Even though no marriage date for the second wife can be located, we assume this happened sometime in Springville, and later John and Thankful Lucy went to St. George and were sealed in the St. George Temple. Craig and Roberta Blake Barnum, states: Nay, John; wife, Hale, Thirza Angelina; born 23 Feb 1814, Brandon, Rutland, VT, to Dixie in 1862 from Pine Valley, UT next line: Nay, John; Pine, Thankful Lucy, 4 Nov 1830; Stockholm, S.L., NY; to Dixie 1862; from Pine Valley, UT; Marriage date 1859 in Springville, UT. We know that the information about Thirza coming to Dixie is incorrect, and Dr. Craig and Mrs. Barnum cannot find the verification for this record.
