1 UNDERSTANDING GOD S FINANCIAL SYSTEM: Tithing Sowing Saving By: Fountain Hendricks (Malachi 3:10-12) (Galatians 6:7) (Proverbs 13:11) God s financial system is different than the world s. The world s financial system is based on FACTS & FIGURES. God s financial system is based on FAITH & TRUST in Him. Many people are not affiliated with God s financial system because they do not understand how to get RESULTS from it. They are familiar with the system but they do not know how to benefit from it. The primary difference between God s financial system and the world s financial system is that God s system is GUARANTEED to produce a return when the world is not guaranteed.

2 GOD S FINANCIAL SYSTEM IS CENTERED AROUND HIM It will be impossible for anyone to benefit from God s financial system if they do not believe in Him, if they do not trust Him, if they do not know Him, if they are not connected to Him and if they do not have a relationship with Him. In the Kingdom of God, God is the King and you CANNOT receive anything unless the King AUTHORIZES it first. God is ONLY obligated to bless you financially when you participate in His system and NOT the world s. So many people are going through financial hardship because they are investing money into the world, hoping that God will bless it, but GOD WILL NOT BLESS WHAT DOES NOT BELONG TO HIM. If you give your money to the world you run the risk of losing it but if you put it in the hands of God it will be protected and multiplied.

3 God is NOT responsible to multiply what has not been given to Him. He is NOT mandated to give you a return on what was never given to Him in the first place. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked for whatsoever a man sows that shall he also reap. If you invest in the world s financial system you CANNOT reap financial Kingdom benefits. GOD S FINANCIAL SYSTEM WILL NEVER FAIL BECAUSE IT IS NOT FLAWED TIER 1, TITHING (God s financial system) Malachi 3:10 Tithing is a Kingdom principal. Tithing is not about money it is all about HONORING God. Malachi 3:10 COMMANDS us to tithe 10 percent of our gross income so that the other 90 percent would be holy. If you study this scripture very carefully God never told us to give

4 ten percent, He told us to TITHE ten percent because GIVING & TITHING are done with two different attitudes. You may be thinking, what is the difference between giving & tithing? A person GIVES from the measure of their heart but a person TITHES from the mindset of honor. The greek meaning of the word tithe means tenth, the FIRST PART & whole. When you DO NOT tithe 10 percent of your gross income to God you are telling Him that money is more important than Him which will DISQUALIFY you from receiving financial prosperity & qualify you to receive financial misfortune. When you tithe God will PROTECT your finances from being devoured by the enemy. His divine protection will enable you to KEEP what you made so that you can MULTIPLY what you have by being productive, which will increase your financial prosperity on the earth. When you pay your tithes God will silence your enemy so that you can prosper financially.

5 TIER 2, SOWING (God s financial system) Galatians 6:7 Sowing is NOT the same thing as investing. Sowing will require you to rely on your faith to get a guaranteed return. Investing will require you to rely on historical and current figures to predict the outcome of a return. Whatever you invest will be added unto you but whatever you SOW will be MULTIPLIED unto you. Sowing money into God s financial system is how God multiplies pennies into dollars. In order to benefit from the cycle of sowing you must know what to sow into. When you sow your money into God s Kingdom, He will give you a return on your seed. Here are a list of things & people you should sow into Sow into productive people that are MULTIPLYING in their WORK & PURPOSE.

6 Sow into Productive ministries that are GROWING in INFLUENCE, POWER & PURPOSE. Sow into children that are getting GOOD GRADES in school. Sow into organizations that are PROGRESSING & FLOURISHING. Sow into People who God is BLESSING & PROMOTING. Sow into children who are OBEDIENT to the Lord. The most important thing you need to know about sowing is understanding the law of productivity. Whatever is fruitful will always multiply. Wisdom Note: DO NOT sow into what is NOT moving, growing, increasing or evolving. TIER 3 SAVING (God s financial system)

7 Proverbs 13:11 The scripture tells us that Money that is gathered little by little will grow. God did not command you to be a consumer, he commanded you to be a producer. Becoming financially prosperous is not about making a lot of money, it s about KEEPING a lot of money. If you make six figures a year but cannot keep 4 figures were you really productive? No. The world teaches us that we have to make a lot of money in order to save a lot of money but this philosophy is contrary to the Word of God. God s financial system emphasizes & teaches us about BUDGETING, SELF-CONTROL, STEWARDSHIP & SELF DISCIPLINE. There is nothing wrong with making a lot of money but in order to grow your money this is not a requirement. The only thing that is required of you to benefit from this cycle is DISCIPLINE If you can discipline your spending habits you will see your money grow. If you stop focusing on how much you make & start focusing on

8 how much you can keep you will reap a harvest from the final tier of God s financial system. YOU NEED TO THINK LIKE AN ANT Ant s store up food in the summer time so that they will have enough to eat in the winter according to proverbs 30:25. Ants are not big creatures but they understand the big idea. Ants do not focus on how much food they can carry at one time. They focus on how much they can store up over time. You need to THINK THE SAME WAY. IT S NOT ABOUT HOW MUCH YOU MAKE, IT S ABOUT HOW MUCH YOU CAN KEEP FOR MORE WISDOM GO TO
