5 B. The Descent of the New Jerusalem, 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.

6 C. Newness in terms of our relationship with God, 3 Look! God s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.

The twelve gates were twelve pearls. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.

12 E. The centrality of worship and purity in heaven, 22, 27; 22:3a I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. Nothing impure will ever enter it no longer will there be any curse.

13 F. The complete absence of sin and danger in heaven, 23, 25; 22:5 The city does not need the sun or the moon, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there.

14 G. The glorious unity of all people groups in heaven, 24, 26 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it.

15 A. Our eternal home will be Paradise = the New Eden Revelation 2:7 To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God

The throne of God and the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him and they will reign forever and ever.
