THE LISTING OF THE 12 1 Then Jesus called his twelve disciples and gave them power over every unclean spirit to cast them out from man and to heal every sickness and every plague. 2 These are the names of the twelve disciples, called Apostolos: Simon, called Petros, and Andrea, his brother, 3 Philipos, and Bortolameos, and James called Jimi, and John, his brother, sons of Zebedeel, Thomas and Matthew, that is Matio, who by reputation was a lender of [money] for interest, James Aluphei and Tereos. 4 Simon the Canaanite, that is Simon Cananayos, and Juda Ascareyotah, who after this betrayed him.
THE LISTING OF THE 12 10:1Jesus summoned His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every kind of disease and every kind of sickness. 2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; and James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; 3 Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; 4 Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, the one who betrayed Him.(Matt. 10:1-4 NAU)
1.Simon Peter(Simon = Heb: Simeon: God Heard): He Was Called SimonBarjona(Simon Son of Jonah;Matt 16:17) or Simon Yoaneis (Son of John; John 21:15). He preached the Gospel in Pontus, and Galatia, and Cappadocia, and Betania, and Italy, and Asia, and was afterwards crucified by Nero in Rome with his head downward, as he had himself desired to suffer in that manner. Hippolytus, The Twelve Apostles He Was the Bishop of the Church of Antioch in A.D.41; He Founded Many Churches in Asia Minor in A.D.42, to Who He Wrote the Book of 1 Peter in c.a.d.44; He Founded the Church of Rome in A.D.43. He Attended the Jerusalem Council in A.D.49. He Wrote 2 Peter in c.a.d.67, and Was Crucified on March 31, A.D.68.
1.Simon Peter: Jesus Gave Simon the Nickname Peter(Gk: Petros, Small Pebble), and Jesus Said that He Will Found His Church on a Petra(Giant Rock). It Is a Pun in Greek. Based on Christ s Statement about Peter Being the Foundation of the Church and the Gate Keeper of Heaven, Catholics Argue for the Primacy of the Bishop of Rome. Protestants Argue that PetraIs the Confession that Peter Just Made about Jesus: You are the Christ, the Son of the living God (Matt 16:16), Not Peter the Person. The Hebrew Matthew, Has Another Pun in Hebrew: You are a stone (Heb: aven), and I will build (Heb: avenah) upon you my house of prayer.
1.Simon Peter: 16 Simon, called Petros, answered and said: You are the Messiah, that is Kristos, the Son of the living God, who has come into this world. 17 Jesus said to him: Blessed are you Simon bar Jonah because flesh and blood has not revealed [this] to you but my father who is in heaven. 18 I say to you: you are a stoneand I will buildupon you my house of prayer. The gates of Gehenna will not prevail against you 19 because I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven; whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. (Hebrew Matthew 16:16-19)
1.Simon Peter: 16 Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." 17 And Jesus said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18 "I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. 19 "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven." (Matt. 16:16-19 NAU)
1.Simon Peter: Protestants Can No Longer Argue by Humbling Peter; They Can Argue Not to Exalt the Bishop of Rome. 2.Andrew(Andrea, Gk: Andreas, Manly) He preached to the Scythians and Thracians, and was crucified, suspended on an olive tree, at Patrae, a town of Achaia; and there too he was buried. Hippolytus, The Twelve Apostles Andrew Loved to Lead people to See Jesus (John 12:22) Simon and Andrew Were Mangers for a Fishing Company Owned by James and John, the Sons of Zebedee.

Judas, son of James 11. Simon the Zealot 12. Judas I. 12 Judas I. 12. Judas I. (12. Matthias) 12 Judas
3.Philip(Philipos: One Who Loves Horse): Philip Was from Bethsaida, the Home Town of Andrew and Peter [in Birth Order?] (John 1:44), Business Partner? He preached in Phrygia, and was crucified in Hierapolis with his head downward in the time of Domitian, and was buried there Hippolytus, The Twelve Apostles 4. Bartholomew/Bartolameos ( Son of Ptolemaeus?) = Nathaniel( Gift of God ; John 1:45-51; 21:2) of Cana. He again, preached to the Indians, to whom he also gave the Gospel according to Matthew, and was crucified with his head downward, and was buried in Allanum, a town of the great Armenia. Hippolytus, The Twelve Apostles Was He the One Who Got Married in Cana? (John 2:1-11)
5.John, the Son of Zebedee A Son of Zebedee (High Priestly Stock; John 18:15) and Salome (Sister of Mary, the Mother of Jesus, Matt 4:21-22; 27:56; Mark 15:40; John 19:25). He Was Called by Jesus as Boanerges( Son of Thunder ), Perhaps for Having a Tempestuous Personality(Being Rich Man s Kid [Spoiled Brat]; cf. Mark 3:17; Luke 9:51-56) Again, in Asia, was banished by Domitian the king (Reign A.D.81-96)to the isle of Patmos, in which also he wrote his Gospel and saw the apocalyptic vision; and in Trajan s time (Reign: A.D ) he fell asleep at Ephesus, where his remains were sought for, but could not be found. Hippolytus, The Twelve Apostles
6.James(the Greater): A Son of Zebedee (of High Priestly Stock) and Salome the Sister of Mary, the Mother of Jesus, Probably the Elder Brother of John. Both Were Called by Jesus as Boanerges ( Son of Thunder ), Perhaps for Having Tempestuous Personality (Mark 3:17; Luke 9:51-56). His brother, also when preaching in Judea, was cut off with the sword by Herod the tetrarch, and was buried there. Hippolytus, The Twelve Apostles Actually, the One Who Killed James in A.D.42 Was King Herod Agrippa I, He ruled over Judea in A.D James and John Were of High Priestly Stock. They Were Rich and Had Bad Temper. They Owned a Fishing Company Managed by Peter and Andrew.
