1 DILIGENTIA FERTILIS VIRTUS Arise, Shine; For Thy Light Is Come, And The Glory Of The LORD Is Risen Upon Thee DOXA ELITE BIBLE COLLEGE is a non-denominational interracial, Holy Ghost led and Proof Producing School for this dispensation. DEBC is committed to a Philosophy in Christian Education: Training and Building the Total Man - (Spirit, Soul, and Body) to the depths and heights of spiritual and academic diligence, accountability, productivity and excellence. DOXA ELITE BIBLE COLLEGE builds on the polarity of scriptural doctrine and practical ministry orientation. We explore both theoretical and Biblical concepts, as well as pragmatic and practical applications. DEBC pursues a fivefold ministry orientation (Ephesians 4:11) with more emphasis on Revival, Reformation and Restoration of Kingdom Apostolic Order and Glory. DEBC presents teaching with strong doctrinal emphasis, keeping the focus on the Scriptures as the standard of faith and pattern for ministry. The Word, Logos and Rhema, both come to life in a real and experiential way in the dynamic power of the Spirit and the substance of revealed Truth. Through Jesus Christ you have been made the express image of God the Father. You are called as a Priest & and a King with spiritual empowerment to demonstrate the DOXA Glory of the Father. Jesus said: Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. The Global Church arises in the power of both Spirit and Word. This is the cutting edge of what God is doing today, as He has taken the Church from the years of the inspirational Pentecostal and Charismatic outpouring to a new season of Kingdom Apostolic Order. Kingdom Apostolic Order is not here to negate the Pentecostal/Holiness and the Charismatic Movements, but rather will be a combination of the two The Spirit and the Word. Ministry training for the Body of Christ must advance beyond the rigid patterns of traditional training to a grassroots pattern of training all of God s people, those willing to pursue Gods advancing purposes. It is with the grand purpose of revival, reformation and restoration that we are working together to achieve a World-Changing, Global Transformation and Kingdom Apostolic Advancement Agenda. Ministry materials that comprise the curriculum of study are unique, derived from revelation received from the Holy Spirit by carefully selected, mature, seasoned teachers of the Word. studies, reflects principles proven by real ministry experience and reflects Kingdom Apostolic orientation to ministry. DEBC materials will go deep into your spirit as you study and you will be motivated to live by the principles learned and to grow into the God-designed destiny for which God has called you. God is raising an army of spiritual warriors for the greatest end-time harvest of souls of which you are a part. Hence, make yourself available for spiritual training. DEBC will empower you to take your place in the ranks of God s Special Forces. Endeavor to take your place in God s end-time plan by responding to God s call on your life. This is your season to fulfill your purpose. Let your name be remembered in the corridors of heaven that you lived and fulfilled your purpose in life, leaving a legacy for unborn generations. Prayerfully consider becoming a student of this end-time Bible school where you can receive good and sound instruction from seasoned men and women of God. You will not regret your decision. TO BIBLE STUDY - 3 CDT HRS This course focuses on the basic principles of hermeneutics (the methodological principles of interpretation) and the methodology of Bible study. Hermeneutics: Introduction to Bible Study is designed to give the new student a solid foundation for intensive Bible study. The course presents the Word of God in a literary and inspired perspective, placing emphasis on the importance of interpreting biblical passages in its textual and historical context. RS 105: Theology of Worship - Topics Include: The Tabernacle of Moses, The Tabernacle of David &The Book of Psalms (3 Credit Hours) First Year - Course Outline DM 817: REVIVAL, 5-FOLD MINISTRY PARADGM, CHURCH PLANTING - 3 CDT HOURS This course focuses on understanding the dynamics of revival and Church planting. The various waves of the Holy Spirit throughout centuries are explained while providing reasons for such occurrences today. Emphasizing God s kingdom principles and matters of revival, reformation, and restoration; the Greatest Harvest of Souls; and socioeconomic transformation, the believer is reminded of his responsibility in the Great Commission. RS441: CHURCH ADMIN. This course introduces the subject of management, identifies leadership positions, Biblical concept of leadership and stresses the importance of the role of leadership and management skills in Christian Ministry. Biblical principles of leading like a servant and shepherd and qualifications for leaders