1 Notes used in the Message am - A Study on the Book of Revelations Pt.71 (Remnant of Her Seed) - Samuel Dale REVELATION 1:1-3» 1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:» 2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.» 3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. REVELATION 12:7-17» 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,» 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.» 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.» 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.» 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.» 12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.» 13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.» 14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.» 15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.» 16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.» 17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

2 1) PALMERWORM.LOCUST.CANKERWORM.CATERPILLAR_ CONNERSVILLE.IN FRIDAY_ «E-37 During this time of Joel's prophecy here, the Church was in a terrible condition: backslid, just prior the coming of the Lord, the first time. And how that the Spirit come upon this prophet and he--he foresaw things. And he saw the--the condition of the Jews. And he saw the condition of the Church in this day. Now, this prophecy, of course, like all other prophecy, has a compound meaning. A prophecy sometime has a natural meaning. Then it has a spiritual meaning. Now, of course, the natural meaning of that, even Dr. Scofield in his footnotes (I'm not a Scofieldite) but--but however, in his footnotes there, he gives that it meant when the Syrians come over and invaded. That's true. But it also had a--a meaning of--of the last days, towards the Armageddon, the coming up of the last days, the condition of the Church spiritually in the last days. 2) DOCTOR.MOSES_ CHICAGO.IL FRIDAY_ «E-16 All Scripture has a compound meaning, or it runs in cycles. For instance, there where it said in Saint Matthew, I believe it was. "Out of Egypt I have called my son." Now, that Scripture that Matthew was referring to was really pertaining to Israel. And God said, "Out of Egypt, I call My son, Israel." He'd called Israel His son out, but it also meant Jesus. "Out of Egypt I've called My Son." See how it routines back? The cycle of time swings back ever so often. History repeats itself, and Scripture repeats itself down through the age. Any scholar knows that, that's ever studied it from a spiritual standpoint to watch how Scripture will repeat itself, run in cycles like that. It certainly does. 3) LIFE_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN SUNDAY_ «E-18 Now, we wonder then the word "life" must have a--a--a compound meaning to it, must mean more than--than--than one thing. Life itself means an existence. So then, if Thy lovekindness is better than life, then what could be any better? Because God alone has Eternal Life. God alone has Eternal Life. If we can get that straight now, it will be easy for us to see the great picture God sets before us. How that someday that everything that isn't of God will vanish and perish and go away. Now, everything that had a beginning has an end. There's nothing that ever began but what has an end. But something that had no beginning has no end. And--and God alone is the only One that had a never beginning. He had no beginning of days nor ending of years. And therefore, we have to become a part of God by birth to live, have an eternal existence. 4) HEAR.YE.HIM_ TACOMA.WA THURSDAY_ «E-14 This is rather an unusual Scripture. And I wish tonight, of course, we know that the real meaning, where most of you ministers refer this Scripture to, is to the Second Coming, the order of the Second Coming of Christ, which is right. It's most certainly right. But every Scripture has a compound meaning. Many times a prophecy will mean a certain thing to happen here, and repeat it over here, again. Like in Saint Matthew, the 3rd chapter, when it said, "Out of Egypt I have called my son." Now, that refers back to calling out Jacob, was His son also, and it meant calling out His Son, Jesus. So it had a compound meaning. Compound, two times that it was meant to be fulfilled. And prophecies of the New Testament come right into this day, to be fulfilled again. And especially, I believe the one, when he said that, "Whosoever shall speak against the Son of man, shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Spirit, shall never be forgiven him." That means for all ages.

