5 Page: 5 Webmaster Witness Ministries Chair Worship Chair Youth Ministry Director LC-WB LC-WM LC-WO LC-YP The SPR/PPR Committee shall be composed of 5-9 members representative of the total charge. One shall be young adult (age 19-30) and one may be a youth. In addition, the lay leader and a lay Member shall be members. No staff or immediate family of a pastor or staff member may serve. Only one from an immediate family residing in the same household shall serve. To secure experience and stability, the membership shall be divided into 3 classes, one of which shall be elected each year for a 3-year term. The lay Member and lay leader are exempt from the 3-year term [2012 Discipline, 258.2a-b]. 6 Page: 6 The Board of Trustees shall consist of 3-9 persons, and it is recommended that at least 1/3 be laywomen and at least 1/3 be laymen. Trustees shall be of legal age, and at least 2/3 shall be professing members of The UMC. The Board shall be divided into 3 classes, each class as nearly as possible to consist of an equal number of members [ 2012 Discipline, ].
