1 2014 Prayer Guide 2014 April 21 - Monday Travel Day Master Singers and mission partners depart from NW Arkansas, Little Rock and Memphis flying overnight east toward Europe and Kiev, Ukraine. Pray for on- time flights. Pray for safe travel. Pray for the baggage to arrive on time. Pray for supernatural rest and comfort during travel. Pray for the Ukrainian staff as they complete preparations. Pray for real joy and faith as they work. Pray for God to cause needy people with open hearts to see the advertising and be drawn to attend the evangelistic concerts. April 22 - Tuesday Arrival in Ukraine The groups will transfer in various European airports to their flights to the Ukrainian capitol of Kiev. Pray for problem- free transfers at airports. Pray for bags containing musical instruments, supplies, and clothing to be transferred correctly. Afternoon and evening arrivals in Zhitomir, and transfer to hotel. Pray for quick, orderly transfers to the hotel in the city center. Pray for ease with check- in and rooming arrangements. Pray for the health and stamina of each person on the team. Pray for immediate unity as the choir and Michael Gott team meet and begin to work together. (Romans 12:5 apply it) Pray that the American team and the Ukrainian support team will have common purpose and heart (Ecclesiastes 9:10 claim it for all) Pray for a good night s rest and for adjustment to the time change. April 23 - Wednesday First Ministry Day Breakfast in the hotel and transfer to church for devotional and lunch. Afternoon bus transfer 53 miles to Korosten population 83,000 Concert One.

Pray for the team to have a strong witness at the hotel where they will sleep and eat breakfast. Ask God to bless Ukraine with beautiful weather during these days. Pray for the organizational meetings on this first concert day as teams plan for distribution of programs and decision cards. (Ecclesiastes 9:17-18) Every morning the team will transfer to our sponsoring church Christmas Baptist Church in Zhitomir for devotional, team meeting and lunch. Lunch will be cooked by the Baptist sisters. Pray that God will make the church staff feel an important part of this ministry. Pray that cultural differences will be quickly overcome and there will be a family spirit between the American team and the Ukrainian church staff. Pray for today s meetings at the church as all ministry teams finalize organization for the concerts this evening (Ecclesiastes 9:17-18) Pray for Master Singers and Director Larry Grayson today as they practice and prepare for this evening s concert. Ask God to give them perfect harmony in heart and voice. The concert has been advertised in newspapers and on public transportation, but the choir and support staff will arrive in Korosten early to hand out invitations to the concert in the city center. Pray that these final fliers will go to searching, hopeless people. Pray for the sound team who will help the choir set up risers, sound equipment and media equipment for each concert (Acts 4:32). Pray for this evening s 7:00 pm concert at Korosten Culture Hall 900 seats. Pray that there will be an overflow crowd. Pray that the media presentation will have great impact as the words of each song are projected in Russian so that the message of forgiveness through Christ will be understood. Pray that many will come to Christ! The tired team will travel back to the hotel arriving at 10:00 pm. Ask God to give each person on the team a good night s sleep.

April 24 - Thursday Second Ministry Day Our ministry city for Thursday is Khmelnitsky Population 262,000-114 miles Pray specifically for our witness in the hotel today.

Pray that the desk managers, housekeepers, and waitresses will all see Christ in the way we speak to them and to each other Pray that God will give the team unusually good health as we eat different foods and travel daily. Pray that our bus transfers to and from the cities for concerts will be a good time of fellowship and praise. Ask God to use this time to unite the team. Ask God to use the church in Khmelnitsky to invite every person in their town to the concert. Ask God to bless their passion to share the message of Christ with their families and neighbors. Pray for the 7:00 pm Concert (11:00 am CDT) concert at Palace of Culture hall 800 seats. Pray that all at the concert will feel the message of the music as they read the words in Ukranian on the screen. Pray that when Evangelist Michael Gott and his interpreter preach the simple, convicting message of forgiveness through Christ, many will turn to Christ in repentance and faith. Pray for joy on the buses as the tired team travels back to Zhitomir. April 25 - Friday Third Ministry Day Tonight s concert will be held in the city of Vinnitsa Population 367,00 80 miles Ask God for the health of all, enough rest for everyone. Ask God for a spirit of refreshing to come to everyone during the daily devotional time. Pray, Lord, send a spirit of revival. Pray that as the team walks through the city of Vinnitsa, they will meet many to whom they can give the 8 x 13 invitation to the evening concerts. (Psalm 57:9) Pray that excitement will be felt throughout the city and for the church to be on fire with a desire to see people saved. (Read Acts 4:33) Ask God to unify the prayer team made up of American and Ukrainian believers as they pray in a separate room during each concert. Pray that God is exalted through music and message at the 7:00 pm concert (11:00 am CDT) at Dom Evangeliya Baptist Church 1,100 seats. Ask God to bring deep conviction to the hearts of the people. Pray that the books, New Testaments and CD s with songs by the choir and a clear gospel message will be treasured and used. Ask God for safety in travel on roads as the buses return to the hotel.

