1 Married Love Counseling for Couples Based on the Teaching of the Ascended Masters The Circle of Love for the Exchange of Sacred Fire in Marriage The exchange of the sacred fire between man and woman is hallowed in marriage. When husband and wife come together intimately, it is a sublime act of creation, whether or not a child is conceived. Sharing love helps both partners to be more creative in their daily routine and to meet constructively the challenges of day-to-day life and the working out of their karma. The Creator has sanctified human marriage as a circle of protection for sons and daughters of God. Marriage that is so consecrated is blessed by offspring and the offspring of the mind and the heart mutual creations of the Spirit that bless all life. We know that Jesus performed his first miracle at the marriage of Cana of Galilee. When protected by the great circle of God, sex is not sinful, if it is revered as the sacred fire of the Divine Mother and is so respected. Divine Love that is shared at all levels of the chakras is the giving and receiving of the masculine and feminine elements in man and woman. It offers a foretaste to husband and wife of that wholeness the soul shall realize when she is ultimately bonded to her Lord. The Ritual of the Archangels The archangels of love have released a simple but profound ritual for the protection of married love. It is based upon the ritual practiced by the angels at the rising and setting of the sun, when the torch of love is passed by the angels of the dusk to the angels of the dawn and back again. This ritual is also a ritual of the soul s reunion with the I AM Presence. It helps if you have the Chart of Your Divine Self in your home as a focus of light. The ritual is as follows: Stand together facing the Chart of the I AM Presence and make your inner attunement with the star of your divinity. Meditate upon your heart and the flame therein and behold the arc ascend into the center of the I AM Presence. Now take your right hand and dip it symbolically into the fires of your heart and draw the circle of oneness around yourselves as you stand in adoration of the One Light. Visualize a circle, twelve feet in diameter, as a line of sacred fire around you both. It is your ring-pass-not. Within that circle of oneness is the forcefield of Alpha and Omega, the Father Mother God; and you focus the T'ai chi, the plus and minus of cosmic energies, where you are. Many couples give this simple ritual often, even daily. This circle of love can also be given by unmarried devotees to celebrate their oneness with their God presence and with the twin flame. Married couples also give this ritual before the intimacy of married love. They may accompany it with holy prayer. Some also choose to reinforce the circle of love with the tube of light, mantras to Archangel Michael to protect their perfect union, and violet Copyright Church Universal and Triumphant

2 flame decrees to cleanse and purify the circle of oneness within and without. 1 The tube of light seals the forcefield and any misqualified energy within the forcefield. The calls to Archangel Michael are for the protection from all that is less than God perfection in the sacred flow of energy between man and woman. The decrees to the violet flame are for the transmutation of all misqualified energy in the lower chakras, particularly any energy connected with sexual intercourse and untransmuted desires. This ritual of decrees prevents the amplification of any untransmuted momentums of past misuses of the sacred fire, prevents the energy burdening others, seals the exchange of energy and preserves the sanctity and privacy of the ritual. It helps you jointly transmute the electronic belt substance and the exchange of emotional energy in the lower chakras. Meditation on the Circle of Oneness When you meditate upon this circle of love you will find that it is a circle of white fire and blue fire of Alpha and Omega. And nothing can penetrate the circle of love. Why? Because the circle is whirling it contains the whirling action of the sacred fire. A sphere that is whirling cannot be penetrated. It is whirling so fast that the energy emitted from it repels anything that attempts to penetrate it. This visualization is a profound meditation and a definition of the love that you share in marriage or the love that you share with God. Day by day, your love must be at that point of intensity of the whirling action of the sacred fire. Without it your defenses will be down and there will not be the whirling action of your sun center. It will grind to a halt and then it becomes totally vulnerable. The archangels teach us that love must be the intensity of creative fires. It must be a burning in your heart of love for God or of love for the beloved on earth or of love for the twin flame. When you stand before the Presence of God within, your own Mighty I AM Presence, and make this invocation and go through this ritual, you are celebrating this hallowed union of yourself and your twin flame, the marriage made in heaven. That forcefield must be set and it must be sealed. The Balance of Love in Marriage Some have wondered from a spiritual perspective what is normal and what is excessive in the intimacy of the marriage relationship. Each couple must find their own balance. The normal ebb and flow of the demands of life will also dictate the frequency of intimate relations between man and wife. What is important is to be considerate and thoughtful of one another, while not depriving one another of conjugal love, unless mutually agreed upon. Ultimately it is the free will of the individual. The masters in heaven never interfere with the personal life of their students unless asked. In response to specific questions from those who have wished to dedicate themselves to the work of the Brotherhood of Light in a more than ordinary way, the beloved master El Morya has given instruction concerning the frequency of the exchange of the sacred fire in marriage. 