"The secret to invite happiness and the mysterious remedy for all disease." Just for today: Do not get mad. Do not worry. Be grateful. Work hard. Be kind to others. Usui Reiki Ryoho Gokai Page 2

An important clarification: The information provided in this manual is based on the author's practical experience, as well as on the thousand-year-old background of Reiki. Although this does not replace in any case the need to visit a doctor or specialist. Nor does it substitute any medical treatment. Reiki therapy can be received by all human beings (healthy adults, sick people, pregnant women, children and babies), including animals and plants. It is a complementary therapy to conventional medicine and psychological therapies recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO). Currently the teaching and practice of Reiki is awaiting legislation that regulates it, so for now it is considered a non-regulated physical-sport activity, of a playful, educational and social nature, valid within the scope of the Associations and cultural Federations and their teachings have no official character. 7 INTRODUCTION Dear Reikidoka: The Visual Guide of Reiki that you have before you, is born from the idea of grouping the small guides that I use in my Reiki courses; It is a fantastic support with photos and explanatory texts that make the study and practice of Reiki easier for my students. And if it helps them, I am sure that you will also find it useful. This first version of the Visual Guide of Reiki took a year to elaborate (photos, texts and layout), I appreciate the disinterested help of students and friends; and it is because of that selfless help, the decision to distribute it free of charge. I hope it reaches the maximum number of people and that it will be useful for all; teachers, students, therapists, practitioners and curious. Years ago, a Reiki teacher gave me advice: practice, practice, practice. I always advise my students: study and practice, study and practice, study and practice... I assure you that there is no other way to advance in the practice of Reiki. Receive a big hug of light and love. José Ángel Niño Cámara Page 7

PREPARATION AND ACTIVATION OF REIKI Below I detail the entire procedure (steps) to activate Reiki, either for selftreatment or treatment to third parties, both chair and stretcher. You already know that, in our school, we teach Japanese Reiki and try to get closer to the most original version of Usui Sensei. The right thing to do before starting is a Japanese greeting, OS! It is a gesture of respect to the teacher, the practitioner and the space in which we practice. Next, we pronounce the Reiki (Gokai) principles 3 times: Kyo Dake Wa Okoru Na Shinpai Suna Kansha Site Goo Hage Me Hito Ni Shinsetsu Ni Gassho! 1.- Gassho Position: We put our hands together (mudra gassho or mudra of love) at the height of the 4th chakra (heart) and meditate a few minutes focusing on the present moment, here and now. In this position we unite the two hemispheres of the body, connect the entire meridian system, and balance our entire inner and outer energy field. For Usui Sensei this position was very important. Page 8

2.- Tree Position: In this position we use the imagination, visualizing: First, how roots come from our feet connecting with the earth and nourishing us with energy. Second, as branches leave our arms and hands connecting with the sky and nourishing us with energy. It is a very energetic position and reminds us of the ChiKung, in its position to hold the sky. 3.- Petition Position: We place the right hand in the 6th anterior chakra (front) and the left in the occipital bone. In this position we will make a prayer or request, for example: I request energy from the spirit of Reiki, I ask for protection from my spiritual guide and my superior being, and I appeal to the ascended masters; Usui, Chujiro and Takata, to guide me in practice. According to the Reiki Gakkai Japan this practice is open, you can invent the prayer or petition that best suits what you feel. And we return to Gassho position in 4th chakra (heart). We take a few seconds to feel our connection with the energy. Page 9

4.- Gassho position in third eye: In the previous Gassho position we raise our hands to the 6th chakra, front or third eye. It is a position of respect for the deities; in Buddhism it is done by entering a temple or spiritual place. In this position, we extend the thumbs in contact with the 6th chakra; this allows us to channel energy through it. This position is not found in any Reiki book or in the practices of Usui Sensei: it is an optional position, but I recommend it for its energetic potential. And we return to Gassho position in 4th chakra (heart). Page 10

5.- Stimulate 7th Chakra: This exercise is done in the Yoga of Dreams, it belongs to the Tantric Tibetan Buddhist tradition. (The Yoga of Dreams is a very important practice in Buddhism and is within Traditional Tibetan Medicine.) Starting from the Gassho position, we raise one hand to the 7th chakra and perform 3 movements in a circle (sweeping gesture). We return to Gassho position, raise the other hand and return to perform the stimulation exercise. This exercise is not taught in Reiki courses but I usually do it before a therapy or initiation. And we finished in Gassho position. Now we start to prepare our hands and activate Reiki... Page 11

6.- Preparing the hands: We can stimulate and enhance the chakra of each hand with this simple exercise. Concentrated in the sensations of the hands, we are going to join them and separating them slowly. In a few seconds we can feel the energy of the chakras of the hands. 7.- Ninja Dragon Ki technique: This technique allows us to enhance the energy of the chakras of the hands. We execute the sword mudra with the right hand. And pointing on the palm of the left hand. We turn the mudra 9 times to the left. And 9 times to the right. Now with the other hand... We execute the sword mudra with the left hand. And pointing on the palm of the right hand. We turn the mudra 9 times to the left. And 9 times to the right. Page 12

And we finished the Ninja Dragon Ki technique. 8.- We continue preparing our hands: We execute the Kubera mudra with the right hand. And we hit 3 times the center of the left hand pronouncing the word Reiki at the same time. Reiki, Reiki, Reiki. Next we execute the exercise with the left hand on the right in the same way. Reiki, Reiki, Reiki. Page 13

9.- We draw symbols in both hands: For the Level 1 Reiki practitioner: We execute with one hand the mudra sword and on the other we draw the symbol: CHO-KU-REI, pronouncing it 3 times. For the Reiki practitioner Level 2: We execute with one hand the mudra sword and on the other we draw the symbol: CHO-KU-REI, SEI-HE-KI pronouncing them 3 times. It is optional to seal the process with another CHO-KU-REI. For the Level 3 Reiki practitioner: We execute with one hand the sword mudra and on the other we draw the symbol: CHO-KU-REI, SEI-HE-KI and DAI-KO-MYO pronouncing them 3 times. It is optional to seal the process with CHO-KU-REI. Page 14

10.- Slap on the air: We slap the air at the height of the 7th chakra and rub our hands back to Gassho position. We can now start self-treatment of Reiki or treatment to third parties, in a chair or on a stretcher. GASSHO!!! I am here, You are here. This is a very important meeting, I believe. "When there is THIS, then THAT begins to exist; with the appearance of THIS, THAT appears. When there is no THIS, THAT does not begin to exist; with the cessation of THIS, THAT ceases. " Gassho! Hyakuten Inamoto Komyo Reiki Kay Founder Note: This ritual of preparation for the practice of Reiki is not necessary to do it as indicated, you can adapt it to your feeling, but keep in mind that, any discipline has its own preparation before practice. Page 15

SELF-TREATMENT OF REIKI (Basic) Below I detail the entire procedure (steps) for a Reiki self-treatment chair. If you are a level 1 Reiki practitioner, I recommend that you practice the most basic steps; Give Reiki to the chakras (this section). Making too many positions at the beginning can make you lose trying to memorize many positions and not be attentive to the experience. If you are a level 2 or 3 Reiki practitioner, I recommend you practice the most advanced steps (next section). In many Reiki books you will find Self- Treatments with many more positions that you can incorporate as you progress in Reiki. Concentrate on the intention to make the energy flow and enjoy the experience that Reiki offers you. We started in Gassho position: We have already done the whole Reiki preparation and activation process. We join hands (mudra gassho) at the height of the 4th chakra (heart) and meditate a few minutes, focusing on the present moment, here and now. Meditation and Reiki are parallel paths that should be practiced equally. Page 16

1st Position: We start giving Reiki to the 7th chakra for 2, 3 or more minutes, depending on the time available for our selftreatment. To control the time, in Youtube there are audios for Reiki practitioners, who from time to time notify you with chimes to make the change of position. 2nd Position: We continue giving Reiki, now to the 6th chakra (Front), anterior with right hand and posterior with left hand. Concentrate on the breath, on how the air enters and exits through your nose. Get away from all thoughts and let Reiki flow without resistance. Always keep your attention in the present moment. 3rd Position: A variant of the previous position. The right hand in 6th anterior chakra, and the left hand in occipital bone. I always give a lot of importance to this position in Reiki courses. Specifically, it matches the request position. It is a very energetic and relaxing position, it helps a lot in case of a headache. Page 17

4th Position: Both hands, crossed in 5th chakra (Throat). I am not in favor of crossing my hands or arms when I am practicing Reiki, but according to the Gendai-Reiki-Ho, this position is correct. In the next photo, you can see another position to give Reiki to the 5th chakra, in this case, right in the front and left in the back of the chakra. You can choose the one that is most comfortable for you, both are correct. 5th Position: Both hands in 4th chakra (Heart) anterior. This position is very interesting, since we will also give Reiki to the thymus gland; It is located in the center of the chest, behind the sternum. The thymus gland is the regulator of the energy flow that runs through our body, controlling the vital energy that we assimilate through the chakras. Page 18

6th Position: Both hands in 3rd chakra (Solar Plexus) anterior. This chakra is very important, here most of our emotions are created, positive and negative. With the will we direct our mind towards action; To create our future, you have created your world with your mind and your will. 7th Position: Both hands in 2nd chakra (two fingers below the navel) anterior. In Japan it is called "Hara: vital center of being" and is where the "Ki: internal energy" resides. By working this position we can increase our Ki or internal energy levels. 8th Position: Both hands in 1st chakra (Perineum: between the anus and the sexual organs). It is the chakra that connects us to the earth, opposite the 7th chakra that connects us to spirituality. The 1st and 7th chakra do not have anterior and posterior, they are of a single energetic vortex. Page 19

