1 February 2015 Dear Clerk of Session, The EPC s Annual Church Report (formerly called the Annual Statistical and Financial Report) represents people touched by the ministry of your church and resources given generously for the advancement of God s kingdom. Significant aspects of your participation in God s mission are difficult to measure with numbers. If you want to share some stories of how your church has touched your community and transformed lives, we d love to hear them. Please use the enclosed worksheet to gather data for the Annual Church Report. Once you have done so, go to to enter the data. Click Instructions on that page for a video on how to log in and use the online form. Please complete the report by March 31. That will give us adequate time to prepare reports for publication to the 2015 General Assembly meeting in June. We depend on you to send us your reports on time so we can give the Assembly an accurate snapshot of our family of churches. This Worksheet, with your church s User ID and password, was mailed to your Clerk of Session the week of Feb. 9. If you cannot locate your church s copy, please ask a Pastor of the church or the Clerk of Session to epchurch@epc.org and we will you another copy. When you determine who will be entering the data and who should have access to this Report, please give those people the User ID and password. 4 WORKSHEET 2014 EPC Annual Church Report Due March 31, 2015 This is the inaugural year for the EPC s online Annual Church Report site. We ve simplified the name from Annual Statistical and Financial Report and worked to make data entry and tracking your reports from year to year a simple process. Beginning this year, your Annual Church Report will be available for you to view and print in subsequent years as well. This is the first piece of a new EPC web site that has gone live. Look forward to a refreshed and improved web presence for the EPC in the near future. We want to keep improving this site. Due to the underlying architecture, there are some limits as to what we can do, but we d like to hear your suggestions. Please send them to jeff.sturgeon@epc.org. Instructions 1. Use this worksheet to compile the data needed for your report. Information entered last year is pre-printed on the following pages. 2. When you complete the worksheet, go to the new Annual Church Report page at Click Instructions for an introductory video. Click <Start> next to Annual Church Report, and log in with the following credentials for your church: This Worksheet, with your church s User ID and password, was sent to the Clerk of Session the week of Feb. 9. 8 FINANCES Note to churches on a fiscal year other than January - December: The General Assembly operates on a fiscal year corresponding to the calendar year. All financial reporting to the Assembly is on that basis. For ease and accuracy of reporting, churches are asked to use figures in all categories that also correspond to the calendar year, even if that means a reasoned estimation. D. Aid or sustenance Income received from other churches, presbytery, or General Assembly for local purposes. E.
