That's what played when I called the number Harry gave me, so I know it is the right number. Hey, Harry, it's Rob. I'm just calling to let you know I'm ready for the job on Tuesday. I know you wanted us to call on this number because it's untraceable. I'll be in the lockup at 6:00 in the morning to talk about it. I'll see ya. Yo Harry it's Richie. I just wanted to let you know I'll be ready for the job Wednesday, or Tuesday.whichever day you made it. I got some of that good stuff to smoke afterward, so there it is. You gave me a number to call, but I lost it, so I called your cell. Hit me up if you want to go to the bar tomorrow. See ya, Harry, it's Will. I'm all set for the job Tuesday. I gotta get to church though, so I'll holler at you later. Peace, It makes a little more sense to actually pick up the phone when you want us to call doesn't it? Whatever, it's Daryl. I'm ready for the score on Tuesday. Call me on this phone if you need me. I'll be in the lockup with Rob tonight with a twelve pack if you want to join. Up to you, No new messages.

2 The Heist (Big L 2000) Go, Go, Go, the vault s open! Daryl yelled as he tossed over a duffle bag. There were hundreds of burning hundred dollar bills flying everywhere after the blast. We all ran into the room. We re not on the police radar yet, so we have plenty of time boys, Will confirmed. I ll holler if there's chatter. All of us were armed with pistols, but Harry had a shotgun just in case the whole process goes south. Daddy needs a new pair of shoes! Harry said with a grin from ear to ear. We grabbed stacks and stacks of hundreds, tossing them into the duffle bags. Will was behind the counter insuring all the cameras were off and the police were still unaware. Daryl kept a police scanner up in the vault in case Will couldn't do his job. That s a wrap boys, let s get out of here, I told everyone. We headed out to the truck out front after closing up the vault and reactivating the cameras. Sirens! Will What the hell!? Daryl yelled. Not for us. We do need to hurry they are headed out to South Point Gas station, Will responded. We got to the truck, and everyone entered. I looked at the building and it read South Point Trust. Richie. I'm gonna need you to gas it, now, I scolded. Richie accelerated, pedal to the metal. What are you gonna buy with your cut Daryl? Will asked him. I'm gonna buy some duct tape so you keep your mouth shut bud, get a hint

3 How did it go? Richie said. Daryl replied, Richie, we made money. How s that? Good thing you didn't leave your attitude behind I thought I would miss it, Richie concluded. When we got back to the lockup, a big warehouse where equipment would go if we had any, and where we hangout, we pulled the truck in and counted our earnings. It was normally split evenly, but sometimes greed got to the best of us. Someone claims they worked harder for it, and all hell breaks loose. Usually it was Daryl that does that, but not this time. Everyone got their share of five thousand and change. It was one of the biggest jobs we ever had. Harold stepped up onto a table in the middle of the lockup and announced, Alright boys. The money in your hands wasn't stolen. You were all given this money, earned it. Your blood, sweat, and tears were all put into this money. Now let's all celebrate while we wait for the next hit on a job, The massive empty lockup warehouse exploded with the chants from the five of us. Daryl walks over and opens the fridge. A lonely beat up white ice box on a wall consisting of nothing but broken stained-glass on a dusty floor. He reaches in, grabs a massive bottle of champagne and kicks the door closed. The bottle popped open, launching the cork and leaving a foam trail on the floor. To taking money from the man! Daryl yelled. To taking money from the man! everyone yelled