April 26 - Saturday Fourth Ministry Day Tonight s concert is in our home base city of Zhitomir Population 271,000. Ask God to heal every team member and give supernatural strength.

Thank God for the Michael Gott International Ukrainian staff headed by missionary evangelist Valery Sherbina, who worked with each director in every city. Ask God to provide Valery s needs. 7:00 pm concert (11:00 am CDT) at Palace of Culture and Arts 1,200 seats. Ask God to fill it with searching people. Pray that God will begin a deep work in hearts of church members and unbelievers alike, causing them to love Jesus Christ more than anything. Pray for the choir to sing the Gospel with joy and emotion. Pray that the interpreter and Michael Gott will be as one man working together with forceful compassion. Pray for each person at this concert to stay through the message. April 27 - Sunday Fifth Ministry Day Celebrate the Lord s Day in the regional capitol of Zhitomir & Rivne Population 246,000. Pray that the team will awaken with enthusiasm, full of faith. Pray for the follow- up process in each of the cities thus far. Pray that those who responded will be radically saved and that the gift CD with a sermon will be listened to hundreds of times. Pray that many family members and friends who hear the sermon on CD will be converted to Christ (Acts 5:45 claim it for all!) Pray for strength and stamina especially for those who are older and who have health issues (Read and claim (Psalm 92:13-14) Ask God to bless the work of the pastors who minister in the churches where we will worship this morning. Pray strength for the Greeting Team, who will go early every evening to hand out programs before the concert and take up decision cards. After the concert they will hand out CD s and Russian New Testaments. 7:00 pm concert (11:00 am CDT) at Rivne Palace of Culture Concert Hall 800 seats. Ask God that the impact will be area wide. (Read Acts 4:31) Pray for the people of these sister churches that the members will be given a passionate longing to see the lost saved. Pray that this tired team will sing with joy and peace.

April 28 - Monday Sixth Ministry Day The team will minister in the city of Kiev Population 2.7 million Pray for these final days of ministry as we minister to a new hotel staff.

Ask God to give the men and women in the choir strong voices as they sing daily sometimes twice in one day without a free day to rest.

5 April 28 - Monday Sixth Ministry Day The team will minister in the city of Kiev Population 2.7 million Pray for these final days of ministry as we minister to a new hotel staff. Ask God to make each team member culturally sensitive when talking with them. Ask God to give the men and women in the choir strong voices as they sing daily sometimes twice in one day without a free day to rest. Pray that the whole American team will be amazed that God allowed them to be part of the harvest absolutely fulfilled. Pray for the power of the Gospel to be evident with a supernatural evangelistic response (Claim this verse - Acts 5:14). 7:00 pm concert (11:00 am CDT) at Transformation Baptist Church 600 seats. Pray for the entire team, exhausted from hours of ministry; ask God to give them the joy of His presence and supernatural rest. April 29 - Tuesday Seventh Ministry Day Today, we will minister in the city of Belaya Tserkva Population 211, miles. Ask God to visit the devotional time today with His powerful presence and bring every team member to complete dependence on Him. Pray for effective advertisement and that churches will bring non- Christians from small towns and villages surrounding Artemovsk. Pray for our transfer by buses over rough roads. Pray that our bus drivers will attend the concerts and trust Jesus as Savior and Lord. Pray for the 7:00 pm concert (11:00 am CDT) at Belaya Tserkva Concert Hall. Ask God to overcome religious prejudices with Christ s love. Pray for the power of God to fall on the concert (Acts 8:6-9). Pray for God- produced decisions and an effective follow- up to begin. Pray for church leaders to be encouraged and inspired. Pray that the choir and support team will finish strong. (Claim this promise Psalm 94:19) Pray for safe transfers back to the hotel.