7. Thomas He Is Also Called Didymus, the Double [Mistraslated as the Twin ], because He Always Sees the Negative Side of Everything (cf. John 11:16; 21:2). He Bravely Would Die with Jesus. But He Is the Doubter, Who Was Last Convinced of Jesus Resurrection. He preached to the Parthians, Medes, Persians, Hyrcanians, Bactrians, and Margians, and was thrust through in the four members of his body with a pine spear at Calamene, the city of India, and was buried there. Hippolytus, The Twelve Apostles The Church in India Remember Thomas as Its Founder, and that He Sent the Gospel to China.
8. Matthew Levi, the Tax Collector ( Publican ) He Was Originally Called Levi(Luke 5:27-31) He Was the Son of Alpheus (Mark 2:14), a Half Brother of James the Son of Alpheus (James the Less). Levi Was from Alpheus Previous Marriage, while James (the Less) Was from Alpheus and Mary the Mother of James the Less and Joses (Mark 15:40; John 19:25). He Was a Money Lender (Banker) acc. to the Heb Matthew, but a Tax Collector acc. to the Grk Matthew. [Shifting the Blame from the Jews to the Romans?] He wrote the Gospel in the Hebrew tongue, and published it at Jerusalem (c.a.d.35), and fell asleep at Hierees, a town of Parthia. Hippolytus, The Twelve Apostles
9. Jamesthe Less, Aluphi (the Son of Alphaeus): He Was Born of Mary the Mother of James the Less and Joses, who had James the Less from a Previous Marriage to Alphaeus, and Joses from Clopas/Cleopas (Mark 15:40; John 19:25; Luke 24:18). Clopas Was the Brother of Joseph, the Earthy Father of Jesus Christ (acc. to Hegesippas; cf. Church History by Eusebius). Thus James the Less and Matthew Levi Were both Cousins of Jesus, as Was James and John, the Sons of Zebedee. He when preaching in Jerusalem, was stoned to death by the Jews, and was buried there beside the temple. Hippolytus, The Twelve Apostles
10. Thaddaeus/Thereos (Matt 10:2-3 ), Judas the Son of James (Lk 6:14-16; Acts 1:13), Judas Not Iscariot (John 14:22), Lebbaeus (Hippolytus): Jude, who is also called Lebbaeus, preached to the people of Edessa, and to all Mesopotamia, and fell asleep at Berytus, and was buried there.. Hippolytus, The Twelve Apostles 11. Simon the Zealot, the son of Clopas, who is also called Jude, became bishop of Jerusalem after James the Just, and fell asleep and was buried there at the age of 120 years. Hippolytus, The Twelve Apostles He Is the Son of Clopas from a Previous Marriage, before Clopas Married Mary the Mother of James and Joses after She Became a Widow of Alphaeus. Thus Simon Jude Was a Step-Brother of James the Less, a Half brother of Joses, and a Step Brother of Matthew Levi, the Son of Alphaeus.
HOW DID THE 12 THINK 12. Judas Iscariot: He Was the Only One of the 12 Who Was Not from Galilee, but the More Spiritual Judea. He Became the Money Bag-Man for Jesus, and Sat at the Right Hand of Jesus. Among the 12: 5 of the 12 Were Cousins of Jesus, the Christ, the Son of David, the Coming King of Israel. (The Top 2 of the 70 Apostles Are His Brother [James] and Uncle [Clopas]). They Were Taught to Memorize the Sermon on the Mount, and Preach a Spiritual Kingdom, instead of the Full Kingdom. They Would Have Great Confidence, but Hard to Practice Giving the Other Cheek.
