HOW TO LIVE A HOLY LIFE With Physical Body God created man in his own image. God has got a great plan in creating Man. The Body of the man is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Therefore glorify God with your Body (I Cor 06:19-20) and he should useful to the neighbour (Jesus TWO commandments). o I am the Lord your God, and you must keep yourselves HOLY, because I am Holy (Lev 11:44). o The thing what you have done with your BODY and the thing what you have spoken through the MOUTH shall have to give account before the judgment day of Christ (Mat 12:36; II Cor 05:10). o Let not use your BODY as instrument of unrighteousness unto sin. But use your BODY as instrument of righteousness unto God (Rom 06:13). The Human BODY consists of many parts starting from Head to Feet. In that Eyes, Ears, Tongue, Mouth and Lips are there. The most important organ of the body is the HEART. Let us know what type of organs God likes and dislikes? We will see one by one: 1. The Flesh 2. Organs of the Body 3. Eyes 4. Ears 5. Mouth 6. Lips 7. Tongue 8. Heart 9. Hands 10. Feet 11. Mind 12. Thought 1. THE FLESH (BODY) Impure Body: So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the FLESH the law of sin (Rom 07:25). They that are in the FLESH cannot please God (Rom 08:08). The Body is not for fornication (immoral sex) but for the Lord (I Cor 06:13). He that soweth to his FLESH shall of the FLESH reap corruption (Gal 06:08). Pure Body: My HEART and FLESH crieth out for the living God (Psa 84:02). Fear the Lord and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy Navel (Body) and marrow to the Bones (Pro 03:07-07).
Remove sorrow from thy HEART and put away evil from thy FLESH (Eccl 11:10). Brethren, by mercies of God that ye (you) present your BODIES a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service (Rom 12:01). Your BODY is the temple of Holy Spirit which is in you. Your BODY is not your own, it is bought with a price. Therefore glorify God (I Cor 06:19-20). Jesus Christ shall change our vile (wicked) BODY that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious BODY (Phi 03:21). Christ is the head of the BODY, the Church (Col 01:18). Neutral Ref: And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly: and I pray God your whole Spirit and Soul and BODY be preserved blameless to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (I Thes 05:23). Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal BODY, that you should obey it in the lusts thereof (Rom 06:12). There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the FLESH (body), but after the Spirit (Rom 08:01). I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your BODIES a living sacrifice, holy acceptable to God, whichis your reasonable service (Rom 12:01). For you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your BODY, and in your Spirit, which are God s (I Cor 06:20; Isa 44:22). Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the FLESH (body) and Spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God (II Cor 07:01). 2. ORGANS OF THE BODY These SIX things doth the Lord hate wicked organs (Pro 06:16-19).Don t use your organs (members) as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin (Rom 06:13).Don t you know that you BODIES are the Members of Christ (I Cor 06:15) 1. A proud look EYES 2. A lying TONGUE (Psa 05:09) 3. HANDS that shed innocent blood 4. An HEART that deviseth (thinks) wicked imaginations 5. FEET that be swift in running of to mischief 6. A false witness that speaks (MOUTH) lies (Pro 06:16-19).There is no faithfulness in their MOUTH. Their inward part is very wickedness. Their THROAT is an open Sepulchre (tomb). They flatter with their TONGUE (Psa 05:09). Those who shall dwell on HIGH: He that walketh righteously (FEET) Speaks uprightly (MOUTH) Shaketh his HANDS from holding of bribes
