Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends today, Wednesday, October 8, from 5 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Alcorn was a native of Buffalo Valley in Putnam County. She was a homemaker and a member of Raus Church of Christ. Her family includes four sons, Dr. Will and Dr. Steven Alcorn and Joe Allen Alcorn Jr., all of Shelbyville, and Lanny B. The former Miss Flossie Neal, she was born in Algood, a daughter of the late Cass A. and Avo Cooper Neal. She received her education in Putnam County and moved to Davidson County 35 years ago. She was married 35 years ago to Mr., also a native of Putnam County.