9th Position: As I mentioned in the previous position, the 1st and 7th chakra are opposite. We can make this position as the closing session. Right hand in first chakra and left hand in seventh chakra. I like this position because it makes me feel the connection between my material and spiritual part. And we ended up in Gassho position: Now that we have finished our selftreatment of Reiki, we can remain in a Gassho position for a few minutes feeling: peace, tranquility, tranquility. We can end with a Japanese greeting and thanking 3 times: Thank you thank you thank you. GASSHO!!! Note: It is advisable to drink a glass of water after a self-treatment of Reiki. Estimated time of a complete basic self-treatment of Reiki: 3 minutes of application in each of the 10 positions, would be 30 minutes. If you have just finished your Reiki course, be it 1st, 2nd or 3rd level, remember the 21 days of selftreatment or debugging period. Page 20

SELF-TREATMENT OF REIKI (Advanced) Below I detail the entire procedure (steps) for a Reiki self-treatment chair. If you are a level 1 Reiki practitioner, I recommend that you practice the most basic steps; Give Reiki to the chakras (previous section). Making too many positions at the beginning may cause you to lose, trying to memorize many positions and not be attentive to the experience. If you are a level 2 or 3 Reiki practitioner, I recommend that you practice the most advanced steps; this section. In many Reiki books you will find Self- Treatments with many more positions that you can incorporate as you progress in Reiki. Concentrate on the intention to make the energy flow and enjoy the experience that Reiki offers you. We put our hands together (mudra gassho) at the height of the 4th chakra (heart) and meditate a few minutes; focusing on the present moment, here and now. Meditation and Reiki are parallel paths that should be practiced equally. Page 21

1st Position: We start giving Reiki to the 7th chakra for 2, 3 or more minutes, depending on the time available for our selftreatment. To control the time, on YouTube there are audios for Reiki practitioners, who from time to time notify you with bells to make the change of position. Page 22

4th Position: Both hands in the eyes. This position together with the previous two and the next one, are a perfect combination to treat and eliminate a headache. People with Sinusitis problems have told me that they have experienced improvements working this position. 5th Position: Both hands at the temples. This position along with a good concentration on breathing will help calm the mind of fatigue, stress, worry, etc. A natural painkiller with immediate effect. 6th Position: Both hands, crossed in 5th chakra (Throat). You can even do both. Page 23

7th Position: Both hands in 4th chakra (Heart) anterior. This position is very interesting, since we will also give Reiki to the thymus gland; It is located in the center of the chest, behind the sternum. The Thymus is the regulator of the energy flow that runs through our body, controlling the vital energy that we assimilate through the chakras. We can add to the self-treatment an elevated position around the 4th chakra. Page 24

And an average position. 8th Position: Both hands in 3rd chakra (Solar Plexus) anterior. This chakra is very important, here most of our emotions are created, positive and negative. With the will we direct our mind towards action; To create our future, you have created your world with your mind and your will. We can add the following position with open hands, moving away from the center of the chakra and focusing on the liver and stomach. Page 25

9th Position: Both hands in 2nd chakra (two fingers below the navel) anterior. In Japan it is called "Hara: vital center of being" and is where the "Ki: internal energy" resides. By working this position we can increase our Ki or internal energy levels. We can add the following position with open hands, moving away from the center of the chakra and focusing on the kidneys. We can also open our hands a little more and give Reiki to the hip bone. Even the position of giving Reiki to the kidneys, waist and sacrum is very interesting and restorative. Page 26

10th Position: Both hands in 1st chakra (Perineum: between the anus and the sexual organs). It is the chakra that connects us to the earth, opposite the 7th chakra that connects us to spirituality. The 1st and 7th chakra do not have anterior and posterior, they are of a single energetic vortex. 11th Position: As I mentioned in the previous position, the 1st and 7th chakra are opposite. We can make this position as the closing session. Right hand in first chakra and left hand in seventh chakra. I like this position because it makes me feel the connection between my material and spiritual part. Other Positions: Shoulders. We can add to our treatment various positions such as: shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees, ankles... Applying Reiki to the joints of the body is very interesting, especially if we practice some sport. Page 27

Other Positions: Elbows. Today our tool is the computer and many people suffer from elbow and wrist by the use of the mouse. This position at any time of the day will be a great preventative relief. Other Positions: Knees. If you have an older relative, you will be very grateful that you apply a little Reiki to the knees, as this area of the body suffers a lot, especially in cases of overweight. Reiki shower (start). Do you remember this exercise? We raise our arms and lower them slowly, caressing our entire auric field. It is a very energizing and relaxing exercise, it reminds us a little of the movements of Chi-Kung. We can practice it at the beginning and / or at the end of the session. Highly recommended in Gendai Reiki Ho manuals. Page 28

Reiki shower (End). And we ended up in Gassho position: Now that we have finished our selftreatment of Reiki, we can remain in a Gassho position for a few minutes feeling: peace, tranquility, tranquility... We can end with a Japanese greeting and thanking 3 times: Thank you thank you thank you. GASSHO!!! Note: It is advisable to drink a glass of water after a self-treatment of Reiki. Recommended time of a complete advanced Reiki self-treatment: 45 to 60 minutes. If you have just finished your Reiki course, be it 1st, 2nd or 3rd level, remember the 21 days of selftreatment or debugging period. Page 29

TREATMENT OF REIKI IN CHAIR (Basic) Below I detail the entire procedure (steps) for a Reiki Treatment chair to a person. If you are a level 1 Reiki practitioner, I recommend that you practice the most basic steps; Give Reiki to the chakras (this section). Making too many positions at the beginning may cause you to lose, trying to memorize many positions and not be attentive to the experience. If you are a level 2 or 3 Reiki practitioner, I recommend that you practice the most advanced steps; in the next section you can see them in detail. In many Reiki books you will find Treatments with many more positions that you can incorporate as you progress in Reiki. Concentrate on the intention to make the energy flow and enjoy the experience that Reiki offers you. We started in Gassho position: We have already done the whole Reiki preparation and activation process. We put our hands together (mudra gassho) at the height of the 4th chakra (heart) and meditate a few minutes; focusing on the present moment, here and now. Meditation and Reiki are parallel paths that should be practiced equally. Page 30

Before beginning the treatment of Reiki to a person in a chair, we will comb your Aura with an up-down movement (3 times). We will repeat this gesture to finish the treatment. This first gesture is recommended by the Gendai Reiki Ho. The first layer of the aura or etheric body is related to the first chakra. The second layer is called the astral or emotional body, it is associated with the second chakra. The third layer or mental body is associated with the third chakra. The fourth layer or causal body is associated with the fourth chakra. The fifth layer is associated with the fifth chakra. The sixth layer is associated with the sixth chakra or third eye. The seventh layer is associated with the seventh chakra, it represents our highest state of evolution. We can open the Reiki session by drawing the Reiki symbols in front of the person, according to the level of Reiki that we practice: CHO-KU-REI, SEI-HE-KI and DAI-KO-MYO. It is optional to seal the process with CHO- KU-REI. Page 31

1st Position: We begin with a first contact with the person who will receive Reiki, positioning our hands on the back of the shoulders. This first position helps us to tune into their energy. For this basic treatment, we will apply Reiki only to the chakras. To control the time, in Youtube there are audios for Reiki practitioners, who from time to time notify you with chimes to make the change of position. 2nd Position: We start giving Reiki to the 7th chakra for 2 or 3 minutes, depending on the time available for the Treatment. 33 3rd Position: We continue giving Reiki, now to the 6th anterior and posterior chakra (Front). The anatomical elements associated with the 6th chakra are: pineal gland, eyes, forehead, nose and lower part of the brain. This chakra introduces us into the world of the non-material. If we develop this chakra correctly, we will increase our faculties of extrasensory perception, intuition and visualization capacity. 4th Position: A variant of the previous position. One hand in 6th anterior chakra, and the other hand in occipital bone. Do you remember the importance that I always give to this position in the courses? Specifically, it matches the request position. It is a very energetic and relaxing position, it helps a lot in case of a headache. Page 33

5th Position: We continue giving Reiki, now to the 5th anterior and posterior chakra (Throat). The anatomical elements associated with the 5th chakra are: thyroid and parathyroid gland, neck, vocal cords and tonsils. This chakra is associated with harmony, connection, communication, vibration and creativity. Kotodama: the power or spirit of the word. 6th Position: We continue giving Reiki, now to the 4th anterior and posterior chakra (Heart). 35 7th Position: We continue giving Reiki, now to the 3rd anterior and posterior chakra (Solar Plexus). The anatomical elements associated with the 3rd chakra are: adrenal glands, stomach, liver, pancreas and small intestine. Note: when we treat 1st, 2nd and 3rd chakras, we will look for support to have a comfortable position and not hurt our backs with unnecessary inclinations. 8th Position: We continue giving Reiki, now to the 2nd anterior and posterior chakra (Navel). The anatomical elements associated with the 2nd chakra are: sexual organs, lumbar region, hips, kidneys and bladder. This chakra is associated with sexuality, pleasure, sweetness, emotions and movement. Page 35

This chakra is associated with power, will, laughter, joy, humor, aggressiveness, vitality and perseverance. Page 43

