1 Blog Page PDF Version ~ The New Jerusalem ~ To They That Overcome Part One Hebrews 12:22-29 KJV 22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. 25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: 26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

2 27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our God is a consuming fire. And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. Revelation 11:7-12 KJV He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Revelation 22:11-17 KJV Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. Philippians 3:17-21 KJV There are two basic doctrines concerning the New Jerusalem that I would like to reveal. Both doctrines are equally true, both have impact to our faith and both give the hungry soul the desire to please God. However, both of them do not fit the true desire for they who would overcome all things and be found in God not having anything other than His fullness as their completed portion. The first doctrine is simple indeed. It is that those who are born again form this City. Each soul, born of the Spirit, whether they are in a denomination or not are a part of the New Jerusalem. The New Jerusalem in this doctrine is a picture of the Body of the Lord with Jesus Christ as the head of the body, which is seen outside of all previous denominational adherences or opinions. The born again nature cannot be corrupted as a part of this City in this doctrine. However, these who are joined this way are yet in DUALITY. They may have a life of flesh and blood in the earth and they may be at rest in this complacent situation as part of the Heavenly Host who forms the City. Also, if they have passed from this world they may not have overcome all things in perfection and would have fallen short of God s best for their lives. The members of the New Jerusalem in this situation are free to live lukewarm lives while they live on the earth, they don t have to try too hard to be holy, nor do they have to divorce themselves from a love of the world. They may suffer loss of reward in the Kingdom of God, but they do not really care for all that they want is the assurance of Heaven with the attitude of peace because they follow the pattern of belief needed. These who are in this first doctrine may be entangled in the affairs of this life and in this world. These do not have to be serious about conquering all things in their lives that are contrary to God s Word because they only want a position in the City which is their comfort zone. God is not sought to help them into a Holy walk for they know that in spite

3 of being sinful they will still be saved, At that time when God has deigned to bring change to this world by bringing to it His government is the For the Overcomer, that is not good enough. The second doctrine is the doctrine which consumes me every day. The New Jerusalem I am looking for is also the company of Sons and Daughters of God, however, it is that company WHICH HAS OVERCOME. These form the actual HOLINESS OF THE CITY. They take on them the full identity of God Almighty, nothing short of God is their portion. Not only so, the New Jerusalem I am looking for is made up of Sons and Daughters WHO HAVE NO DUALITY. These are in GLORIFIED BODIES and this City is YET TO COME. This is the City whose builder and maker is God and the foundations of this City have no further spiritual progression for it is COMPLETE. In this series of studies now entitled To They That Overcometh, I desire to show you THE GLORIFIED BODY. The fullness of our inheritance. In some of the studies done previous I have mentioned this body pumping the blood of Jesus in their veins numerous times. But now in this section I wish to show it unto you in totality so you can see exactly what it is that you are in the throes of tribulation to receive. For me, the New Jerusalem cannot be complete in doctrine if one is not Glorified! It is that simple. And it is this body of glorification and of light and full of the unlimited measure of God that I wish to reveal. The other thing I will also reveal is that to totally overcome all things in your life you must appropriate all of the cross. This is not a study for those with itching ears who wish to walk in complacency and with doctrines that are easy. For the glorification of the Overcomer has to come by way of the cross and death to this world, the full process of the 2 nd death, there is simply no other way. The New Jerusalem is not yet a completed structure! It is still being built! It is still being formed as to its bulwarks and walls, the positioning of the living stones within the walls and the walk of obedience needed to overcome and become a part of all that this City is. When I read of this City, I know that it is not complete UNTIL HE APPEARS. For when He comes, He is bringing with Him 10,000 s of His saints, those who will with those alive and remaining form this completed City. THEN will this City descend from God to settle upon this earth in that day when the Kingdom of God overtakes all that is in the world in its fallen condition. We are still as God s people being required to walk out an obedient walk. The walls of the City are still being built. There are only two things completed at this point in the City. That is the mount Zion, which is the anointing mount of God and the Throne of God situated on this mount. The rest is working in SPIRITUAL PROGRESSION. A little hard to understand, but the completed City is a City still being worked INTO completion! We are in spiritual growth, so is the City! Turning now to the Glorification of the Body, I will write the rest of this as prophecy. For what I am going to share is truth, and it will happen in God s time for it, and I pray daily that this time is NOW. This is the hope that consumes me daily as I transverse this world seeking the Lord s fullness in the earth. I believe that the coming of the Lord described in 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18 is FOR THEY THAT OVERCOME. I do not believe this is for the nominal lukewarm Christian! That the coming of the Lord, His descent from Heaven with a shout, with the trump of God wherein the dead shall rise first RELATES TO THEY WHO HAVE APPREHENDED THAT FOR WHICH CHRIST APPREHENDED THEM. The Saints of God, these Overcomers who died waiting for the promise of God to be fulfilled, who lay in the dust of the earth in bodies of death, they shall arise in their New Bodies. Now some believe in soul sleep. I do not, for I know that the Spirits of the dead are with the Lord in Heaven. My experience with the brain injury I had proved to me the truth of this and no doctrine can convince me otherwise for I had a near death experience and was very much alive before the Lord who was seated upon His Throne. If my body would have died, I would have remained very much awake and alive in the Kingdom of God. Soul sleep to me is a waste of time!