are also discussed. Major tasks of leaders are reviewed, with emphasis on decisionmaking and handling conflicts. Guidelines for training leaders and followers are given, and principles of success and reasons for failure examined. Emphasis is placed on the context of Management in Community Service, preparing the student to support Community Leadership. Strategic planning, staffing, and management are explored in ways that those serving in ministry can understand and appropriate. Practical application will be emphasized. RS 437: CHRISTOLOGY - 3 CDT HRS Christology, which is the theological study of the person, deeds, and teachings of Jesus Christ, analyzes the development of Christ s doctrine from a biblicalexposition perspective. Moreover, this course provides a detailed, contemporary theological study of the personhood of Jesus Christ. Special attention will be given to the Christological controversies and the resolutions of the councils that dealt with such controversies during the early Christian centuries. The student will develop a personal Christology rooted in scripture and tradition. RS 439: PNEUMATOLOGY: FROM A PENTECOSTAL AND CHARISMATIC PERSPECTIVE - 3 CREDIT HOURS This is an-depth study of the Holy Spirit: presentation about the Holy Spirit baptism from a classical Pentecostal and charismatic perspective: explaining the distinctions between the Holy Spirit baptism, the new birth, and the baptism in the Holy Spirit. It emphasizes the miraculous gifts of the Holy Spirit that should be manifested in today's Church. This course affirms that glossolalia (speaking in tongues) is the general, Biblical proof of Holy Spirit baptism. The Bible is the main textbook for this course, which is combined with course and supplemental texts. RS438: ESCHATOLOGY & KINGDOM AGENDA - 3 CREDIT HRS Eschatology reviews classical concepts regarding the end of the world and the destiny of mankind from Christian and contemporary point of views. The return of Christ, the resurrection of the dead, the apocalypse, the final judgment, and the eternal state of man will be explored with a hermeneutical approach; therefore, interpretive study of Biblical passages concerning the final things will be applied according to the scriptures and Christian tradition. RS 110: PRAYER, DEMONOLOGY, SPIRITUAL WARFARE 3 CREDIT HOURS This study gives attention to the strategies of spiritual warfare. Learning to use our God-given authority is key to successful, Christian living and revival in the Church. CH505: SURVEY OF CH HISTORY 3 CDT HRS Church history is the heart of His story and God s kingdom work on earth. This course explores the development of the Christian church from Pentecost to the present day. It covers key people and events that God used throughout history to bolster His church and the negative influences that infected her. The goal of the course is to use lessons from church history to advance the kingdom of God in life and ministry. (This course is integrated with the Institute of Theological Studies: CH506: The History of the Church to the Reformation and CH507: History of the Church since Reformation. GE 220: FINANCIAL INTEGRITY & STEWARDSHIP 3 CREDIT HOURS Designed to prepare students to develop and maintain integrity in Christian ministry in finances and issues of stewardship. It discusses the spiritual/physical blockades to financial accountability, proper use and disbursement of personal, family and ministry funds; budgeting; ethical fundraising and matters of the local Church. BI 102: NEW TESTAMENT SURVEY - 3 CRDT HRS This course provides an overview of the New Testament, with a brief introduction to each of the 27 Books of the Protestant canon, and a concise summary of their contents, enabling the learner to correctly relate the parts of the New Testament to each other, and to the Old Testament. The module allows the learners to enrich their knowledge of the Bible and their ability to read each part intelligently, with an understanding of the context in which each book occurs and of how doctrine evolved gradually over the centuries. Armed with this knowledge, students are able to develop their ability to relate the Bible and its contents to daily life and to Christian witness. CI 101: MAJOR RELIGIONS OF THE WORLD & NEW TESTAMENT PROPHETIC MIN. - 3 CDT HRS This course examines the following: Non-Christian Religions, The New Age Religion, Cult and Occult, NT Prophetic Ministry. Personal prophecy and the prophetic ministry are by no means new to the Church. We find personal prophecy all the way back in the Garden of Eden (Gen. 2:23, 24), and the ministry of the prophet stretching from Genesis to Revelation (Gen. 2, Rev. 11:10). The Bible is literally saturated with examples of these two subjects. In spite of their high profile, there is relatively little written on these subjects from a modern day, practical perspective.