Advanced Position 3: We can see in the image that we can apply Reiki with the index and heart fingers together, executing with the hand the position of the sword mudra. With the left hand in the 7th chakra and the right hand in the 4th chakra, our intention is: to stimulate the thymus gland; It is responsible for regulating the entire energy system of the body. We can also stimulate the thymus gland, tapping gently with your fingers 30 times. Advanced Position 4: This position is very energetic and is within the Japanese Techniques, its name is: TANDEM CHIRYO HO or detoxification technique. Left hand in 7th chakra and right hand in 2nd chakra. We can also include it in our selftreatments. We can also give Reiki: To the shoulders, elbows, wrists and hands. To hips, knees, ankles and feet. Page 44

9th Position: We continue giving Reiki, now to the 1st and 7th chakra (Perineum). The 1st and 7th chakra are opposite. The anatomical elements associated with the 1st chakra are: nervous plexus of the coccyx, spine, anus, sexual organs, kidneys, bladder and large intestine. This chakra is associated with family, home, discipline, roots and survival. We finish the treatment: 1º We return to the first position of contact with the shoulders. 2nd Repeat Aura's hairstyle, 3 times. 3º We make KENYOKU or "Dry Bath". 4th We offer a glass of water to the person treated with Reiki. Thank you thank you thank you. GASSHO!!! Note: It is advisable to drink a glass of water after a Reiki treatment; It is very important to wash your hands well, before and after treatment to third parties. Page 45

TREATMENT OF REIKI ON A STRETCHER (Basic) Below I detail the entire procedure (steps) for a Reiki Treatment on a stretcher to a person. If you are a level 1 Reiki practitioner, I recommend you practice Reiki on a chair (previous sections). If you are a level 2 or 3 Reiki practitioner, you will already master the practice of Reiki in a chair and now it is time to move forward with the Reiki treatment on a stretcher. The practice of Reiki on a stretcher is much more intense for the person who receives it. In the Basic Treatment we will focus on giving Reiki to the chakras. As we move forward, we will incorporate more positions. Concentrate on the intention to make the energy flow and enjoy the experience that Reiki offers you. We started in Gassho position: We already did the whole Reiki preparation and activation process... We put our hands together (mudra gassho) at the height of the 4th chakra (heart) and meditate a few minutes; focusing on the present moment, here and now. Meditation and Reiki are parallel paths that should be practiced equally. Page 46

1st Position: We draw symbols: Many Reiki students have asked me how the symbols should be drawn. The correct thing is to do it with the dominant hand. There are 3 ways to draw a symbol: with an open hand, with the hand in position of the sword mudra or with the index finger. I like to draw the symbols with the right hand open and the left in the 4th chakra (heart). Experiment the different ways until you find the right one for you, it's all about feeling. For the Level-1 Reiki practitioner: we draw CHO-KU-REI once and pronounce it 3 times, making a transmission gesture with the hand. It is optional to seal the process with CHO-KU-REI. For the Level-2 Reiki practitioner: we draw CHO-KU-REI and SEI-HE-KI once, pronouncing them 3 times and performing a transmission gesture with the hand. It is optional to seal the process with CHO-KU-REI. For the Reiki practitioner Level-3: we draw with the dominant hand CHO-KU- REI, SEI-HE-KI and DAI-KO-MYO, pronouncing them 3 times and making a transmission gesture with the hand. It is optional to seal the process with CHO-KU-REI. Page 47

We combed Aura: Before starting the treatment of Reiki to a person on a stretcher, we will comb your Aura with a movement of head to feet 3 times. Page 48

1st Position: We begin with a first contact with the person who is going to receive Reiki, positioning our hands on the lateral part of the shoulders. This first position helps us to tune into their energy. For this basic treatment, we will apply Reiki to the chakras. To control the time, in Youtube there are audios for Reiki practitioners, who from time to time notify you with chimes to make the change of position. 2nd Position: We start giving Reiki to the 7th chakra for 2 or 3 minutes, it depends on the time available for the treatment. The anatomical elements associated with the 7th chakra are: the pituitary gland, the upper part of the brain and the central nervous system. It is the chakra related to thought and spirituality, it is our door of contact with non-physical reality. Note: for Reiki sessions on a stretcher, we will need a support chair so as not to force our body in certain positions. Page 49

3rd Position: We continue giving Reiki, now to the 6th chakra (Front). Note: a variant of this position is to put one hand in the 6th chakra and another in the 7th. 4th Position: We continue giving Reiki, now to the 5th chakra (Throat). The anatomical elements associated with the 5th chakra are: thyroid and parathyroid gland, neck, vocal cords and tonsils. This chakra is associated with harmony, connection, communication, vibration and creativity. Kotodama: the power or spirit of the word. Page 50

5th Position: We continue giving Reiki, now to the 4th chakra (Heart). The anatomical elements associated with the 4th chakra are: thymus gland, lungs and heart. This chakra is associated with giving and receiving love, achieving the balance between our physical and spiritual part. It is a bridge through which energy circulates in both directions, in the liberating current to the higher chakras, and in the manifesting current to the lower chakras. Note: a variant of this position is to put your hands on T, giving Reiki to the upper chest and the central area. 6th Position: We continue giving Reiki, now to the 3rd chakra (Solar Plexus). The anatomical elements associated with the 3rd chakra are: adrenal glands, stomach, liver, pancreas and small intestine. This chakra is associated with power, will, laughter, joy, humor, aggressiveness, vitality and perseverance. Note: a variant of this position is to put your hands in line, giving Reiki to the lateral area of the Solar Plexus. In the section: Treatment with Tibetan Bowls we will see how to treat the emotions with Tibetan bowls on the 3rd chakra. Page 51

7th Position: We continue giving Reiki, now to the 2nd chakra (Navel). The anatomical elements associated with the 2nd chakra are: sexual organs, lumbar region, hips, kidneys and bladder. This chakra is associated with sexuality, pleasure, sweetness, emotions and movement. Note: a variant of this position is to put one hand in the 2nd chakra and another in the 7th. This position is very energetic and is within the Japanese Techniques, its name is: TANDEM CHIRYO HO or detoxification technique. In the Advanced Treatment section we will see the position to give Reiki to the hips. 8th Position: We continue giving Reiki, now to the 1st and 7th chakra (Coronilla- Perineo). The 1st and 7th chakra are opposite. The anatomical elements associated with the 1st chakra are: nervous plexus of the coccyx, spine, anus, sexual organs, kidneys, bladder and large intestine. This chakra is associated with family, home, discipline, roots and survival. Note: we can give Reiki with both hands to the 1st Chakra. Page 52

TREATMENT OF REIKI ON A STRETCHER (Advanced) Below I detail the entire procedure (steps) for a Reiki Treatment on a stretcher to a person. If you are a level 1 Reiki practitioner, I recommend that you practice the Reiki chair treatment (previous sections: basic and advanced). If you are a level 2 or 3 Reiki practitioner, you will already master the practice of Reiki in a chair and have experienced the practice of Reiki on a stretcher, now is the time to move forward with more positions and techniques. The practice of Reiki on a stretcher is much more intense for the person who receives it. In the Advanced Treatment we incorporate more positions and techniques, in addition we will use Tibetan bowls. Concentrate on the intention to make the energy flow and enjoy the experience that Reiki offers you. 58 3rd Position and Advanced: We continue giving Reiki, now to the 6th chakra (Front). Moving our hands a little, we will give Reiki with more intensity to the eyes. We can also give Reiki to the sides of the head, ears, temples, nose, mouth and cheekbone, jaws and ganglia. In the picture we can see the position to give Reiki to the temples, highly recommended position for headaches and migraines. The anatomical elements associated with the 6th Chakra are: pineal gland, eyes, forehead, nose and lower part of the brain; This chakra introduces us into the world of the non-material. If we develop this chakra correctly, we will increase our faculties of extrasensory perception, intuition and visualization capacity. This chakra is associated with harmony, connection, communication, vibration and creativity. Kotodama: the power or spirit of the word. Page 58

Advanced Positions: We can add to our treatment various positions such as: shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, knees, ankles... We can combine the positions: Shoulder-Elbow Elbows-Doll Shoulder-Doll Shoulder-Hand Applying Reiki to the joints of the body is very interesting, especially if we practice some sport. In each hand we find one of the most important points for Acupressure (MTC). The point IG-4 is the analgesic point of the body, pressing it we can get to eliminate the pain of another area of the body. Points P-6 and H-7 are related to nervousness, we can press to reduce stress and anxiety. On the internet you can find more information about these points and others that can help you enrich your Reiki sessions. Page 59

Note: a variant of this position is to put your hands in line, giving Reiki to the lateral area of the Solar Plexus. In the section: Treatment with Tibetan Bowls we will see how to treat the emotions with Tibetan bowls on the 3rd chakra. Page 60

7th Position and Advanced: We continue giving Reiki, now to the 2nd chakra (Navel). The anatomical elements associated with the 2nd chakra are: sexual organs, lumbar region, hips, kidneys and bladder. This chakra is associated with sexuality, pleasure, sweetness, emotions and movement. An advanced position is to give Reiki to the hips. In the following editions of this Visual Reiki Guide, we will include a section of Back Treatment, basic and advanced, and we will include the techniques to perform the Japanese Massage: Ketsueki Kokan Ho. We can also give Reiki to knees, ankles and feet. Page 61

