The Indian came originally from Asia, but not across a land connection as some geologists believe. Hiding in the caves to escape the great vibration that was changing the surface of the earth, several tribes of the early Asiatics, descended into deep passages and after months and perhaps even years of time, they finally emerged on the American continent. Proof of this we find in many of the Indian Legends. The Tonkawas still celebrate this The Delaware Indians say, "Mankind was once buried in the earth with a wolf; and they owed their release to the wolf, who scratched away the soil and dug out a means of escape for the man and himself." 14 Rnotketkood Dear Students and '/rlends: Rev. William Miner had charge of the Sunday evening Services at seven o'clock. He spoke on Mental and Spiritual Attitudes towards Life. His message was inspirational and informative. There will be no Temple Services on the 24th and 31st of December or no Wednesday evening Class on the 27th of December, There will be Classes and Sunday evening lectures at all other regularly scheduled times, with the weather and road conditions permitting. Let me again remind you that the Annual Christmas Party for members and their guests will be held Saturday, December 23, 1972, beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Administration Building in Shamballa. It will be a potluck dinner, with each family bringing a covered dish and a dessert. The dinner will be followed by a program put on by our many talented students. The Shamballa Board promises that Santa Claus will be there with treats for the children. Let's not forget the Volunteer Work Program on December 17 at 1:00 p.m. in the Administration Building for cleaning and decorating for the Christmas Party.

15 Any out-of-town members who can make it to the Christmas Party will surely be most welcome. We certainly enjoyed our visit with Dr. David S. Williams last Friday afternoon. Dr. Williams, who has been a Brotherhood Member since 1953, is from St. Vincent in the Windward Islands. He commented on the deep snow and the cold weather, saying it was his first experience with snow, but he seemed to enjoy his visit in spite of the weather conditions. Please remember if you wish your book orders air mailed to include air mail postage. If you wish first class mail for your lessons, please include the extra monthly amount for first class postage. We do not have a book on "The Seven Earth Cycles" which some of you have written in asking for. However, there is a short resume on the earth cycles in the "Interpretation of Revelations" by Dr. Doreal. Also there is information given on the Earth Cycles in the book titled "Cosmogony and Cosmology" by Dr. Doreal.