3 5) THIS.DAY.THIS.SCRIPTURE.IS.FULFILLED_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN V-3 N-8 FRIDAY_ «56 How He could stand there and say, "This day this Scripture is fulfilled right before your eyes!" How outstanding, how so plainly, and yet those people misunderstood. Why? Is because they took the interpretation of some order of priests that they were listening to. 57 And history always repeats itself. And Scripture has a compound meaning to It, and a compound revelation. 58 For instance, like it says in the Bible, that, "Out of Egypt I have called my son," referring to Jesus. Run the margin on that, and you find out, also referred to Jacob, same Scripture. Jesus was His greater Son. Jacob was His son that He called out of Egypt, which the Scofield reference and all other references give to it, because that's the Scripture it was referring to. So it had a--a double answer; it had a answer to Jacob called out, and to Jesus called out. 59 And so is it today! Is because that we're in such a turmoil as we are, and people fail to see the Truth of God, is because there is too many man-made interpretations of God's Word. God don't need nobody to interpret His Word. He is His Own interpreter. 6) THE.FIRST.SEAL_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN MONDAY_ «361 Now, notice, at the end time--at the end of the church ages, now, he is called--he and his children are called the antichrist, 'cause anything that's against Christ is antichrist. And anything that's against the Word is against Christ, 'cause Christ is the Word. Now, he's antichrist. Then in Revelations 12:7-9, when Satan is cast out, the accuser... You want to put that down, 'cause I want to read it; we haven't got time now, 'cause it's twent--fifteen till ten. See? But in Revelations 12:7-9, Satan the spirit, the devil, which is up there now, accuser of our brethren, all right; the Church is taken up, and Satan is cast out. When the Church goes up, Satan comes down. 4 8) E THE.PATMOS.VISION_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN ROJC SUNDAY_ «3 Now there's another question here that was given me last evening: Brother Branham, are the five foolish virgins of Matthew 25 counted as the Gentile remnant? I understand that the five foolish virgins were saved but have to go through the great tribulation period. Is this correct? If so, what will be their final destination? Could they be the sheep which are divided from the goats in Matthew 25:33 and 34? Pretty good theologian according to what I... [Blank.spot.on.tape--Ed.]... think it too, that they are the remnant, the sleeping virgin is the remnant spoke of in Revelation; of the woman's seed that keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. A woman will take a--a piece of goods and lay it down; well, now, that is what she's cutting her... or takes her pattern and lays anywhere she desires, which way she's going to cut that. And then what she has left over is called the remnant, but she chooses to cut it from a certain place by her own free thinking. But what's left over is called the remnant. Now, if you'll notice, there were five foolish and five wise virgins; all of them was virgins, made out of the same material. But, by election, God chose His Bride by election before the foundation of the world, put their names on the Lamb's Book of Life slain before the foundation of the world; before the world ever began, God in His mind, being infinite. 9) TAKING.SIDES.WITH.JESUS_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN COD FRIDAY_ «55 Now, what I would think, would be this, brethren, that like in the church here now. I... the... My ministry has, the best of my thinking, four things that can be done. And it might not be either four, but that's the only outlook I can think of; if that One that spoke to me down there on the river, if this is all that was left for the Gentile church. Which, we realize, in Revelations, it's just one, two, three chapters to the Church. The Church goes up, in the 4th chapter. It does not return anymore till the 19th chapter, that's after the Tribulation Period when God calls out the Jews. That's right. 56 And like Enoch, he went up before one drop of rain ever hit the earth. He was gone, then the tribulation set in. See? Noah was in the ark before any tribulation set in. Lot was out of Sodom before any tribulation set in. See? And the Church will be gone before any Tribulation Period. 57 Now, during the Tribulation that will be, the sleeping virgin will be hunted down by the dragon, and spurts water from his mouth, which means, "multitudes and people," armies that will search down and take this woman, remnant of her seed, and will kill her. Now, that will be in the Tribulation Period. But the Church will go Home. Now, if--if that take, would take place tomorrow, it wouldn't hinder us from just keeping on today. Let's make today count. 10) M THE.TEN.VIRGINS.AND.THE.HUNDRED.AND.FORTY.FOUR.THOUSAND.JEWS_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN ROJC SUNDAY_ «255 Now, that's the seal of God, we know that.and remember, there's only one hundred and forty-four thousand of the Jews sealed, which was the remnant of the Jews left over. But in this, in the Gentile Bride, in the Gentile Bride, there was tens of thousands times thousands, of those that's sealed in there, 'cause that's them martyrs and things that come down through the ages there; they'll rise in the day of the judgment. What do you think will happen when that brassy judgment feet stands there at that day and them martyrs stand up there before them Romans (perhaps Nicolaitanes back there that had them burnt to stakes and throwed to lions' dens and things like that), and they stand there as their attorney in the ju-... in the jury box here? And the Judge sitting there on the seat, "Did you preach the Gospel to them?" "I sealed my life away yonder in a lion's mouth for them." Ooh, brother! Talk about "depart from Me," hell will be too good for them! That's exactly right.

5 11) M THE.TEN.VIRGINS.AND.THE.HUNDRED.AND.FORTY.FOUR.THOUSAND.JEWS_ JEFFERSONVILLE.IN ROJC SUNDAY_ «316 Now do you understand what the remnant of the Jews is, the hundred and fortyfour thousand? Where they're setting, waiting? Right at the hour. Can you see now that the foolish virgin that won't take the... wouldn't take the Oil, and will have to rise and be separated, the rights and wrongs at the day of the judgment? Do you understand that when the--the foolish virgin begin to receive, just like now, that she needed This, she went after It; it was that very minute that the Bridegroom came? Then how close are we? Right now! We have now in just a short time, I don't know how much longer it might be. I couldn't say when, I--I don't know. Might be another year, it might be another ten years, forty years, might be forty minutes. I--I don't know, I can't say. But I know it's near, it's real near. And the Spirit of the Lord...