1 Married couples may wish to use the following recommended decrees prior to the marriage union: Decree 0.01 Tube of Light (3x), Decree to Archangel Michael, (14x) and Decree I AM the Violet Flame (36x). 3 You and your spouse may or may not decide to apply these guidelines in your life. Whether or not you do, it is entirely your own private business. The Ascended Master El Morya has taught his chelas who have asked him the question, "What should be the frequency or non frequency of sex in a marriage if souls are making the victory of the ascension their goal?" El Morya recommends that the intimacy of the marriage ritual should not be practiced more than twice a week by those who have set the goal of attaining their ascension in this life. (The Master has explained that a greater frequency would drain too much of that sacred fire for sexual purposes and thereby not leave enough to weave the Deathless Solar Body.) It is interesting that surveys have shown that this figure is actually the national average. [This guideline is intended for after the honeymoon period and does not apply during the honeymoon.] This guideline has served many married couples well, particularly those who desire, first and foremost, to obtain union with God. The spiritual life is all-important to them, and discipleship under Jesus Christ is their reason for being. Such couples have felt blessed that they can combine the best of both worlds a celibate path, when they mutually desire to have it for periods of spiritual communion, and a normal married life when they so choose. Perversions of the Sacred Fire Many people on earth today do not realize that some forms of sexual activity do not contribute to the upliftment of man and woman. Oral sex falls into this category. Oral sex is when the genitals of one partner come into contact with the mouth of the other partner, connecting the upper chakras with the lower chakras, specifically the throat chakra with the base of the spine. Each chakra has its purpose according to the original divine intent. The upper chakras are the centers of spirit; the lower chakras are the centers of matter. The throat chakra is the center that has the greatest power. The blue ray is anchored in the throat chakra its intended use is for correct speech, for prayer and affirmation, for praising God and uplifting our fellow man. Viewed energetically, when the throat chakra is placed in proximity with the base chakra, the beautiful blue flame of the throat is impinged upon and becomes perverted. This inverted juxtaposition of the chakras, or inverted sex, is actually a violation of the flow of the energy in the chakras, in complete opposite to the natural flow of energy in the body. It debases the light of the Higher Self, and causes a great loss of light in the aura. Those who have spiritual sensitivity can see this loss of light in the aura of those who participate in oral sex. For this reason, the angels or masters in heaven cannot sponsor or approve of oral sex, and they wish that mankind did not partake of it. This is a difficult message and people may not like to hear this teaching, precisely because oral sex is often a more stimulating form of sex, particularly for the male partner. And here is the dilemma. There is a greater release of light in oral sex, and this amounts to a greater loss of light in the practice. Over a period of a lifetime, this squandering of the life-force can result in the loss of opportunity for the soul to attain the ascension in this embodiment. It creates a karma that needs to be balanced sometime and somewhere. Mankind would do better, if we knew better. When we truly understood the cycles and the cosmic rhythm of the flow of light and love between those who love each other, Copyright Church Universal and Triumphant

4 we will know that our love does not require this practice. If we desire to be free, the best way to out of the dilemma, is to discontinue the practice. We can then use the violet flame to balance the karma of the misuse of the throat chakra and reverse the energetic effects. With diligent application of the violet flame, we can again be back on course. Marriage and One s Personal Psychology Marriage is the movement of the cloven tongues of the fire of the Holy Spirit. When you look into the physical fire, you can never capture the flame and say, this is the shape of the flame. The flame is continually moving and taking on the different characteristics of God. When one flame takes shape the other molds itself around the other as they change and leap and grow. The flames symbolize the relationship between husband and wife in marriage. It is never static but constantly changing. A healthy psychological relationship in marriage is the basis for truly fulfilling one's emotional, sexual and intellectual needs for stimulation. A partnership can only be successful if one is willing to deal with oneself first. Marriage then becomes the lawful means God has provided for a relationship of commitment and honor and the fullest expression of love as procreation and creation. Making Love What Happens Spiritually Love and marriage go together. Marriage provides a circle of protection for the love between man and woman. Within the hallowed circle of marriage, the exchange of the Causal Bodies of the couple in love, can take place. Spiritually speaking, there is an exchange of energy during intercourse or making love as it is called. There is a connection chakra to chakra. Energy is released during orgasm and electronic belt patterns are also exchanged. Often this is the only thing that is exchanged versus the exchange of Causal Bodies that should be taking place. The fact is, you take on or take within you a little piece of everyone you sleep with. Even