They are only surviving sons of a family of seven children, but three of whom are now living, of N. J. windsor, deceased, and his widow, Mrs. Rebecca Windsor. both parents were natives of Caswell county, North Carolina, the father born Octover 25, 1823, the mother in They were married in Removing to this State, they settled in Chariton county, and here the father died. their only other surviving child is now the wife of Mr. George finnell, of this county. Mrs. Windsor, the mother was a daughter of Thomas and Anna Gunn, mentioned in the sketch of her brother, Asa gunn, to be seen on a preceding page. She was the twelfth of their ffamily of children.