TANDEM CHIRYO HO This Japanese Technique is composed of two positions, it is very energetic, its name is: TANDEM CHIRYO HO or detoxification technique. For 5 minutes we execute the first position: left hand in 7th chakra (in the area of the head where the hair begins to grow) and right hand in 2nd chakra. And for 20 minutes we execute the second position: both hands in 2nd chakra. When you do this technique, make the following statement: "Please, let all the poison come out or be removed from my body." We can also include it in our selftreatments. Do this technique lying down so that your arms do not get tired. Ayashiku-nai means, "nothing mysterious" Okashiku-nai means, "nothing unusual" Muzukashiku-nai means, "nothing difficult" Gendai Reiki Ho Page 62

Technique of the Lotus Flower: This Technique of Reiki very little known, is composed of two positions, it is very powerful and energetic, I invite you to experience it. For 5 minutes we meditated with the mudra of the "Lotus Flower" (Padma Mudra) at the height of the 4th chakra. And for 10 minutes we made the second position: we join our hands to the 7th chakra. It is a mudra related to our most spiritual aspects. When I do this technique I usually imagine all the Reiki symbols in my hands; and when I put my hands in the 7th chakra, I imagine that the symbols enter the person by the top of his head and go through his entire body. Some people who have experienced this technique say they have had a very intense experience. I have even been able to see spontaneous movements of legs and arms, although after the session people have declared not remembering these involuntary movements. I invite you to investigate more about this mudra, on the internet there is a lot of information about it. Page 63

GASSHO!!! 65 TIBETAN BOWLS TREATMENT The bowls originate from the Shamanic religion Bön Po, prior to the Buddhism of the Himalayas, and are also called Tibetan Bowls; they are currently made in Bhutan, Nepal, India and Tibet. The culture of the bowl seems to come from the Bronze Age in China, some 3,000 years ago; the old alloys carried iron and nickel, as well as stellar metals that fell in Tibet, because the altitude is an area conducive to the fall of meteorites; some sources affirm that they are made at least of seven sacred metals, corresponding to the knowledge of the seven celestial bodies: GOLD: Sun COPPER: Venus LEAD: Saturn SILVER: Luna IRON: Mars MERCURY: Mercury TIN: Jupiter The alloys of the metal had to be carried out using a very special process, which modern techniques are still unable to reproduce; the proportion of the different metals varies in each bowl, as well as the thickness; the authentic Tibetan bowl is made with more silver and tin, which gave them a more matt luster, while the bowls of Nepal have the familiar golden gilt of gold. The sound is determined by the shape and thickness of the bowl, as well as by the thickness of the singing; Most bowls are decorated in some way, for example: with prints in the form of rings, stars and leaves, sometimes there is an inscription on the outside. Through the sound and vibrations produced by these instruments, they unlock and harmonize the Chakras and natural energy flows at the physical, mental and emotional levels. The Tibetan bowls recreate the harmonic wave frequency of the Planets and the Universe, to be made with stellar materials, collect the energy and harmony of that star. The sounds and vibrations have the property of modifying brain waves, favoring states of relaxation and meditation work; sound affects us by the principle of resonance, whereby a more intense and harmonic vibration spreads to a weaker or disharmonic one. It is possible to measure the waves emitted by Tibetan bowls; it has been discovered that among the wave models of the different Tibetan bowls, there is a model that is equivalent to that of the alpha waves (state of meditation and calm consciousness) that the brain produces. The vibrations produce the same effects as the sound, but they have more intensity and by directly contacting the person, the vibration penetrates the body, affecting more deeply physically, emotionally, energetically, and spiritually. Some of the effects of Tibetan bowls: 1. Muscular relaxation 2. Dissolution and cleaning of negative energies. 3. Emotional unlocks. 4. Energy unblocks. 5. They favor states of trance and psychic sensitivity. 6. Relief from stress and anxiety. 7. Improvement of concentration. 8. Improvement of creativity. 9. Balance of the cerebral hemispheres. 10. Stimulation of alpha wave activity or deep meditation. 11. Increase in kundalini energy. Page 65

12. Balance and cleanliness of the chakras and the aura. 13. Energy cleanliness of the environment. 14. Encourages access to superior intuition and consciousness. The sound and feeling of a long vibration of the bowl on the thorax or abdomen is transmitted to the energy system through the whole body (after all, we are 80% water, and water is a wonderful conductor of sound), which is powerful and indescribable; an extensive session with bowls induces relaxation. They are used by therapists, Yoga teachers, and they are an incalculable experience for any being that practices some type of meditation; currently used in Complementary Therapies, this technique is known as "Vibrational Therapy" and has excellent results in emotional, physical and psychic disorders. WAYS TO PLAY A BOWL Touch: with a wooden stick or lined with leather, the outer edge of the bowl is beaten. The bowl should be placed on the palm of the hand, with the fingers extended and without rings; if the bowl is very large, it is placed on top of a non-slip surface. Percussion: the bowl can be percussed on the outside or inside, if it is on the inside it hits the edge. For percussion we use rubber, cotton or leather-lined sticks, wooden sticks are not used because the sound is very shrill. "Tibetan music is built on the deepest vibrations that an instrument or a human voice can produce, sounds that seem to come from the matrix of the earth or from the depth of space like a storm, unleashing the mantric sound of nature, which it symbolizes the creative vibrations of the universe, the origin of all things. " Anagarika Govinda PRECAUTIONS VERY VERY IMPORTANT: in concerts, in therapies or in the individual use of any bowl, NEVER USE A BOWL WITH PREGNANT WOMEN OR WITH PERSONS WITH PACEMAKERS, neither in places where there are animals in the process of gestation; The intense vibrations of the bowls can cause abortions as the amniotic fluid moves, they can also interfere with pacemakers. It is not advisable for children under 14 years of age to receive therapies with bowls, since their energy system is not fully formed. Source: Enrique Carriedo Aranda, The Bells of Shambala. Guide for the use and enjoyment of Tibetan bowls and the voice, editorial: Manakel, Madrid Page 66

Below I detail how to work with Tibetan Bowls and Quartz in a Reiki treatment to third parties. The small and medium bowls will be used on the body. The large bowls are not recommended to use on the body and much less on the rib cage, since it is a natural resonance box and we could cause tachycardia. I usually use the small and medium bowls in the 3rd chakra, where emotions are created. The idea is to move the stagnant emotions in the 3rd chakra, raise them to the 4th so that the person can live and feel them; followed, they will reach the 5th chakra, where the person may or may not express them (crying, shouting, joy or a feeling of satisfaction), and thus heal them. Position: We will place the dominant hand in the 7th chakra and with the other hand, using a mallet, we will gently touch the edge of the bowl, until it stops sounding. In this first touch, we will be attentive to the eye movement and throat of the person; These involuntary movements of the eyes and throat indicate that the person is resenting a situation in the past. Next, we will touch the bowl again, twice more; 3 times is enough to move the emotions from 3rd to 4th and 5th chakra. Sometimes, we may meet "hard" people to express emotions; in these cases, we will not insist trying to move the emotions with the bowls, and we finish the process. Page 67

The big Tibetan bowls, since their vibration is very high, we will use them at a distance of about 30 centimeters from the body. To balance the energy of the auric field, we will perform sweeps from the head to the feet; first by the central line of the body and then by both sides. To work each chakras; Unlocking, balancing and harmonization, we will place the bowl at a distance of about 30 centimeters from the chakra, and we will work each chakra in ascending form from the 1st to the 7th. Note: with the quartz bowls we will work in the same way. Affirmations for each chakra: 1º I'm sure, I trust more. I'm centered and grounded. 2º I feel my emotions and my pain, my passions awaken me. I give myself to this moment. 3º I'm brave, I find out. I am in my power. 4th I am delighted I let love flow. I'm in myself I live in peace and gratitude. 5th I can play in my imagination, I can create my reality, what I know I share as my truth. 6th I honor my intuition. I accept my way. I am the healing, the mind, body and spirit. 7º I can connect with the Spirit. I invite the sacred transformation, I embrace the unity of all beings. Page 68

STUDY OF CHAKRAS Chakra means "wheel" in Sanskrit; the Vedas used this term to refer to the energetic centers of the human body. There are seven main and several secondary chakras that correspond to the acupuncture points, each of which is associated with some of the endocrine glands within the physical body. These centers extend in the form of whirlpools through the energy field that surrounds the physical body and are composed of successive layers of energy that vibrate at increasingly higher frequencies; each of them has a front and a back, except the first and the seventh. All of them are linked by an energy channel that runs along the entire spine (central channel). Main functions of the chakras: Revitalize each aural or energetic body and with it the physical body. Provoke the development of different aspects of self-consciousness, because each chakra is related to a specific psychological function. Transmit energy between the aural levels since each progressive layer exists in ever increasing frequency octaves. When the functioning of the chakras is normal, each of them will be open, turning in the clockwise direction to metabolize the particular energies that it needs from the universal energy field (energy that has also been called ki, chi, prana or orgone). When the chakra turns counterclockwise, the current flows from the center outward, thereby interfering with the metabolism. Therefore, it is said that the chakra is closed or blocked to the energies that arrive. Most people have three or four chakras that rotate in the opposite direction at a certain time; as the chakras are not only metabolizers of energy, but they also detect it, they serve to provide us with information about the world around us. If we block any chakra, we do not let the information enter. Therefore, when our chakras flow in an anti-clockwise direction, we release our energy by sending it to the world, we detect the energy that we have sent and we say that this is the world; It is what is called projection in psychology. The imaginary reality that we project to the world is related to the "image" that we have formed of him through our childhood experiences, through the mind of the child we were. Since each chakra is related to a specific psychological function, what we project through each of them will be within the functioning area of said chakra and will be very personal, since each person's life experience is unique. Page 69

