being born again (having new spirit) may start to live again. As heaven is about enjoying seeing God s glory, so the way to heaven is also seeing God s glory in Christ. 13
I said a while ago that the formula of having an immortal body is a Spirit that is seeing the 100% glory of God. That s why the reality today that our spirit is seeing only the glimpse of God s glory is the reason why it never cures our body from decaying - it is still a decaying and dying body. The sad truth is physical death is still inevitable to us. Whether we like it or not, we will still died physically because our spirit even can see God s glory see only glimpse of God s glory not the 100% glory of God like before. But again, the Devil who destroys our life thousand years ago knew that humanity have a change to live again by being born- again through seeing God s glory in Christ, his main job is not tempting people to do more bad but his main job is blinding the minds of people in seeing the glory of God in Christ in the Gospel. The Devil is saying, Your life is about getting money to be rich and getting influence to be popular. Your fulfillment, satisfaction and 14
happiness in life is by being successful in that career you chose in your life whether o be a doctor, engineer or nurse. That s your life! But don t misunderstand me, it doesn t mean that we should not pursue education anymore or we should hate being successful doctors and engineers now. What I mean is whatever your life is, whether your poor or rich, weak or strong, farmer or owner of big companies, whatever you do in your life, you do it as a means of enjoying seeing Gods glory. In other words, you pursue education or pursue your career to be a doctor to enjoy seeing God s glory. Your true fulfillment, happiness, and satisfaction in life can be found only in the life of beholding God s glory. I said a while ago that while we are here in earth, the glory of God that our Spirit is beholding is only a glimpse. Right? Now because our spirit can see only the glimpse of God s glory, our happiness and satisfaction is also a glimpse. While we are here in earth, the happiness we will 15
experience is also a glimpse and that glimpse is based on the glory of God that our Spirit is beholding. When we die physically, our soul/spirit that is living forever will have two destinations to stay forever. It is in heaven or in hell. Hell is created by God for punishing Satan in desiring to get the glory of God. Hell is a place of the creation of God who doesn t admire God s glory like Satan. That s why people who are spiritually dead (having a spirit that cannot see God s glory) will be in hell if they die physically here in earth. 16
But anyways, if you are thinking of hell, don t ever think of the pain of fire in it, think the pain of the opposite of the true happiness and satisfaction of a man from seeing the 100% glory of God forever it is a pain of extreme loneliness away from God s glory forever. Do you know why I am encouraging you to think that way about Hell? It is because many people today believe in Jesus to see God s glory to be saved not because they want to live a life of enjoying seeing God s glory forever but because they are afraid of being burned in hell forever. That s why don t think of hell as a painful place but think of it as a lonely place. We should not desire heaven; we should desire God the beauty of heaven and our true happiness. If hell is for the Satan and for not born- again (soul with a spirit that is not able to see God s glory anymore), heaven is for the born- again (soul with a spirit that seen God s glory in Christ) 17
And in heaven, God promises us that we are going to behold the 100% glory of God that s why we will experience also the 100% happiness and satisfaction that s why in heaven, we should not be happy because we are there but because we are seeing the 100% glory of God, the source of our perfect happiness. I mentioned a while ago that having a Spirit seeing the 100% glory of God is the formula of having an immortal body. That s why notice that the temptations of Satan to Adam and Eve is not about killing each other because on that time, both of them are impossible to die because their body is immortal because their spirit is seeing the 100% glory of God. The temptations of Satan to them is not killing each other but disobeying God to make them in the prison of sin and to make their spirit stop in seeing God s glory. 18
And as we see the 100% glory of God in the future, then, we will also have a 100% Immortal Body. (Bible called it glorified body ) That s my theory about God s glory in the humanity. I still called it a theory because I cannot provide a 100% scripture basis about this theory, I can provide you only a glimpse. 19
Theory of Invisible strings This theory answers my greatest question why many unbelievers do suicide because of their mountains of problems in their life and why some ministers are having shakable happiness especially in their ministry. Scripture Based: 5 % Imaginations: 95% 20
Theory of Invisible Strings We, humanity, are created with invisible strings. What are these invisible strings? They are something that connects us to anything (in this world or not in this world) The arrow you are seeing in the head of the person in the picture will symbolize invisible strings for this whole chapter. Your affections (especially your happiness) are always based on where your invisible strings are attached. Let us say that your invisible strings are attached to your family, cars and your future (as the pictures on the right said) If you car is destroyed or one of your family have a problem, your affections will be affected also only because of the invisible strings attached on it. 21
