This Proclamation should be shared with all of the members within your jurisdiction. Our loving Father, Timothy and I thank thee for life, health and strength for work to do and the will to do it, for this General Conference. As we work together, we thank you for kindness and genuine goodness as we become a dedicated channel for thy love. First of all, let me thank the jurisdiction of the Bahamas for a wonderful and fruitful convocation. You truly laid out the red carpet for us and we appreciate everything that you provided for us. Please inform the Deputy of your jurisdiction of death, distress or illness, along with the address to the Benevolence Chairperson listed below, and a copy to me. We know that when prayers go up, blessings come down. We thank those jurisdictions that have participated thus far, and will extend the deadline through the end of October. DIRECTIVE NO. 3 Project The General Conference Grand Most Worthy Joshua s special project is to purchase Audio Visual Equipment for the General Conference. More detailed information will follow. DIRECTIVE NO. 4 Community Involvement One of the General Conference Grand Most Ancient Matron s Special Projects is to have A Day of Sharing whereby all jurisdictions will provide some type of community involvement on the same day. A date will be determined and sent to the Most Ancient Grand Matrons. Another project will be Ringing of the Bell for the Salvation Army. A date will be determined and sent to the Most Ancient Grand Matrons. DIRECTIVE NO. 5 Ways and Means Yes, the Baskets are back and we look forward to all those Beautiful Baskets. We will also have a Money Tree Raffle and Shoe Bag projects. More information will follow.

4 DIRECTIVE NO 6 Newsletter We are pleased to welcome our new Newsletter Chairperson, G. Delores Ellerbee. She would like to prepare a newsletter every other month. If you have any information that you would like to be include in the newsletter, please your information to: geedee1303@yahoo.com. DIRECTIVE NO. 7 Youth Department The Youth Department is planning a Youth Summit for next year, and we are expecting great things. The Chairperson, Charlene Bolden, will forward the information with all the details and criteria you are encouraged to follow. This information will also be posted on the website. DIRECTIVE NO. 8 Conference CCFC Communications within the jurisdictions are very important. I am asking the current CCFCs in the jurisdictions, to retain your positions and to the General Conference CCFC any pertinent information/grand Sessions to Cassandra Barnes mscassandrabarnes@gmail.com. This information will also be posted on the website. DIRECTIVE NO. 9 History Our HPGCGMAM Ruth C. Smith served in the capacity as Historian for many years and did an awesome job. She has decided to step down and we THANK YOU for your service to the General Conference. 5 DIRECTIVE NO. 10 Parade of States I am asking all jurisdictions to participate in the Parade of States. Our chairperson, Diane Hearn will be sending more information on this project, so let s start working on our new queen and lady-in-waiting. We will also have the Spinning Angels luncheon this year. DIRECTIVE NO. 11 Convention Information Our session for 2018 will be held June 29, 2018 through July 4, 2018 at the Clarion Hotel & Conference at the Philadelphia Airport, 76 Industrial Highway, Essington, PA For reservation information, you can contact the hotel at Hotel Reservations must be received on or before Monday, May 1, 2018 to meet the General Conference room block deadline. Room rates are $ Single or Double and the tax is 12%. Pre-Registration fee is $ and on site will be $ Arlene Bolden- Flowers, our conference coordinator will be sending a packet with all the necessary information.