FIRST CHAKRA MULADHARA (Root) FIRST: Physical energy and will to live. Location: In the perineum, between the anus and the genitals. Glands: Corticoadrenal. It is related to the amount of physical energy and the desire to live in physical reality. It is the location of the first manifestation of the life force on the physical plane. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE FIRST CHAKRA IS OPEN When the vital force is in full operation, the person shows a powerful desire to live in physical reality, in combination with a powerful flow that descends down the legs, with this comes a clear and direct affirmation of the physical power. The coccyx acts as an energy pump on the etheric level, helping to channel the energy flow up the spine. This affirmation of physical potency, combined with the will to live, gives the individual a "presence" of power and vitality. Declares to be "here and now" and has well-affirmed feet about physical reality. The "presence" of power and vitality emanate from it in the form of vital energy; it frequently acts as a generator, giving energy to those around them and recharging their own energy systems. He has a strong will to live. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE FIRST CHAKRA IS CLOSED When the coccygeal center is blocked or closed, most of the physical vitality is blocked and the person does not make a strong impression on the physical plane. Not here". You will avoid physical activity, your energy will be low and it may even be "sickly". He will lack physical power. If this chakra is not opened before attending to others, we would have grown without taking root, without foundation and there will be no stability. The real trap of the physical world lies in the belief that this is the only essential reality that we are made of and not one level among several others: but we must not fall into the opposite extreme of denying the physical self, because then the coherent unity of consciousness is not possible and the Page 70

first chakra is closed because the limitations and discipline essential for manifestation in the matter are not accepted. FUNCTIONS OF THE SUPRARRENAL GLANDS They are two glands of internal secretion, of pyramidal form of lower base, they are located one on each side of the abdominal cavity, above the upper pole of both kidneys. Hormones that produce the adrenal glands: Substances made by the bark: Glucorticoids: hormones with an anti-inflammatory, antiallergic action and effects on blood pressure. Mineralcorticoids: hormones regulating the action of sodium and potassium, especially at the renal level, but also in the salivary glands, sweat glands and the gastrointestinal tract. Sexual: hormones elaborated in a minimum part by the adrenal cortex, are chemically equal and exert the same biological function as those elaborated by the sexual glands. Substances made by the adrenal medulla: Adrenaline and Noradrenaline: Hormones equal to neurotransmitters. The difference is that neurotransmitters exert their biological action only in the place where they are released, while those of adrenal origin are poured directly into the blood; in the adrenal zone, more adrenaline than noradrenaline is produced, which is not the case in the sympathetic nerve terminals that produce the neurotransmitters. Page 71

SECOND CHAKRA SWADHISTHANA (Sweetness). SECOND FRONT: Ability to give and receive love and pleasure in a relationship. It is related to the quality of love towards the couple that the person can have. SECOND PSOTERIOR: Amount of sexual energy. It is related to the amount of sexual energy of a person. Location: Genitalia, matrix. Glands: Gonads. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE SECOND FRONT IS OPEN When open, it facilitates giving and receiving sexual and physical pleasure. Most likely, the person will enjoy intercourse and have orgasms. The orgasm revitalizes and cleanses the body in an energetic bath; clears the bodily system of clogged energy, waste products and deep tension; Sexual orgasm is important for the physical well-being of the person. However, the total orgasm of the body requires that all centers be open. For those who have already accessed the experience of union of the physical and spiritual aspects between two beings achieving communion and have passed to other phases along the spiritual path, some spiritual disciplines such as kundalini yoga and the tantric tradition, assure that this Discharge is no longer necessary for the well-being of the person (but most humans do not fall into that category and must first achieve communion with their partner). WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE SECOND FRONT IS CLOSED The result of the blockage of the pubic center can be an inability to achieve orgasm in a woman who is unable to open herself to her partner's sexual feeding and receive it. You probably will not be able to connect with your vagina and maybe you will not enjoy the penetration; Perhaps you will feel more inclined to enjoy clitoral stimulation than penetration and may even want to be the active or aggressive part of intercourse. When it is the male who suffers the blockage, it will probably be accompanied by premature orgasm or the inability to achieve an erection. The protective instinct is the ultimate somatization of sexuality and a bodily and emotional need; it is the essence of maternal qualities, a blissful experience of warmth and safety that will be absent if this chakra is blocked frontally. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE SECOND REAR IS OPEN With this open center the person feels his sexual potency. Page 72

All desire sets in motion an energy; denying it would only serve to block the exit of that energy, which will try to express itself again in another place. The element associated with this chakra is water, which teaches us to be fluid and ductile in our desires. The force of desire is the root of our passion and becomes also our power and understanding if the energy flows through this open chakra expressing itself in a harmonious way. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE SECOND BACK IS CLOSED If you block this particular chakra, your sexual strength and potency will be weak and disappointing; probably will not have much sex drive and will try to avoid sex denying its importance and pleasure, which will lead to malnutrition of the area cited. Since the orgasm is responsible for flooding the body with vital energy, the organism will not be fed and will not receive the psychological nutrition of communion and physical contact with another body. There is a fear, at some deep level, of unleashing all your sexual potency. FUNCTIONS OF SEXUAL GONDS OR GLANDS TESTICLES (male gonads): They are both gonads and glands of internal secretion. The function of gonads is expressed through the formation and maturation of sperm and the endocrine by the production of hormones, its shape is ovoid and slightly flattened in a transverse direction. Testicular hormones: Androgens (testosterone) and estrogens (estradiol and estrone): Testosterone increases the libido, is responsible for the development of the male genital organs and secondary sexual characteristics and is essential for the purpose of spermatogenesis. OVARIES (female gonads): They are both gonads and glands of internal secretion. The function of gonads is expressed by the formation and maturation of the ovules and the endocrine by the production of hormones. Hormones of the ovary: Androgens (testosterone) estrogens (estradiol and estrone) and progestins (progesterone): Estrogens exert their activity on the uterovaginal mucosa, determining the morphological variations of the menstrual cycle, and influencing the development of secondary sexual characteristics. The main function of progesterone is to prepare the mucosa of the uterus for nidation and nutrition of the fertilized egg. Testosterone increases libido. Page 73

THIRD CHAKRA MANIPURE (Bright gem). FRONT THIRD: Self-esteem, action, vitality, pleasure and extroversion, spiritual wisdom and awareness of the universality of life and of the site within it. THIRD POSTERIOR: Will to manifest our intentions through concrete actions, to preserve one's health and healing capacity. Location: In the solar plexus and diaphragmatic center. Glands: Pancreas. It is associated with the strength of will and attitude that one has regarding one's physical health; It is also known as a healing center and is related to spiritual healing. It is said that this center is very large and is very developed in some healers. The center of the solar plexus is very important in terms of human connection capacity. When a child is born an ethereal umbilical cord is connected between him and his mother. These cords represent a human connection; when a person creates a relationship with another human being, cords grow between their respective solar plexus chakras; The stronger the connections between both people, the greater the strength and number of those cords. In cases where the relationship is ending, the cords are slowly disconnected. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE THIRD FRONT IS OPEN Although the solar plexus chakra is mental, its healthy functioning is directly related to the emotional life of the individual. This is so because the mind or mental processes serve as regulators of emotional life. The mental understanding of emotions places them in a framework of order and acceptably defines reality. If this center is open and functioning harmoniously, the individual will have a deeply satisfying and stress-free emotional life; He acepts himself and the others; He has a firm self-esteem. A person with this open front chakra can look at the starry sky and feel that it belongs to him; It is firmly entrenched on his place in the universe. It is the center of its own exclusive aspect of expression of the manifest universe, and from it it obtains spiritual wisdom. However, when this chakra is open but it has torn the protective membrane that covers it, it will suffer extreme uncontrollable emotions. He could feel the influence of external sources of the astral that would confuse him; it will be lost perhaps in the universe and the stars. There will come a time when the abuse of said chakra will cause physical pain in that area, which can lead to a disease, for example, adrenal exhaustion. Page 74

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE THIRD POSTERIOR IS CLOSED If this center is closed, the person will block their feelings, perhaps until they feel nothing; he will not be aware of a deeper meaning of emotions that lends another dimension to existence. It may not be connected with its own exclusivity within the universe and its greater purpose; You will not feel love and acceptance for yourself. Action, power and vitality are absent or seriously diminished when this chakra is closed. The power of the third chakra is the power of life, of vitality and connection, not the cold power of control and domination. The state of the physical bodily structures of the frontal aspect of this chakra reflects the position of the person in front of the power. The cramped and hard stomach, the swollen belly, the collapsed diaphragm are indications of problems facing the need to hold power, exercise control and influence over others, protect themselves from external power or fear of assuming one's own power, retrenchment in oneself and fear to stand out. Excess weight in general is an indication of the malfunction of this center, since it regulates the body's metabolism and it is evident that if there is sorbrepeso there is an imbalance between assimilation and purification in the process of converting food into energy and discarding surplus THIRD REAR (diaphragmatic center) Willingness to manifest our intentions through concrete actions, to preserve our own health and capacity for healing. It is associated with the strength of will and attitude that one has regarding one's physical health. It is also known as a healing center and is related to spiritual healing; It is said that this center is very large and is very developed in some healers. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE THIRD POSTERIOR IS OPEN The power of the will when this center is open is the power of connection, of union, of fusion. The power to unite the polarities to manifest an integrated unity; This power is the only force capable of bringing us to manifest our purest intentions in concrete actions, since the will of the mind is aligned with the will of the spirit in the same center and with it the balance is reached. Energy alone does not constitute power, it must be given a direction. Power comes from potere meaning "to be able". The intimate feeling of power, of being connected to the source of power, is indispensable to be sure of oneself and to venture with confidence into the unknown. If the person feels a strong love towards his body and intends to keep it healthy, this center is open. Normally this center is open if the center of the solar plexus is open, because the acceptance of itself will manifest itself at the physical level as corporal health. Total health (mental, emotional and spiritual) requires that all centers be open and balanced. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE THIRD POSTERIOR IS CLOSED Page 75