more importantly, you take in a little piece of every person they have slept with too. That is why many people today find a sense of confusion about love and about their relationships. They literally have a whirlwind inside of them. During intercourse what actually occurs is the descent and ascent of the kundalini energy. The energies of the upper chakras (Spirit) descend to water the lower chakras. The energy is released in the base chakra and the energy rises again. The energy that rises is the energy of the Mother that then waters the upper chakras, going up through the crown in the pattern of the shepherd s crook to anchor in the third eye. The entire ritual becomes an adoration to God, the love which also determines the action and interchange of energies. The welling up of love within brings everything else into divine order. In preparation for the interchange you draw the energies of the base and the crown into the heart, fusing them in the center of the Christ, in preparation for the descent and the ascent. You bring them to the heart by love by love for one another for the qualities of love that you recognize in one another, and by compassion in bearing one another s karmic burdens. This love then is a sacred fire that also transmutes a portion of karma, just as it is transmuted by the giving of the violet flame. This burning love in the heart is actually what precipitates sexual union. It is not the attraction of the senses or the desire for a sensual experience. 5 Christ now centered in the heart is now so intense that it precipitates the union and the desire for the union. And it creates the spontaneity and joy of the relationship. During sexual union therefore there can be the release of the energies of the heart, lowering to the base and then raising again. When this spiritual exercise becomes the goal of your union, all other aspects on the material plane are fulfilled, and the fulfillment is heightened by the fact that the spiritual counterpart is present. When this spiritual component is present then there is fusion of the Causal Bodies of the man and the woman, and the lowering into manifestation of the divine plan and the divine pattern. So how do you put this all together and have an enjoyable experience while you are thinking about all of these things? It is like playing the piano you must learn the notes and practice. And do not feel frustrated if you are not doing everything right all at once, the first time. An important conclusion to this union is the return of the energy to the upper chakras. Most people just leave the energy there in their base chakra, whether or not they have had an orgasm. Therefore it is well following the sexual union to enter into a short period of meditation upon the third eye to return the energy to the upper chakras. In silence, you meditate upon your third eye and feel as if it is a magnet, pulling all of the energy of your body to that point. It is helpful to visualize a small triangle over the third eye and see all of the energies of your being move to that triangle. Visualize with your mind the energies traveling from the tips of your toes and fingers, up the legs and arms, all the way along your body to the third eye. You can do this meditation as you go to sleep; it relaxes the whole body. If there is any uncomfortability in the third eye then meditate on the stars, the star of your presence, on the God star Sirius, on Venus, on the sun or other lofty visualizations. When this meditation and conclusion to the sexual union occurs, the energies have gone in a complete circle, putting the fires of the Mother and the Father through the whole body, so that the body is watered and nourished with the light of the sacred fire. This produces an action of renewal that inspires creativity, buoyancy and liveliness, and often people who have a good sexual relationship are youthful and alive because their energies are in a state of flow. With this meditation, instead of the energies being lost in the action of the sexual union, some of that energy, even up to 80 percent, can be returned to the third eye. This can also help to prevent the feeling of being depleted, tired or drained the day after sexual intercourse. (Sometimes so much energy is spent on preparation for sex or on sex itself or on bringing about an orgasm that there is nothing left to rise. The depleted feeling can also be due to greater frequency of intercourse, fatigue, or lack of spiritual preparation.) If you are concerned about the loss of energy in the chakras, you can also call to the masters of light and ask them to adjust the amount of energy that is lowered during the sexual union. They can help to seal the energy and see to it that not too much energy is taken from the chakras in the sexual union. When the couple truly love one another, they will naturally care for one another s welfare and will desire to please one another in the marriage union and consider one another s wishes. 6 nor is it necessary for the man and woman to reach orgasm simultaneously. In either case the meditation on raising the energy can still be given. The spiritualization of the marriage ritual is a necessary component of our ascension. It can be the alchemy that enables you to transcend the sexual union. The flame of the Christ gives the whole union the impetus of love that makes it alive, and the mastery of the return of the energy gives a more complete spiritual fulfillment. People who have been involved in perverted sex in the past may be required by the law of their own being to maintain celibacy, sometimes for a period of time. This depends on the karma and how the sexual energies have been used in past embodiments. The masters have taught for centuries that the way of celibacy is a superior path. However one should be able to live a happily married life and have sex in moderation and have just as much