4 time of the coming of the Lord. This is also the time of the descent and the settling upon the soil of this ground the New Jerusalem, the completed City of they who have overcome, those of this second doctrine I have mentioned at the beginning of this writing. When the Lord comes, the dead OVERCOMERS will rise out of their graves. They will be coming with the Lord in Spirit, but will be joined to GLORIFIED BODIES when He comes to bring this which is Spirit to this which is Natural. And the Overcomers who are alive and remain will be changed. They will put on IMMORTALITY. They will see change in the very structure of their bodies and will be clothed upon with their eternal Glorified bodies. THIS IS ONLY TO THOSE WHO OVERCOME. The rest of Christendom will miss this completely. Those who are caught up in new age doctrines which itch the ears and give lukewarm responses will miss this completely! All humanity will miss this glorification process completely! This is THE FIRST RESURRECTION. They that overcome will step forward in bodies of light and glory which will never die. In Christendom they are looking for the 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18 coming of the Lord to take them OUT of this world. I am looking for this to KEEP ME IN THIS WORLD. I WANT TO STAY RIGHT HERE. AND I WANT TO STAY HERE IN GLORIFIED FLESH. For the true coming of the Lord and the true settling of the New Jerusalem IS TO GIVE HOPE TO THIS CREATION. Not to separate us out because we are HOLY and no one else is, but to make ALL COME TO THE SAME HOLINESS. Dear Overcomer. When the Lord appears and comes and glorifies you, THEN YOUR TRUE WORK WILL BEGIN. For we will spend the entire next age on the earth in bodies of Glory purging mankind from the Adamic fall. These will cause men to be burned in the fires that the dross of the fallen nature will be removed from them, and as Holy Glorified Saints of God WE WILL DO THIS BURNING. Our entire work will be to COMPLETE THE SALVATION OF JESUS. The Lord is coming to Glorify us. When He does, this is what will happen. ** With your glorified body you will ** be clothed with the body of light and glory which will look like you do look now, but at a young age, very perfect in feature if your features are unlovely, and very much perfect in the original creation. The frailty of your natural body now will be gone as you in perfection have a perfect heavenly body. ** With your glorified body you will ** have the body of Glory which has nothing of the former life subject to death, dying and disease and destruction. This body is a body which will only be filled with the Aonian life of Christ. It is eternal, never aging and perfect. ** With your glorified body you will ** walk forward in THE FULLNESS OF YOUR INHERITANCE IN GOD. That which Jesus gave us through His atonement will now be your possession. The full inheritance God the Father promises the Saint of God is A GLORIFIED BODY. In that body is the full wealth of God Almighty, nothing lacking of His wealth and of His life. ** With your glorified body you will ** have the unlimited life of God and the person of God WITHOUT MEASURE UPON YOU INDIVIDUALLY. ** With your glorified body you will ** have the unlimited life of God and the person of God WITHOUT MEASURE UPON YOU AS A PART OF THE ARMY OF THE LORD. ** With your glorified body you will ** have power to stop death in those who are of this fallen creation and family members you love and cherish. ** With your glorified body you will ** have power to grant eternal life to those who come to view the company of Glorified Saints. For they will be so situated in the earth that all nations will come to be taught of them and to receive the life of God through them. ** With your glorified body you will ** already be granted the rights and privileges that belongs to they

5 that Overcome. This includes a seat upon the Throne of God with Christ as those who rule and reign throughout eternity. Not only so, but power will be granted unto you which will be the power of God in rulership that was granted unto Jesus, albeit still in a subservient measure as God is the only one stated to in time be All in All. ** With your glorified body you will ** be a part of the 144,000 who have Father s Name written in their foreheads and who follow Jesus withersoever He goes. This is a figurative number which represents the government of God. This government will discomfit and sub serve all the governments and kingdoms in the earth till all are brought into the Kingdom of God. ** With your glorified body you will ** in this body of Glory be seated eternally upon the Throne with God and walking upon a restored earthen creation all at the same time. Your glorified body will be seen by man on the earth and at the very same time you will be able to walk the halls of glory in the New Jerusalem. ** With your glorified body you will ** also at the same time be ministering to the dead. To those who are bound in hell and to those who will be cast into the lake that burns with fire and brimstone. Your ministry of life and salvation in Jesus Christ will be ministering in all these realms at the very same time. You will be in a physically glorified body of light and glory but not restricted at all to ministering to those who have left this world through death and are in hell waiting for the lake of fire to cleanse them of death. You in this body will remove this very death. ** With your glorified body you will ** during this time of ministry HAVE THE GIFT OF MUSIC. Your worship and praise to God will be NEW and in a PERFECT STATE. This will be worship and music that the world has not heard nor perceived and to be honest, we have not yet either! ** With your glorified body you will ** not have any identity with the world in the realm of money or finance, needs as to the physical body including a dwelling or food or drink. ** With your glorified body you will ** enter the Heavenly Eternal Feast of the Lord. This feast is the Feast of ingathering, a type and shadow of it shown in the Feast of Tabernacles, however this feast is so very much more. And now we begin to view the elements, grounds and scene of the New Jerusalem. To be continued Kenneth B Visscher
