Brother Nkhtnkh (Life of Might), Third Compny Chmpion Brother Nkhtnkh is nother vetern of the Dmocles Crusde nd is esy to recognize on the field due to the pieces of Tu bttle suits he hs fitted to his rmor. His scrs belies his preference for fighting without his helmet, something he believes llows him to better intimidte his foe. 13 ggthe I hkeb: Fourth Through Seventh Compnies Fourth through Seventh Compnies of the Nesewdjet-Nedjety becme Compny Roster knows s the I hkeb or Mourning 1x 10 mn Compny HQ Section commnded by librrin Compnies following the events of 2x 10 mn Assult Squd the Bttle of Sigmus 4. It ws in this 6x 10 mn Tcticl Squd 2x 10 mn Devsttor Squd conflict their thirst for vengence 6x Drednought nd the tste of pprent victory 4x Rhino trnsports led them into the trp set by the 10x Lnd Speeder support crft 10x Predtor Armored Fighting Vehicles Iron Wrriors. The result of this 6x Lnd Rider Hevy trnsports led to the ner destruction of ll four compnies nd the deths of their cptins. Only the quick ctions of the librrins ttched to the compnies prevented complete disster while elements of Eighth nd Ninth compnies worked to brek through the Iron Wrrior lines. Following the bttle the bodies of the four slin cptins were never recovered for interment on Argentum nd it is believed the bodies were removed by the Iron Wrriors s they retreted. On Argentum their empty crypts lie mid the Shrine of the I hkeb deep within the fortress monstery of the Nesewsjet-Nedjety kept under constnt vigil by members of the four compnies. The remnnts of the compnies hve long since reformed, vowing to never fill the post of Cptin until the bodies of the slin cptins were recovered nd their mourning complete. As reserve compny, 2x 10 mn Assult Squd mny members hve only recently 6x 10 mn Tcticl Squd received the blck crpce nd hve 2x 10 mn Devsttor Squd been ccepted s full bttle brother. 6x Drednought 10x Rhino trnsports Becuse of the reltive inexperience 20x Rzorbck trnsports of the compny members, vetern 10x Lnd Speeder support crft 8x Predtor Armored Fighting Vehicles sergents re chosen to led the squds nd provide dditionl trining before 4x Lnd Rider Hevy trnsports these mrines re plced in one of the bttle compnies. Experience is reltive term when speking of member of Adeptus Astrtes nd Eighth Compny is often

Despite this close reltion with their brother compny, the mrines of the Eighth Compny re not lwys mobilized to support Third Compny. Nowhere ws this more evident thn t the bttle of Sigmus 4. Becuse of the hevily fortified nture of the plnet, the Nesewdjet-Nedjety Council hd deemed it necessry to retin both the Eighth nd Ninth compnies in support of the opertion. This proved fortuitous with the entrpment nd subsequent decimtion of the I hkeb. Eighth Compny proved their worth on the field s they fought through the closing Iron Wrrior lines in desperte ttempt to brek the grip on the bttered Forth nd Fifth compnies while Ninth Compny fought through to the Sixth nd Seventh. More recently, Eighth Compny ws ctive in support of the opertions on Actoris III nd hve gined gret proficiency in the use of incendiry nd plsm wepons nd it is not uncommon to see Eighth Compny devsttor squds rmed with mix of hevy bolters nd plsm cnnons in support of the mechnized tcticl squds. The tcticl squds lso prefer mix of melt nd flmer wepons, rcing cross the field in their rzorbck trnsports nd burning through enemy formtions under the covering fire of the devsttor squds. No mtter the prowess of the individul mrine, compny will only shine in the hnds of cpble leders. Eighth Compny is currently under the commnd of Brother Cptin Shemesewneset whose msterful ledership hs led the compny to victory on countless bttlefields. As reserve unit, the compny does not mintin compny chmpion.

Compny Roster Although they re in mny respects 1x 10 mn Compny HQ Section 2x 10 mn Assult Squd similr to Eighth Compny, the nture 6x 10 mn Tcticl Squd of their deployment is quite dissimilr 2x 10 mn Devsttor Squd 6x Drednought to tht of the Eighth. In contrst to 20x Rhino trnsports the expeditionry deployments of the 10x Rzorbck trnsports Eighth, Ninth Compny hs been 10x Lnd Speeder support crft 8x Predtor Armored Fighting Vehicles tsked with the defense of Argentum 4x Lnd Rider Hevy trnsports nd in prticulr the fortress monstery of the Nesewdjet-Nedjety, the gret Akhetdjet itself. Here the members of the compny trin constntly for wht my be one dy the defense of their homeworld nd provide liisons for coordintion with the Argentum PDF. This is not to sy tht Ninth Compny is neverdeployed in support of chpter crusdes. Their role ws instrumen-tl in rescuing the bttered Sixth nd Seventh compnies trpped by the Iron Wrriors. This is the only significnt event in the Compny histories. Most of their service hs been obscure nd hidden within the hlls of Argentum though it is known the compny hs been ctive on other worlds. Curiously no records hve been discovered which detil wht the nture of these deployments hve been. It is speculted tht these missions my hve ties to the I hkeb or to intelligence gthering on the movements of the Iron Wrriors in the centuries prior to the the ssult on Bell Aeternus. The Compny chmpion, know s the Mster of the House, is usully the most senior vetern sergent in the compny nd is responsible for the defense of Akhetdjet. To id him in this responsibility, the Gurd of Akhetdjet re plced under his commnd. Tenth compny hs formed n especilly close bond with the I hkeb nd re often deployed in support of these compnies serch for the slin cptins.