The reason many are having a shakable joy and happiness in their life is because of the invisible strings they have that are attached to the world. We all know the truth that the only constant word in our world is the word, change your friends are changing, your families are dying, gadgets are updating and changing, everything in this world is changing that s why our invisible strings that are attached to the changing world give us a shakable happiness sometimes we are happy and sometimes we are not! Many people especially unbelievers who experience great problems in life have first solution in mind is always suicide. Why do you think many think of suicide or death as their solution? It is because suicide will lead them to run away from their problems? Some say, yes! and that s how unbelievers think but actually no, the true reason is because when they have problems (all of invisible strings they have that are attached to the world is destroyed) and unconsciously, they have one invisible string that is attached in them that is impossible to remove. It is the in- born invisible string attached to God. Hellen Keller ( ) is my best example for you of a lady that shows man is really created with an invisible string attached to God. From the age of two, Miss Keller was blind, deaf, and without the sense of smell. After months of agonizing and fruitless attempts on the part of her teacher to 22
communicate with this young girl, a miracle occurred. One day Hellen suddenly understood the concept and meaning of running water! From this humble foundation Miss Keller built a lofty tower of thought, including the ability to use her voice in speaking. She became an educated and articulate human being. Sometime after she had progressed to the point that she could engage in conversation, she was told of God and his love in sending Christ to die on the cross. She is said to have responded with joy, I always knew He was there, but I didn t know His name! We are created with an in- born invisible string attached to God. The truth that death is the way to be with God while in this world is the reason many think of suicide. When Unbelievers (who are unconscious that he has a one in- born invisible string attached to God) lose all his invisible strings attached to 23
his cars, business, etc., they always think of suicide but actually, they think not suicide but they think (blindly) God! To the unbelievers, their in- born invisible string attached to God is suicide. When believers (who recognize God in their life) experience problems, they desire to God. Why? Again, it is because of the in- born invisible string they have attached to God! When Psalmist is experiencing a lot of problems in Psalm 42, he said the famous verse we know: As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? (Psalm 42:1-2) 24
Because of the in- born invisible string attached to God, to the believers, brokenness leads them to desire God but to the unbelievers, brokenness leads them to desire suicide which actually what they really desire is God, they are just blind of it! That s why if unbelievers will not be blind, I believe that they will say, Oh no! It s not the suicide that I am desiring, it s God that I am desiring! Thousand years ago, great philosopher named Diagones said, you have the most when you are content to the least It means, you are the happiest in the world when you learn to be content to the least He is actually saying, you are the happiest when you cut all your invisible string attached to the world The way Diagones cut his invisible strings attached to the world is very extreme he literally removes it in this life. 25
He lives a life of poverty in streets because he believes that when he is away from worldly things or he don t have it, invisible strings will never be attached on it. But actually, the truth is you have things in this world in your life and at the same time, your invisible strings are not attached on it. That s why you don t need to remove them if you don t want your happiness shaking (or as Diagones said, you want to be the happiest ) you just need to remove the attachment of your invisible strings on it. Every time you began longing to have gadget or you suddenly become sad by having no gadget, it simply means that your invisible string is trying to be attached on it that s why as soon as possible, cut it down quickly! 26
The best life you can live (man whose happiness is not shaking and have peace all the time) while in this world is to remove all the attachment of your invisible strings in this changing world and recognize only your in- born invisible string that is attached only in God. God will never change that s why your happiness will not be a shakable happiness if the invisible string you have is attached only in God and other invisible strings are never attached in anything in this world. And actually, this theory of invisible strings also gives me the answer to the common sickness of every minister (including me) shaking and losing their joy in serving God in the ministry. Many pastors have their invisible strings attached on their ministry rather than on God alone that s why no doubt that they have shakable happiness because even results of ministries are not always the same they are also changing. Pastors starts to become a frustrated pastor when he let his invisible string even not attached to the world but attached to other things that is 27
also changing like the result of preaching, result of church growth, result of ministry, and etc. The best life that Pastor can live is to enjoy preaching, enjoy doing responsibility in the Church and doing his ministry but his invisible strings are never attached on it (especially on the results of it) but attached only in God. 28
The birth of God is our only Joy ministry is when God gave Cohmi Coh a grace of radical joy of writing as a means of enjoying knowing Him more that s why this ministry is existing only to write free books for all of people to spread the truth that "Jesus died in the cross so that God will become our only joy all the days of our life.