Stoppeth his EARS from hearing of blood and shutteth his EYES from seeing evil (Isa 33:15). Keep the TONGUE from evil Thy LIPS from speaking guile (lies) Depart from evil, and do good (HANDS) Seek peace, and pursue it (FEET). (Psa 34:13-14). 3. EYES My EYES are ever toward the Lord; for He shall pluck my feet out of the net (Psa 25:15). Open my EYES, so that I may see the wonderful truths in your law (Psa 119:18). Turn away mine EYES from beholding (seeing) Vanity (waste things) (Psa 119:37). Let them not depart from your EYES; keep them in the midst of your heart (Pro 04:21). The EYES of the Lord are in every place, behold (seeing) the evil and the good (Pro 15:03). The seeing EYE and the hearing Ear, the Lord hath made even both of them (Pro 20:12). The light of the body is the EYE; therefore thy whole body should be full of light (Mat 06:22). But if thine EYE be evil, the whole body shall be full of darkness (Mat 06:23). 4. EARS I have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined (listen) mine EAR to them that instructed me (Pro 05:13). The EAR of the wise seeketh knowledge (Pro 18:15). Therefore whosoever HEARS (ears) these sayings of Mine, and does them I will liken him to a wise man, which built his house upon a rock (Mat 07:24). And other sheep which I have which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall HEAR (ears) My voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd (Joh 10:16; Rev 03:20). So then Faith comes by HEARING (ears), and hearing by the word of God (Rom 10:17). Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to HEAR (ear), slow to speak, slow to wrath (Jam 01:19). 5. MOUTH The MOUTH of the Wicked: The words of the wicked MOUTH are iniquity (evil) and deceit (Psa 36:03). The MOUTH of the wicked coverth violence (Pro 10:11). The MOUTH of the wicked speakth for wardness (bad words) (Pro 10:32). The MOUTH of the wicked poureth out evil things (Pro 15:28). A fool MOUTH is his destruction (Pro 18:07). The MOUTH of the wicked devoureth (taste) iniquity (evil). The Mouth of the Righteous man:
I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my MOUTH (Psa 34:01). Lord open You my Lips; and my MOUTH shall show forth Your praise (Psa 51:15). My MOUTH shall praise thee with joyful Lips (Psa 63:05). Let my MOUTH be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day (Psa 71:08). And take not the word of the truth utterly out of my MOUTH; for I have hoped in Your judgments (Psa 119:43). How sweet are thy words unto my taste! Yea, sweeter than honey to any MOUTH (Psa 119:103). Accept, I beseech You, the freewill offerings of my MOUTH, O Lord, and teach me Your judgments (Psa 119:108). Set a watch, O Lord, before my MOUTH; keep the door of my Lips (Psa 141:03). Put away from you a forward MOUTH, and perverse Lips put far from you (Pro 04:24). The MOUTH of a Righteous man is a well of life (Pro 10:11). The MOUTH of a Righteous bringeth forth wisdom (Pro 10:31). He keepeth his MOUTH keepeth his life (Pro 13:03). Who so keepeth his MOUTH and Tongue keepeth his soul from troubles (Pro 21:23). 6. LIPS The Lips of Harmful people: Lying LIPS are abomination (unpleasant) to the Lord (Pro 12:22). A fool s LIPS enter into contention (argument) (Pro 18:06). A fool s LIPS are the snare (trap) of his soul (Pro 18:07). The Pharisees draweth (express) high unto me with their Mouth and honoureth me with their LIPS; but their Heart is far from me (Mat 15:08). The Lips of Righteous People: O Lord open my LIPS so that I can speak, then my Mouth will praise you (Psa 51:15). He that refraineth (shuts) his LIPS is wise (Pro 10:19). The LIPS of righteous feed many (Pro 10:21). The LIPS of truth shall be established for ever (Pro 12:19). The LIPS of the wise disperse knowledge (Pro 15:07). Righteous LIPS are the delight of kings (Pro 16:13). Every man shall kiss his LIPS that giveth a right answer (Pro 24:26). The Lips requesting for Righteousness: Keep your Tongue from evil, and your LIPS from speaking guile (deceit) (Psa 34:13; I Pet 03:10). Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my LIPS shall praise you (Psa 63:03; 119:171). With my LIPS have I declare all the judgments of Your Mouth (Psa 119:13). Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying LIPS, and from a deceitful Tongue (Psa 120:02). Set a watch, O Lord, before my Mouth; keep the door of my LIPS (Psa 141:03). 7. TONGUE