6 April 30 - Wednesday Eighth Ministry Day Today the group will minister in the capital of Kiev Population 2.7 million. Pray for the love of Christ to rule in our hearts this day so that we may show Him real to the lost people we meet. Pray for the follow- up in Korosten, Khmelnitsky, Vinnitsa, Zhitomir, Rivne, Belaya Tserkva, and Kiev. Pray that all who received Christ will study the New Testament they were given and follow Him. Ask God for hundreds of people to hear the CD s given as friendship gifts at the concerts. Ask for God s supernatural spreading of the Good News. (Acts 9:31 Read and claim it) Pray for this evening s 7:00 pm concert (11:00 am CDT) at Dom Evangeliya Baptist Church 900 seats. Cry out for God s power to pour over the people as the choir sings and as Michael Gott preaches. Pray for the team as they give their last ounce of strength to call people to Christ. Pray that our time ends in joyful celebration for all that God has done! May 1 - Thursday Ninth Ministry Day Breakfast and packing at the hotel. Walking tour of Kiev with Michael Gott International Students. Lunch at Ukrainian restaurant and shopping in the afternoon. Final dinner at the church with a time of prayer and praise. Pray that each person will wake up today praising God for the privilege to take His Gospel to Ukraine. Pray that the praise time at Dom Evangeliya will give all honor to Jesus Christ and to no human organization. Pray that this final dinner with the church will be a very loving time when the choir and MGI staff can show gratitude. Pray for this final night away from families as the team members prepare to journey home tomorrow. Ask God to give them all peace.

7 May 2 Friday Travel Day all team members take morning flights through Europe and on to home airports for evening arrivals Early (3:00 am) bus transfers to Borispol airport for early flights to Europe and then home. Pray that the airlines check- in of the team members will go perfectly. Pray for on- time, safe flights. Pray for the joy and fulfillment of being totally spent in reaching the lost with the love of Christ to fall over each weary traveler. Pray that God will give rest and comfort on the long flight from Europe. Pray for bags to arrive with team members. Pray for easy disembarkation and customs clearance at airports. Pray for reuniting with family and friends. Ask God to give joyful, peaceful times of sharing what He did in Ukraine. After twelve days of travel and intense evangelism before several thousand unbelievers, there can be a spiritual down even depression. Ask God, by His Spirit, to lift every team member. Pray that the team members will have opportunity to share with home congregations giving God glory and praise for victories they saw. Slava Bog! May 3-5 Saturday - Monday First Days after Mission Team members return to home situations and work. Evangelism and follow- up in Ukraine continues. New believers begin their spiritual journey. Prayer for Ukraine The days of the mission are now over, but the follow- up in Ukraine is just beginning. Pray for the follow- up directors and teams that are now calling and e- mailing each person who made a positive response on their decision card. Ask God to help them to be faithful to the task. Ask God to give them favor and wisdom. Ask God that one of the converts will become the Billy Graham of Ukraine and that one of the young women converted will be his wife. Ask God to bless all Ukrainians who had a part in the events. Go back through this guide and pray for each church and city.

8 May 3-5 Saturday - Monday Continued Prayer for Arkansas Pray for those coming back to worship ministries in Arkansas this Sunday. Ask God to give them rest. Pray that the jet- lag coming westward will be quickly over and that they will be able to minister with joy and enthusiasm in their home churches here. Pray for Arkansas and a spirit of awakening to come as a result of the ministry reports! Pray for Director Larry Grayson and all Master Singers as they continue to sing for the glory of God Pray for Michael and Jan Gott as they continue their work in evangelism. Ask God to give them strength for the task and supernatural finances to do the work to which God has called them. Soli Deo Gloria!