If this center is closed, there are feelings of personal rejection and disinterest in one's own health. When we are afraid or feel powerless, we undertake withdrawal, we reduce our mobility, we use a part of ourselves to control the rest. We block our own strength, our own expressions. Whoever locks himself in is shown outside cold and controlled. This control needs energy to maintain itself and does not produce it, so that we feel fatigued after some time, exhausted, empty; our desire for activity diminishes and we find ourselves in need of supplying artificial energy in the form of sweets or stimulants that go directly to the third chakra and incite it momentarily, although in the long run they leave it exhausted. Some, in so far as they conceive of power as something foreign, always look for external stimuli, approval from others, excitement and activity outside of themselves; then they lose the ability to stop, to stop to seek the power within themselves. FUNCTIONS OF THE PANCREAS It is a large hammer-shaped gland located behind the stomach. The pancreas has a double function exocrine (that pours its elaboration to the duodenum) and endocrine. Hormones of the pancreas: Insulin: Hormone that determines a decrease in blood glucose by accelerating your metabolism; on the other hand, it hinders glycogenolysis. A lack of insulin determines diabetes mellitus. Glucagon: Hormone that determines an increase in glycemia, accelerating the cleavage of glycogen. Page 76

FOURTH CHAKRA ANAHATA (Intact). Location: Heart. Glands: supracardiac paraganglia / thymus. The opening of this center is directly correlated to the erosion of the ego, because it is the center through which we love; through which flows the energy of connection with all life forms. The more open this center is, the greater is our ability to love an ever wider circle of life. When this center is in operation, we love ourselves and our children, spouses, relatives, pets, friends, neighbors, compatriots and foreigners, all our fellow human beings and all the creatures of the earth. FOURTH FRONT (heart center) Cordial feelings of love for other human beings, openness to life. Through this center we connect the laces with the heart centers of those with whom we have a loving relationship, which includes children and parents as well as lovers and spouses. The loving feelings that flow through this chakra often cause tears to come to our eyes. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE FRONT ROOM IS OPEN When this chakra is open, the person can see in each individual his neighbor and love him unconditionally, for the simple fact of existing. You can see the exclusivity of beauty and the inner light of each individual. The love of the fourth chakra is not linked to an object, it is a love that we radiate towards everything that comes our way, because we feel it inside as a state of being. The love of the heart is by essence; lasting, eternal and constant. It is expressed as joyful acceptance of oneself and of others, of the place that has corresponded to us within the totality of things. It is experienced as a profound peace that emanates from the absence of conflicts and being in harmony with everything that surrounds us, all of which we deeply appreciate to the point of feeling grateful for its existence. To live in love is to live in balance, in a permanent state of grace, delicacy, flexibility, tolerance and kindness. It is living and letting live appreciating the sacred gift of life in each and every one of its manifestations. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE FRONT ROOM IS CLOSED Page 77

The person has difficulties to love, in the sense of giving love without expecting anything in return. With this closed center we experience an imbalance and an absence of purpose and meaning of our own existence and of the world in general. There is no ability to establish lasting relationships, because all lasting patterns are the result of a balance between the parties. To be able to love, one must consent to a certain degree of loss of autonomy in order to experience a superior unity, and with this closed center there is no capacity to yield in favor of the other. Equanimity is achieved only in the fullness of the heart, as the center of being, and without equanimity it is not possible to perceive the patterns of order of the cosmos, of nature or of our own patterns and rhythms of growth and evolution. Due to this, we experience desolation, loneliness, feelings of disconnection, lack of union, transcendence and sacredness of people, nature, animals and life itself. FOURTH BACK (between the shoulder blades) Will to impact the outside world and will to love. It is the center from which we act in the physical world and pursue what we desire. The center of passion, could be called. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE BACK ROOM IS OPEN If this center rotates in a clockwise direction, our attitude about the attainment of things in life will be positive, and we will consider other people as supports for our achievements; then we will have the experiences that support our will and we will feel that the Divine Will and ours are in agreement; we will also perceive the will of our fellows aligned with ours. For example, if the person wishes to write a book, he will have the vision of his friends helping him and the acceptance of the work by the editors and the public to whom it is addressed. The world is perceived as an interrelated, coherent and meaningful unit, so the opening of this center generates feelings of compassion, connection and understanding towards those around us; which also leads to the desire to help, teach and heal others. The understanding that we are all one, leads us to realize that we can not progress while others suffer, as in the case of Bodhisattvas, people who have advanced spiritually to enlightenment, postpone their liberation from the physical body to devote themselves to teaching. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE BACK ROOM IS CLOSED If this center moves counterclockwise, the opposite is applicable. We will have the wrong idea that the will of God and that of other people are opposed to ours; It will seem to us that people form blocks that oppose the achievement of what we want and that we will have to cross them or jump them to get what we want instead of considering their possible help. We will believe that the will of God is alien to ours; in this case strong beliefs about the functioning of the universe are implicit. Sometimes the Page 78

image of a hostile universe where only the strongest aggressors will survive, will make the person believe that their survival is at stake. The person works by control and tries to give greater security to his world by controlling others, acting in an inconsiderate, unjust and cruel manner. The solution is that the person realizes that he is creating a hostile environment with his aggression and then exposes himself at random to let go and see if survival is possible without control. If you face this risk, over time you will come to experience a benign, abundant and secure universe in which the existence of the person is supported by the whole. FUNCTIONS OF PARAGANGLES SUPRACARDIACOS They are a group of chromaffin cells that are found at the bifurcation point of the common carotid, at the point of appearance of the left coronary artery. Paraganglion hormones: Noradrenaline: Hormone equal to neurotransmitters. The difference is that the neurotransmitters exert their biological action only in the place where they are released, while those of the paraganglia are poured directly into the blood. CHAKRA DEL TIMO Traditionally it was located to the gland of the thymus as it yields of the chakra of the heart. However, more and more authors refer to this center as a different chakra, which is activating in these moments of human evolution. Until recently we focused on seven main chakras, but as we evolve and get closer to the angels, a new chakra is awakening within us. We call it the thymus chakra. It is found between the chakras of the heart and throat. Just as angels are open to all of life, this new chakra will sustain us as we learn to open more and more to each other. The function of the thymus chakra is to generate peace and universal love; It is also linked to the thymus gland, an important part of our immune system. The awakening of this new chakra will strengthen our immune system and will help us to treat cancer, AIDS, heart disease, attacks and other ills. FUNCTIONS OF THE TIMO It is a gland that has the shape of a quadrangular pyramid with a lower base. It is constituted by two lobes, right and left, and is located behind the upper portion of the sternum, sometimes extending to the lower region of the neck. In proportion, the thymus is much more developed at birth than in adulthood. Normally it grows until puberty, a time when it starts a slow involution and the gland is replaced by adipose tissue. However, in adulthood it is possible to find functional remains of the involuted organ. Thymus hormone: Page 79

It has an extraordinary importance in the functioning of the immune system. It is known that it is capable of modifying the lymphocytes from the bone marrow in mature T lymphocytes that are the agents of an extraordinarily effective variety of immune response, called cellular response, which the body sets in motion to fight against some infectious diseases (cancer ). Page 80

FIFTH CHAKRA VISHUDA (Purification). Location: Throat. Glands: Thyroid / parathyroid. The fifth chakra is the center of sound, vibration and self-expression; it is the domain of consciousness that controls, creates, transmits and receives communications, both with our internal wisdom and with others. His attributes include listening, speaking, singing, writing and all the arts that have to do with sound and words; It is also the center of dynamic creativity, clairaudience and telepathy, because communication is an essential key to access the internal planes and be able to use our multidimensional mental levels. FIFTH FRONT (center of the throat): Taking and assimilation, communication. It is associated with communication and taking responsibility for one's own needs. The newborn is close to the breast, but should suckle before achieving nourishment. The same principle is applicable throughout life; As the person matures, the satisfaction of their needs depends more and more on themselves. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE FIFTH FRONT IS OPEN The functioning of this chakra is appropriate when maturity is reached and we stop blaming others for our own vital needs and dedicate ourselves to creating what we need and desire. The process of creating is inherent in communication and this requires that we enter in resonance with those to whom we wish to transmit our ideas, thoughts and / or feelings to impact reality, so that the opening of the fifth chakra entails the achievement of empathy and tuning in with others. The essence of communication is creativity, because with the alteration of existing patterns we become creators that give rise to the reality and the future of our lives moment by moment. As we move forward in the opening of this center, the subject acquires the understanding of the world in the "vibrational" plane, which is a plane located beyond the forms and movements of the material plane. The ability of telepathy is also acquired, defined as "the art of communicating through time and space without resorting to any of the five normal senses". WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE FIFTH FRONT IS CLOSED Page 81