4 Notorious Thugs (Notorious B.I.G and Bone Thugs Harmony 1997) Six months of planning went into that last job. It was the craziest thing we have ever done as a crew, and we played it so well. If it wasn't for this right here, you would have thought we were as experienced as some of the most notorious thugs. Harry decided our best shot was that small town bank. It had been robbed twice in the past, both successful with no arrests. If we are being serious, I thought for sure I was making a deal with a funeral home or a county prison when I said I would do the job. I guess that deal was canceled. I liked being alone, separated from the crew. Often times that meant sitting in this warehouse all the time. Robbie. Still in that journal huh? Will said as he walked toward me. I was sitting in a white lawn chair, and there was a beer on the floor that was half full and still frosty. I sat up in my chair, and closed my journal, slipping my pen into my pocket. Yeah, I grunted, What's up? I was thinking. Maybe with the money we scored on the last job, we should put something into that little office are over there. You know, maybe a computer space, so I can actually learn to hack things a little better, Will wondered. I mean, I'm all for it. You just gotta get Harry on board. If it benefits the team for you to get better at it, I'm assuming he will say yes, I muttered. Alright. I'll ask him when he's off duty, Will said. Will walked away, looking for Harry in his beat up white t-shirt and khakis. I reached down and grabbed the frosty beer with my right hand and took a drink, thinking about what we are going to do next. I sat alone in the warehouse we called the lockup, dusty concrete floors, broken windows

5 twenty feet up and then some, and a massive truck that Richie has had for the past two years that he inherited from his grandfather before he passed. We were broke, and everyone knew it, but South Point paid out well. Ten thousand for each person if split evenly, and It was going toward food for all of us, and potential equipment for the next one. We aren't even sure if there will be a next one, but possibilities are endless. There was a ringing in my ear, and I knew well that the prehistoric box TV on the wall ten feet in front of me was on, and what I saw scared the hell out of me. The robbery made national news, but there was no inside footage thanks to Will. The door behind me opened, and four friendly faces rushed into the lockup. Is this the news? Harry wondered as he came closer. Yeah, no footage, no names. They are clueless boss, I replied. An obvious grin appeared on Harry s face. Reports are showing there are no numbers of people involved, names, or faces available for this robbery, making it very difficult for county officials to catch these professionals. She just said professionals! I nearly screamed. The warehouse filled with our yells. Suddenly the door opened yet again, and it was none other than Sam. Sam knew everyone in the group very well, but hasn't been involved with any planning we have.

6 Sam had rich plastered all over him, designer shirts, nice cars, hot girls, everything you would expect. The only things Sam was aware of, was what we did and where. He owns the lockup, and checks in every once in a while to see what we are doing. National news boys! That's what I'm talking about! Sam exclaimed. Yeah baby! Will replied, with the same amount of enthusiasm. What's next on the agenda? Sam wondered. I think we deserve some fun. I have a few things in mind, Harry said to him as they shook hands. Well you do that. I have to be on my way to a meeting, so I'll be seeing you. Congratulations boys, Sam said as he walked out, slamming the beat up white door. We sat and watched the TV for a few moments before anyone spoke. What is this idea of fun you have Harry? Daryl questioned. We are going to hit the streets. I have targets written on the whiteboard in my office, Harry replied, smile on his face. He then walked over to his ten by ten office, and showed us what he was talking about. First Target, James Randall. He drives a white 2008 Mustang GT with modifications you can't find on the streets around here. He is age twenty-four, and his common location is the West Peak gas station. He is also seen on I-22, so we will likely meet him there. There is no known occupation for James, but he hangs out at that gas station ordinarily on Saturdays, Harry exclaimed. Can't trust a guy with two first names Will muttered. Chuckles came from the rest of us.

7 Second Target, Vladimir Popov. He drives a brand-new blue GS Lex. He is a businessman from overseas here visiting. He s forty-three, and the car is parked in the St. George business center in Carson Hills. This guy is the furthest away from home, So I will have to do some magic to get it here, Harry continued. We all stood in a half circle nodding our heads in agreement. Third Target, A Mister Steven Hampton. He drives himself a heavily modified, black 1998 Toyota Supra. You may be thinking, why is this vehicle so important? That is because it has outrun our police cruisers in every chase it has been involved with. Possibly the fastest car in town. Carl is one of the most notorious street racers in this city. He is thirty-one, and from my observations in the cruiser, he is a frequent flier around our town. He will be the trickiest target, Harry went on. Richie had stars in his eyes, he had dreams of a car like that since he was twelve. So... So what is the plan with these cars? Richie asked. Here's why this is fun, we're changing the titles and plates on them all. These will be our cars, Harry explained. Jaws dropped, and Harry continued to smile. Who knew so much happiness could come out of a small office with five guys and a whiteboard.