The Nature of the Bad Tongue: The Lord shall cut off the flattering Lips and the TONGUE that speaketh proud things (Psa 12:03). Thy TONGUE is like a sharp razor working deceitfully (Psa 52:02). The TONGUE that speaketh evil shall be cutout (Pro 10:31). Death and life are in the power of the TONGUE (Pro 18:21). The TONGUEis a small part of the Body but it brags (boasts) a lot thing how a large forest can be set on fire by a small spark. In the same way the TONGUE sets fire of hell to the whole Body (Jam 03:05-06). For every kind of beasts (wild animals) and of birds and of serpents and of things in the sea, is tamed and hath been tamed of mankind. But the TONGUE no man tame (control) it is an unruly, full of deadly poison (Jam 03:07-08). The Nature of the Good Tongue: I will heed to my ways that I sin not with my TONGUE (Psa 39:01). My TONGUE also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long (Psa 71:24). The TONGUE of those who do right are like pure silver (Pro 10:20). The TONGUE of the wise is Health (Pro 12:18). The TONGUE of the wise useth knowledge alright (Pro 15:02). A whole some TONGUE is a tree of the life (Pro 15:04). Every TONGUE should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father (Phi 02:11). Praying for Righteous Tongue: Keep your TONGUE from evil, and your Lips from speaking guile (deceit) (Psa 34:13; I Pet 03:10). Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying Lips, and from a deceitful TONGUE (Psa 120:02). Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, You God of my salvation: and my TONGUE shall sing aloud of Your righteousness (Psa 51:14). My TONGUE shall speak of Your word: for all Your commandments are righteousness (Psa 119:172). 8. HEART Wicked HEART: Thou shalt not harden thine HEART nor shut thine hard from thy poor brother (Due 15:07). The wicked hath said in his HEART, I will not be moved for I shall never be in trouble (Psa 10:06). The fool hath said in his HEART there is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable (extremely bad) works (Psa 14:01). I won t put up with anyone whose eyes and HEART are proud (Psa 101:05). Deceit is in the HEART of them that imagine evil (Pro 12:20). The HEART of the fools proclaimeth foolishness (Pro 12:23).
Every one that is proud in HEART is an abomination to Lord: he shall be punished (Pro 16:05). The HEART is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked (Jer 17:09). I will take stony HEART and will give them a HEART of flesh (Eze 11:19). Those things which proceed out of the Mouth come forth from the HEART. Evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications (immoral sex), thefts, false witness, blasphemies (scolding God) are the things which defile a man (Mat 15:18-20). Be careful! Don t let your HEART become occupied with too much fearing and drinking and with worries of life (Luk 21:34). Take heed brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil HEART of unbelief, in departing from the living God (Heb 03:12). Clean / Pure HEART: A merry HEART maketh a cheerful face (Psa 15:13). The laws of the Lord are right, rejoicing the HEART (Psa 19:08). He that hath clean hands and pure HEART shall climb into the hill of the Lord (Psa 24:04). Create in me a clean HEART O God (Psa 51:10). God likes a broken and repentant HEART (Psa 51:17). My flesh and my HEART faileth but God is the strength of my Heart and my portion forever (Psa 73:26). Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth, unite any HEART to fear thy name (Psa 86:11). I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my HEART; and I will glorify thy name for evermore (Psa 86:12). So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our HEARTS unto wisdom (Psa 90:12). Glory ye in his Holy name; the HEART of them rejoice that seek the Lord (Psa 105:03). Thy word have I kept in mine HEART that I might not sin against thee (Psa 119:11). Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; Yea, I shall observe it with my whole HEART (Psa 119:34). Turn my HEART towards your covenant law and not towards selfish gain (Psa 119:36). Trust in the Lord with all thine HEART and lean not unto own understanding and he shall direct thy path (Pro 03:05-06). The cheerful HEART has a continual feast (Pro 16:21). The HEART of the wise teacheth Mouth and addeth learning to his Lips (Pro 16:23). Get rid of all evil things you have done let me give a new HEART and a new Spirit. Then you will be faithful to me (Eze 18:31). Blessed are the pure in HEART for they shall see the God (Mat 05:08). Praying for Righteous Heart: And it shall come to pass, if you shall hearken diligently to my commandments which I command you this day, to love the Lord your God and to serve Him with all your HEART and with all your soul (Deu 11:13; Mar 12:30).
Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth: unite my HEART to fear Your name (Psa 86:11). I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my HEART: and I will glorify Your name for evermore (Psa 86:12). Blessed are they that keep His testimonies, and that seek Him with the whole HEART (Psa 119:02). I will praise You with uprightness of HEART, when I shall have learned Your righteous judgments (Psa 119:07). With my whole HEART have I sought you: O let me not wander from Your commandments (Psa 119:10). Thy word have I kept in mine HEART that I might not sin against thee (Psa 119:11). I will run the way of Your commandments, when You shall enlarge my HEART (Psa 119:32). Incline my HEART to Your testimonies, and not to covetousness (Psa 119:36). The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep Your precepts with my whole HEART (Psa 119:69). Let my HEART be sound in Your statutes; that I be not ashamed (Psa 119:80). I have inclined my HEART to perform Your statutes always, even to the end (Psa 119:112). I cried with my whole HEART; hear me, O Lord: I will keep Your statutes (Psa 119:145). Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my HEART stands in awe of Your word (Psa 119:161). Let them (words) not depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your HEART (Pro 04:21). Keep your HEART with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (Pro 04:23). 9. HANDS But thou shalt open thine HAND wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need (Deu 15:08). For they all made us afraid, saying, Their HANDS shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done. Now therefore, O God, strengthen my HANDS (Neh 06:09; Heb 12:12). Lift up your HANDS in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord (Psa 134:02). I spread out my HANDS to you in prayer, I am thirsty for you just as dry land is thirsty for rain (Psa 143:06; 119:48). Long life in her right HAND and in her left HAND riches and honour (Pro 03:16). Every wise women buildeth her house; but the foolish plucketh it down with her HANDS (Pro 14:01). Lift up thy HANDS toward Lord for the life of thy young children, that faint hunger in the top of every street (Lam 02:19). 9.1 LIFTING HANDS So wherever you assemble, I want men to pray with holy Hands LIFTED UP to God, free from anger and controversy (I Tim 02:08).
My HANDS also will I LIFT up to Your commandments, which I have loved and I will meditate in Your statues (Psa 119:48). 10. FEET For you have delivered my soul from death: will notyou deliver my FEET from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living (Psa 56:13). I have refrained my FEET from every evil way, that I might keep thy word (Psa 119:101). Your word is a lamp to my FEET, and a light to my path (Psa 119:105). My son, walk not thou in the way with sinners, get back thy FOOT from their path (Pro 01:15). My son, keep sound wisdom: Then shalt walk in thy way safely and thy FOOT shall not stumble (Pro 03:21-23). Turn not to the right hand nor to the left remove thy FOOT from evil (Pro 04:27). Sinners FEET run to evil and they make haste to shed innocent blood (Isa 59:07) KNEELING FEET My (David) KNEES are weak through fasting; and my flesh fails to fatness (Psa 109:24). For Solomon had made a brazen scaffold, of five cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high, and hand set it in the midst of the court: and upon it he stood, and KNEELED down upon his KNEES before all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his Hands toward heaven (II Chr 06:13). And at the evening sacrifice I (Ezra) arose up from my heaviness; and having rent my garment and my mantle, I fell upon my KNEES, and spread out my Hands to the Lord my God (Ezr 09:05). Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he KNEELED upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did beforetime (Dan 06:10). And he (Stephen) KNEELED down, and cried with loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep (Act 07:60). But Peter put them all forth, and KNEELED down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up (Act 09:40). And when he (Paul) had thus spoken, he KNEELED down, and prayed with them all (Act 20:36). And He (Jesus) was withdrawn from them about a stone s cast, and KNEELED down, and prayed (Luk 22:41). 11. MIND Praying for Right Mind: For to be carnally MINDEDis death; but to be spiritually MINDEDis life and peace (Rom 08:06).
And be not conformed to this world: but be you transformed by the renewing of your MIND, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Rom 12:02). Let this MIND be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Phi 02:05). For thus says, the high and the lofty One that inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones (Isa 57:15). Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one MIND, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you (II Cor 13:11). 12. THOUGHT For out of the Heart proceed evil THOUGHTS, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies (Mat 15:19). For from inside; out of the Heart of men, proceed evil THOUGHTS, adulteries, fornications, murders (Mar 07:21). Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every THOUGHT to the obedience of Christ (II Cor 10:05).