If this center is measured as counter-clockwise, the person does not take what is given. This is usually the case because he considers the world a negative and generally hostile place, given that he will be cautious and his hopes about what he will receive will be negative; surely he expects hostility, violence or humiliation instead of love and food; As the negativity of your hopes causes you to create a negative force field, it will attract the negative to itself. That is, if you have expectations of violence, it will be inside you, and you will attract it according to the law that peers are attracted, according to the nature of the universal energy field. Communication does not flow, it is not achieved, since there is no resonance with others and therefore, creativity is difficult and it is not possible to change reality. Another issue associated with the obstruction of this center is the lack of tranquility and inner silence, essential to be able to widen the capacity of perception and channel or receive telepathic communications. FIFTH REAR (neck base) Willingness to contribute our contribution to others. Sense of self within society and the profession of each one. The aspect of assimilation and creation that occurs in the back of this chakra is sometimes called a professional center, because it is associated with the person's sense of self with respect to society, their profession and their peers; If a person does not feel comfortable in this area of their life, their dissatisfaction may be filled with pride to compensate for the lack of self-esteem. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE FIFTH SUBSEQUENT IS OPEN The center of the back of the neck opens normally when one is successful and adapts well in his work, in addition to feeling satisfied with it when considering it as his task in life and a means of expression. If the person has chosen a profession or occupation that allows him to use his talents and abilities, it is exciting, allows him to perform and deliver the best of himself to others, this center will be in full bloom; he will have professional success and will receive support from the universe to nourish himself, since he will be exercising his will through his creative capacity. A creative process is not necessarily artistic, but anything that materially manifests our thoughts, feelings and purposes, is a creation that shows our will. Establish an NGO, run a company, write a novel, teach, provide services or start a business are things that are achieved by having this center open. Creativity sets in motion internal forces, which is why creative processes are therapeutic, allowing us to drain intimate frustrations and broaden our capacity for innovation; By exercising our creativity constantly and at levels that imply a growing challenge, we keep this chakra open. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE FIFTH SUBSEQUENT IS CLOSED Page 82

If this center is blocked, the person will be reluctant to give their best; it will fail and hide in pride its lack of success. He knows in his interior that he would benefit if he gave the best of himself by finding an activity, a job or a position in which he could develop his true interests or if he went beyond the level at which he arrived and acquired new challenges and commitments. However, he never does any of those things and maintains the defense of pride to avoid the real despair that lies within him. He feels that, in reality, he does not succeed in life; he will probably play the role of victim, complaining that life has not given him opportunities to allow him to develop his great talent or interests; when you get rid of that pride, the pain and frustration will disappear. In this center we will also reveal the fear of failure that blocks the impulse to go out and create what is desired, which is also applicable to personal friendships and life in general. By avoiding contact, this person also avoids revealing herself and feeling, on the one hand, the fear of not liking and, on the other, the competence and pride expressed as "I'm better than you" or "you're not good enough" for me". As our feelings of rejection originate inside and then we project them towards others, we avoid the other person to save ourselves from rejection. Facing the risk of seeking the profession you want, moving towards the contacts you yearn for and revealing your own feelings about it are ways to release those feelings and, therefore, to open that chakra. FUNCTIONS OF THE THYROID AND RELATIVE GLANDS This gland, which is not perfectly symmetrical, appears as a half moon with the concavity facing upwards; It is composed of two lobes that are joined by a glandular tissue called an isthmus. Sometimes, from the upper margin of the isthmus, a prolongation of a conical or cylindrical shape is called a pyramidal lobe. THYROID The color of the gland is red, more or less intense. It has a close relationship with the trachea and with the nerve vessels of the neck. Thyroid hormones: Thyroxine and Triyodotine: ABROAD THYROIDS Lobes of small volume inconsistent and variable in number and location, which present the same structure of the thyroid gland. They can be found from the isthmus towards the throat, or more frequently in a triangular zone with base in the lower jaw and vertex in the arch of the aorta; fragments of the main thyroid gland are considered separated in early periods of development. PARATHYROID Page 83

Normally man has 4 parathyroid glands, two superior and two inferior; They are found on the posterior aspect of the thyroid lobes, of which they are distinguished by their paler color and are generally spheroidal in shape. Sometimes their number varies, they can decrease by reducing to a single one, or they can increase to eight; they are rarely located in other areas such as the interior of the thyroid gland or, exceptionally, in the thymus gland. Parathyroid hormones: Parathormone: this hormone regulates the balance of calcium in the body. A deficiency of parathormone leads to a decrease in calcium in the blood count, with an increase in phosphorus, and as a consequence there is a nervous hyperexcitability; In case of hyperfunction of the glands, calcium is acquired from the bones. Page 84

SEXTO CHAKRA AJNA (Know, perceive). SIXTH FRONT (center of the forehead): Ability to visualize and understand mental concepts. The center of the forehead is related to the ability to visualize and understand mental concepts. This includes the concepts of the world and the universe of the person, or the way in which he considers the world and the likely answers it will give him. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE SIXTH FRONT IS OPEN Clear understanding and high ability to visualize and understand mental concepts. Creative ability WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE SIXTH FRONT IS CLOSED If this center rotates counter-clockwise, one has confusing mental concepts or images about reality that are not true and, in general, negative; The person projects these images to the world to create their own. If this center is stuck or weak, creative ideas will be blocked simply because the amount of energy flowing through it is reduced. To open this center it is necessary to purify or classify our images of negative beliefs; in the therapeutic process it is necessary to bring the image to light and make it manifest in the life of the person, so that the person understands and sees the image clearly as what it is and can replace it. SIXTH POSTERIOR (mental executive): Will to develop ideas in a practical way. It is associated with the implementation of creative ideas formulated in the center of the forehead. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE SIXTH BACK IS OPEN If the center of executive will is open, one's ideas follow the appropriate action to make them materialize in the physical world. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE SECOND SIXTH IS CLOSED The executive will is closed, ideas have no outlet on the material plane, they become frustrated and the person has a bad time. FUNCTIONS OF THE PITUITARY GLAND (also called hypophysis). Organ variable, cylindrical or ovoid, reddish gray. The pituitary is made up of two completely different parts in structure and function: the anterior pituitary and the neurohypophysis. Page 85

As a central endocrine organ, it occupies a position of first order in regulating the hormonal balance of the organism, since it not only produces hormones that act directly (growth hormones) but hormones that monitor the hormonal activity of the other endocrine glands. Its activity is in turn influenced influenced by substances elaborated by the hypothalamus and by the hormones of other glands elaborated under its influence. Hormones of the adenohypophysis: STH: growth hormone in addition to diabetogenic factor. TSH: hormone that stimulates the production of hormones by the thyroid. FSH: hormone that stimulates the sexual glands. LH: hormone that causes ovulation and prepares the formation of the corpus luteum. LTH: hormone responsible for the maintenance of the corpus luteum and the production of milk by the mammary gland. MSH: hormone that stimulates melanophores, skin cells dedicated to the formation of pigment. Hormones stored and distributed by the neurohypophysis (elaborated in the hypothalamus): ADH: antidiuretic action hormone that causes an increase in blood pressure. Oxytocin: hormone that stimulates uterine muscle contraction and the expulsion of milk from the mammary gland after delivery. RF: releasing factors that regulate the hormonal production of the pituitary gland. Page 86

SEVENTH CHAKRA SAHASRARA (Multiplied by a thousand). SEVENTH (Crown Center): Integration of the total personality with life and the spiritual aspects of humanity. It is related to the connection of the person with their spirituality and with the integration of their whole being, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE SEVENTH IS OPEN It is likely that the person experiences his spirituality very often in a very personal and exclusive way. This spirituality is not defined dogmatically, nor is it expressed in words; it is rather a state of being, a state of transcendence from mundane reality to infinity; it goes beyond the physical world and creates in the individual a sense of fullness. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE SEVENTH IS CLOSED When this center is closed, the person does not have, probably that "cosmic feeling" and does not understand what others are talking about when they refer to it. FUNCTIONS OF THE PINEAL GLAND (also called hephiphisis) Considered by ancient philosophers as the repository of the soul, it faces the pituitary gland. Its dimensions can change with age, however, from the seventh year of age this gland undergoes a progressive involution. There are many data that suggest that the secretion of the pineal gland is not constant and that the appropriate stimuli for secretion to occur are the luminous stimuli, thus providing a "circulating clock" to the organism; it is speculated that it can therefore constitute an important part of the mechanisms that govern cyclical activities: sleep, wakefulness, etc. Hormones of the pineal gland: Melatonin: hormone capable of lightening the skin, exerting an antagonistic action with respect to the pituitary menopaphous hormone. Another action is the inhibitor of the development of the gonads. (it is responsible for the modulation of sleep patterns, and it has an important influence on memory in the long term) Adrenoglomerulotropina: hormone that stimulates the secretion of aldostesona. Page 87

BALANCE THE CHAKRAS Here I detail the entire procedure (steps) to balance the 7 chakras with Reiki (procedure on a stretcher). There are many ways to unlock, balance and harmonize the chakras: With Reiki. With Pendulum. With Tibetan and Quartz Bowls. With Reiki of the Rainbow. And surely there are other methods. The first thing we should do is prepare the chakras for their balance, giving Reiki for a few minutes to each of them. Then, with both hands (or with the dominant hand) on the chakra, we will open it, making a circular movement in the opposite direction to the hands of the clock, for 3 times. 1.- Position: 1st with 7th chakra. We give Reiki to both chakras for 2-3 minutes. 2.- Position: 2nd with 6th chakra. We give Reiki to both chakras for 2-3 minutes. Page 88

