One Year Bible Intercessors... During this week, on America's Memorial Day and Israel's Jerusalem Day, let us pray for life, L'Chaim, from our Lord God and Creator!!! In Jesus' Name. Amen. "He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth. Yes, all kings shall bow down before Him; all nations shall serve Him. He will spare the poor and needy, and will save the souls of the needy. He will redeem their life from oppression and violence; and precious shall be their blood in His sight. And He shall live." ("Glory and Universality of the Messiah's Reign" A Psalm of Solomon. Psalm 72:8,11,13 and NKJV) Memorial Day for America...Monday, May 26th
Memorial Day...A Traditional Observance Memorial Day is a US federal holiday wherein the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces are remembered.the holiday, which is celebrated every year on the final Monday of May, was formerly known as Decoration Day and originated after the American Civil War to commemorate the Union and Confederate soldiers who died in the Civil War. By the 20th century, Memorial Day had been extended to honor all Americans who have died while in the military service. It typically marks the start of the summer vacation season, while Labor Day marks its end. Memorial Day is not to be confused with Veterans Day; Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving, while Veterans Day celebrates the service of all U.S. military veterans. On Memorial Day, the flag of the United States is raised briskly to the top of the staff and then solemnly lowered to the half-staff position, where it remains only until noon. It is then raised to full-staff for the remainder of the day. Memorial Day observances in small New England towns are often marked by dedications and remarks byveterans, state legislators, andselectmen The half-staff position remembers the more than one million men and women who gave their lives in service of their country. At noon, their memory is raised by the living, who resolve not
to let their sacrifice be in vain, but to rise up in their stead and continue the fight for liberty and justice for all. For more Memorial Day information, please go to: Prayers for America... "From Sea to Shining Sea..." (David A. Ziser Photography) Dear God, the True Commander in Chief of the United States of America. May Americans learn this Memorial Day the true meaning of love and sacrifice, as they are described in Your Word in John 15:13: "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends." Your Son, Jesus knew there was no greater love or sacrifice, and willingly gave His life for us....may we sacrificially and lovingly give to You and to others, too. In His Name we pray for Your blessings to be upon America.
May she repent and willingly give her life to You. Amen. Thank You for continuing topray The Lord's Prayer for America, Israel, and for the world and universehe has created... Our Father, Who Art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name, Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will be Done, On Earth as It Is In Heaven. Please Give Us This Day, Our Daily Bread, And Forgive Us Our Trespasses, as We Forgive Those Who Trespass Against Us. Lead Us Not Into Temptation, But Deliver Us From Evil. For Thine Is The Kingdom, and The Power and The Glory, Forever and Ever. Amen.
Prayers for Israel and the Middle East... Several Jewish celebrations will be held this week in Jerusalem and throughout the Jewish Diaspora......First, we continue to pray for Jews to experience the love of HaShem this week as they continue to observe The Counting of the Days of Omer The "Counting of the Omer" is a remembrance of grain offerings of thanksgiving and joy as Jews awaited the giving of YHVH's Law to Moses on what is now Pentecost. The Omer, or the offering of Sheaves of Grain, is daily observed during the fortynine days between Passover and Pentecost... When daily grain offerings were brought into the Temple... First, Sheaves of Barley were brought as First Fruit Offerings for forty-nine days. Then a Wheat Offering was brought as the First Fruit Offering into the Temple on Shavuot/Pentecost...
Commemorating the great day on which Moses was given the Ten Commandments. Second, we ask that Israel be blessed by YHVH with His indwelling presence on Yom Yerushalayim/Jerusalem Day, this Wednesday, May 28th. This is a joyous day that celebrates the reunification of the State of Israel after the Six-Day War in June, And we third, ask humbly YHVH to bless His People as they celebrate a New Moon this Friday - Saturday, that begins the Jewish month of Sivan, this week. Sivan is the month that traditionally has Shavuot/Pentecost celebrated within its calendar days...which is the Remembrance of YHVH Giving His Ten Commandments to Moses... Rosh Chodesh Sivan or the Feast of the New Moon for the Month of Sivan, begins the Jewish Calendar month of Sivan. This month's New Moon feast begins at sundown, Friday, May 30th; and is completed at Sundown, Saturday, May 31st.
In closing, we humbly ask YHVH to guide and shepherd Israel and Jews everywhere in the face of increasing attacks on Jewish centers and people, specifically three Jews killed at the Jewish Museum in Brussels, Belgium (pictured) and a Jewish businessman attacked at his place of business in a Tunisian marketplace. We also ask that YHVH will reveal the truth about Pope Frances' visit this week to Bethlehem and then to Jerusalem. May HaShem be glorified in this event that could put Israel in a bad light and cause international attack against the existence of the State of Israel, once more. We ask that all will know "Am Yisrael Chai," that the people of Israel live! Am Yisrael Chai... As we close, we pray that all of these known prayer requests for Israel, and those requests that are known only to YHVH, will be heard and answered to save Israel. In the Mighty Name of Yeshua we pray.
Amen. "Give us help from trouble, for the help of man is useless. Through God we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall tread down our enemies." 11 Barley Sheaves... Wheat Sheaves... During this week, Jews will continue the forty-nine days of the Counting of the "Omer" or 'Sheaves,'" in Hebrew called Sefirat Ha'omer, now through this year's Feast of Shavuot/Festival of Weeks or Pentecost/Fiftieth Day, Sunday, June 8th. 12 The Hebrew Aleph-Bet These daily special readings are from Psalm 119, "Meditations on the Excellencies of the Word of God." Rivers of water run down from my eyes, because men do not keep Your law." ("Meditations on the Excellencies of the Word of God" Psalm 119: 105, 125, NKJV) For Those New to Our One Year Bible and Readings...Welcome! For our faithful intercessors and readers, we have developed a "One Year Bible and Torah Readings Letter," with an attached amplified weekly Sunday-Saturday "One Year Bible" Word document that includes One Year Bible Scripture references, as well as their chapter headings. Our history is that to learn more about our Judeo-Christian roots, over four years ago, we added into the existing "One Year Bible" weekly letter, the traditional Shabbat Torah/Old Testament and Haftarah/Prophets Readings read by observant
Jews worldwide. We have also included the Brit Chadashah or New Testament Readings read by Messianic Jews. This easy-to-use format gives us a "heads-up" for daily Scripture readings, and tells us what the weekly Shabbat Torah readings are for Friday and Saturday. We can read and pray through the Bible and Torah readings, and compare their teachings to world, national, state and local headlines; as well as to situations in our daily personal and business lives! Again, attached to this letter is this week's "Word" document of One Year Bible Readings amplified with chapter headings. As the Lord leads, I have highlighted key verses in purple...his color of royalty. God Is So Good! In closing, I pray that you will be blessed as you read God's Word in His "Amplified One Year Bible" and in His Messianic Torah, Haftarah/Prophets and Brit Chadashah/New Testament Readings. I pray that our combined prayers, covering America, Israel and the Whole World that He has Created, will help establish God's Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven! I ask that God will richly bless all who read and pray with God's Word. I ask God to bless the faithful who pray for America, Israel and the Whole World that He has Created, in the Day and Night Watches! And I pray, that God will bless all who follow His Leading and His Word... May many be added to His flock daily, for His Glory, until Jesus Returns!
In Jesus' Name we pray. Amen. Susan Turner, Scribe Amplified One Year Bible and Torah Readings P.S.