light as the person who is celibate. This may also come in cycles. Like eating a certain kind of food, when you have had your fill you may not want it again for a while. When couples have been separated for periods of time, raising the energy on the spine will eliminate the desire. If there is no accumulation of energy in the lower chakras, there is no accumulation of desire except the mental desire. The mental body can play a large part in the desire for sexual activity. The body elemental of the man may also take care of the body by adjusting the functions of the body through the release of seminal fluid known as nocturnal emissions. The husband can call to his body elemental to make adjustments, with the overshadowing of the Holy Christ Self. Husband and wife can help one another balance these energies, so that there is a purity and elevation in consciousness. Each one helps the other to raise their energies. At the same time, they may have a balance of sexual activity to maintain an equilibrium and mastery over the sudden spurts of energy. If the couple concludes their sexual union with the meditation on the third eye until they feel the ascent of energies from the lower chakras to the upper chakras, then there is a sealing action whereby all energy released is drawn up through the heart, and transmuted and anchored in the third eye for greater vision of the glory of God through the communion of love. All Things in Divine Order In the exchange of the marriage ritual, there ought to be the same flow between the chakras, if your meditation is full. The flow of the energies of the Father/Mother God between husband and wife should be at the level of every chakra. But in today s world, we are not taught to experience this union in all of our chakras. Instead we are taught the world's concept of sex and sensuality which centers on the lower chakras. When we have the intimate union in marriage, we ought to have the experience of God in all of the chakras for the reestablishment of the divine polarity in each individual. This is what love in marriage should be. It is the commemoration of our communion in the Holy Spirit. Now this exchange may or may not be accompanied by the intimacy of the sexual union. It may take place in any one of the relationships between God and God that we experience in marriage. It has infinite flexibility and potential and experience, and is not confined in the least, nor should it be circumscribed by sex, nor should sex be considered the ultimate fulfillment of marriage. 7 We have many centers of God-awareness and an ongoing relationship over many years of experience together as husband and wife. We therefore find that as we grow together in God, we reach the point of fulfillment in different ways, in different chakras until the bliss of the divine union may be an entirely difference experience than one we had ever contemplated could be possible between two people. We are spiritual beings and we can transcend the world s concept of marriage. So let us be very careful that the world's concept of what we are supposed to be finding as bliss in marriage does not become our standard, because we cannot help but be disappointed. We cannot expect that a mere physical relationship will fulfill the need for our exaltation in the planes of consciousness: the first, the second, the third, the fourth, and the fifth heaven described by the great prophets, by Elijah, by Enoch, as they ascended in successive planes of consciousness. For example, when we go to sleep at night, the soul passes out of the physical body, clothed in the finer bodies and under the protection of Archangel Michael. At this time, the husband, wife and all of the children may go hand in hand as a family to the retreats of the heaven world. This exhilarating and fulfilling experience is another aspect of the bliss of the divine union, one of the fruits of marriage and family that we do not even hear about in the world today. Planning Our Families and the Use of Birth Control Although birth control is a personal and private matter, some have wondered if heaven has anything to say about it. From a spiritual perspective it is certainly permissible to use contraception. We should plan our families and not bring into the world any more children than we are able to care for and for whom we can adequately express our love. Spiritually speaking, birth control should begin before conception. Abortion should never be considered a form of birth control. Bringing forth a child is a sacred responsibility, and birth control is a private matter. Family planning and the use of contraceptives are necessary and important, and better and better methods of birth control are available. Choose those that do not harm the mother. Look also to those methods that are safe and effective. Virtually all barrier methods of contraception including the condom, the cervical cap, the diaphragm and spermicidal foams and gels are all acceptable to the ascended masters. They are concerned about those methods that such as the oral contraceptive pill, the intrauterine contraceptive device and other chemical methods that might be or are harmful to the body of the woman. The choice for sterilization also warrants careful deliberation as it is considered medically to be a permanent choice. It is difficult and expensive for the procedure to be reversed when performed on women. Even in men, there are no guarantees of success of reversal. After medical consultation, one should consider the choices very carefully as sterilization is usually considered to be a final step. You might also consider, as painful as it may be, how you would feel about sterilization if, God forbid, you lost one or more of your children. You may then think differently about having such a permanent procedure performed. In these uncertain times, these may be serious questions to consider.