3.- Position: 3rd with 5th chakra. We give Reiki to both chakras for 2-3 minutes. 4.- Position: 3rd with 4th chakra. We give Reiki to both chakras for 2-3 minutes. 5.- Position: 4th chakra. In this position we finish the balancing process. And, with both hands (or with the dominant hand) on each chakra, we will close it with a circular movement in a clockwise direction, for 3 times. We can do this process individually or incorporate it into a Reiki session. Finally, we can harmonize the energy field by touching a large Tibetan bowl. Page 89

Healing Meditation of White Light We sit in in a quiet place in a comfortable position with a straight back, without crossing our arms or legs. If silence is uncomfortable, listening to soft and relaxing music could help. We close our eyes and put our hands in the position of the cosmic mudra or Hokkai-Join (which means to join), it is the mudra associated with Zen meditation. For a few minutes we become aware of the space we are in, our sitting position, our body, our mind, our thoughts and our breathing. Now that we are relaxed here and at the present moment... We start by concentrating on our breathing, observing how the air goes in and out through our nose. Little by little, we move away from the mental turmoil and focus on all the thoughts that come and go. Without accepting or rejecting them we just let them go. We always keep the concentration in the movement of our breathing. We visualize a white beam of light that descends towards us onto our crown. It is a beam of pure and healing bright white light. It enters through the crown of our head... It fills our whole head with pure and healing bright white light. We feel how each cell of our head is illuminated and healed. It goes deeper... It fills our neck with pure and healing bright white light. We feel how every cell of our neck is illuminated and healed. It goes deeper... Page 90

It fills our shoulders with pure and healing bright white light. We feel how each cell of our shoulders is illuminated and healed. It goes deeper... It fills our arms and hands with pure and healing bright white light. We feel how every cell of our arms and hands is illuminated and healed. It goes deeper... It fills our thorax and back with pure and healing bright white light. We feel how each cell of our thorax and back is illuminated and healed. It goes deeper... It fills our plexus and lumbar with pure and healing bright white light. We feel how each cell of our plexus and lumbar is illuminated and healed. It goes deeper... It fills our hips, sex and buttocks with pure and healing bright white light. We feel how every cell of our hips, sex and buttocks is illuminated and healed. It goes deeper... It fills our legs and feet with pure and healing bright white light. We feel how every cell of our legs and feet is illuminated and healed. Now our whole body is illuminated by pure and healing bright white light. We visualize... Small beams of pure and healing bright white light come out through every pore of our skin, illuminating our entire aura healing our entire external energy field. We focus on our state of inner peace. We focus again on our breathing. For a few minutes we become aware of our mind, our body and the space we are in. We open our eyes slowly and remain still for a moment. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We finish the meditation. Page 91

Gassho Meditation Gassho meditation is the original meditation of Usui Sensei, the creator of Reiki. Its purpose is to deepen the inner self of the person who performs the meditation and help to channel energy better. Nowadays, it has become a very useful way to relax and eliminate stress. It helps you to concentrate on your physical body and separates you from your mind, which is the secret of an effective meditation. Let's start the practice! We sit on a chair with a straight back, and a natural and correct position of our head. We join palms together at the height of the heart (4th chakra), close our eyes, relax our body and concentrate on our breathing, away from any concern or thought. Firstly, we become aware of our breathing, we inhale and exhale, and feel the air entering and exiting through our nose, we observe the movement of our body when breathing. We breathe in a natural, slow and relaxed way. We move away from our thoughts, without rejecting them or embracing them, we let them go. We return to our breathing. Now we bring our attention to our middle fingers. We inhale pressing our fingers and exhale releasing them. We keep our attention on our middle fingers. (3 minutes) We inhale pressing our middle fingers and exhale releasing them. (Repeat it 3 times) Now, we bring our attention to the crown of the head (7th chakra) and imagine that we inhale through the top of the head. We imagine the air entering through the top of the head. We inhale through the crown of the head pressing our middle fingers and exhale releasing our fingers. (Repeat it 3 times) Now, we bring our attention to the base of our spine and imagine that when exhaling, the air comes out through the base of our spine. We feel the air flowing down the back and coming out through the base of our spine. We inhale through the crown of the head pressing our middle fingers and exhale through the base of the spine releasing our middle fingers. We inhale through the crown of the head pressing our middle fingers and exhale through the base of the spine releasing our middle fingers. We inhale through the crown of the head pressing our middle fingers and exhale through the base of the spine releasing our middle fingers. Page 92

We inhale through the crown of the head pressing the middle fingers and exhale through the base of the spine releasing our middle fingers. We inhale through the crown the head pressing the middle fingers and exhale through the base of the spine releasing our middle fingers. We inhale through the crown the head pressing the middle fingers and exhale through the base of the spine releasing our middle fingers. We inhale through the crown the head pressing the middle fingers and exhale through the base of the spine releasing our middle fingers. To finish, we can thank the energy for the moment of tranquility we have felt and exhale deeply 3 times. We drop our hands gently on our legs, and relax our legs and arms. We take a moment to observe the relaxation and tranquility of our body. We open our eyes slowly and leave the meditation The text of the meditation is a transcription of the audio made by the Spanish Federation of Reiki. In the following link you can download a copy of the audio: Master Janc in Gassho position. Page 93

Golden Spheres Meditation We sit in a comfortable position with a straight back, without crossing our arms or legs, we rest our hands on our legs and concentrate on our breathing and how the air comes in and out through our nose. We visualize in our 1st Chakra (Sex) a sphere of brilliant golden light. We visualize in our 2nd Chakra (Belly button) a sphere of brilliant golden light. We visualize in our 3rd Chakra (Stomach) a sphere of brilliant golden light. We visualize in our 4th Chakra (Heart) a sphere of brilliant golden light. We visualize in our 5th Chakra (Throat) a sphere of brilliant golden light. We visualize in our 6th Chakra (Forehead) a sphere of brilliant golden light. We visualize in our 7th Chakra (Crown of the head) a sphere of brilliant golden light. We visualize the 7 spheres of brilliant golden light rotating on their axis. We visualize how the sphere located in the 1st Chakra rises towards our central channel travelling through our entire body, comes out through the crown of our head and stands 10 centimeters from our head. Page 94

We visualize how the sphere located in the 2nd Chakra rises towards our central channel travelling through our entire body, comes out through the crown of our head and stands above the first sphere. We visualize how the sphere located in the 3rd Chakra rises towards our central channel travelling through our entire body, comes out through the crown of our head and stands above the second sphere. We visualize how the sphere located in the 4th Chakra rises towards our central channel travelling through our entire body, comes out through the crown of our head, and stands above the third sphere. We visualize how the sphere located in the 5th Chakra rises towards our central channel travelling through our entire body, comes out through the crown of our head, and stands above the fourth sphere. We visualize how the sphere located in the 6th Chakra rises towards our central channel travelling through our entire body, comes out through the crown of our head, and stands above the fifth sphere. We visualize how the sphere located in the 7th Chakra rises towards our central channel travelling through our entire body, comes out through the crown of our head, and stands above the sixth sphere. We visualize the 7 spheres of bright golden light above our head turning on their axis and radiating bright golden light. We focus on our state of inner peace. We focus again on our breathing. For a few minutes we become aware of our mind, our body, and the room we are in. We open our eyes slowly and remain still for a moment. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We finish the meditation. 96 Shakyamuni Buddha Mantra The mantra "OM MUNI MUNI MAHA MUNI SHAKYAMUNIYE SOHA" is extremely important for those of us who practice Buddhism, as it is the mantra of our spiritual father Buddha Shakyamuni. Recite this mantra 108 times whenever we want. Shakyamuni is the name of the historical Buddha, and the interpretation of this mantra is: "Shakyamuni has developed the capacity of victory over all negative energies, deceit and death, and has transcended all types of physical, mental and environmental suffering, therefore he is the Great Victim." OM invokes the energy of the body, the word and mind of pure Buddha crystal, for inner and outer peace and happiness in our lives. The tranquility and absolute mental happiness. MUNI: means the determination to renounce samsara, or the intense desire to get rid of all suffering and to find permanent peace. MUNI means the determination to maintain the motivation of an altruistic mind, the mind of Bodichitta (enlightened mind), the great heart that wishes to help everyone. MAHA MUNI represents the correct view of reality, this is the perception that all phenomena are of an empty nature, absent from concepts and that they do not have an independent existence. SHAKYAMUNIYE represents the rapid path from tantra to enlightenment. SOHA means "please grant us these realizations to obtain the cure". It means dedicating our energy for the benefit of all beings. Source; Page 96

Buddha of Medicine Mantra The mantra and the Buddha's image of medicine are very good for physical and mental health. Meditating on the image of the Buddha of medicine with Tibetan bowls is highly recommended. It is used for all kinds of ailments and obstacles. It is recited 108 times by visualizing the Blue Buddha of Medicine, or in its place, a sphere of blue light, which in essence represents the Buddha of Medicine. They can be visualized on the forehead or crown. When reciting the mantra, the reciter visualizes rays of light and nectar that emanate from the sphere of light, penetrate through the crown and cleanse all diseases, tensions and blockages. At the end of the prayer, the figure of the Buddha dissolves on the crown until it reaches the heart, where its blessings are felt. With the same procedure you can get curative water. Increase the power of medications and medical treatments. It is useful to recite the mantra while visualizing how the Medicine Buddha spills over the medicine we are taking, imagining that it is filled with the luminous nuclear energy of the Buddha of Medicine. TAYATA OM BEKANZE BEKANZE MAHA BEKANZE RANTZA SAMUNGATE SOHA Mantra of the Buddha of Medicine sung by Lama Zopa Rinpoche. Link: Source: Book: Reiki and the Buddha of Healing Maureen J. Kelly.
