Thank you for your building skills and tools that you have made to help the Council in its many programs. Finding you participating as a weekly usher and at our monthly dinners even after a painful hospital experience is an example for all of us we are most pleased to be vos freres. I have provided a list of K of C officer duties, (discussion on nomination Committee) I HAVE POSTED THE OFFICER CRITERIA FOR CONSIDERATION FOR A POSTION FOR NEXT MEETING. Father John will be remembered at St. Anne s 8AM Mass of April 17 th. We wrote last month and discussed at the March business meeting, the possibility of expanding our charitable programs and also reaching for the Star Council award. With seven new Knights and some more aggressive Church and community activities, a Star Council award is within our reach. We also see an expansion of our local charitable programs with a substantial gift to the Hampstead Senior drop-in center, along with continuing Parish, outreach and another successful blood drive NEW: BUSINESS UP COMING EVENTS COMMITTEE REPORTS Per Supreme, during February a nominating committee must be formed for the fraternal year elections in June. The committee is composed of Trustees Chuck Mack, Mike Korpak and John Keisling and the Grand Knight. Please contact any of these Brothers for suggestions or your wish to be on the July ballot. Descriptions of the various elected officers are listed above in this newsletter. Also note Director (year long) and Chairman tasks (specific one-time program leadership). Nick Sarbanis made a motion to support the Town Elderly program held at the library For $300 and was disbursed for April Nick Masselli made a motion to spend $425 to replace the modules for the church s Bell Ringer The motion was second and past for posting for May Disbursement

5 The Council has authorized the necessary resources to obtain and develop a Council #9058 web site. Any Knight wishing to participate in the design or content must contact the Council web master John Keisling (jfkeisling@gmail.com) Lance Ribeiro made a motion to spend up to $175 on setting up our own Web Site The motion was 2 nd and passed for disbursement in May. Nick Sarbanis reported on new Summer Camp Program for the Handicapped to support our Council s Tootsie Roll Drive. Peter Lapointe, one of our council Members, is heading it up as the camp Director this year. Decision needs to be made as to having youth helping on our dinners as we now have 6 new members on our Dinner teams. We have no need to have the youth helping out at the dinners, as we need to get these new individuals involved in the Council activities..need help Friday peeling POTATOES, CUTTING UP ONIONS CLEANING STRING BEANS, MARINATING THE LAMB 10:00 AM FRIDAY KNIGHTS CORNER We are invited to join in with the Civic Club for a Deep Sea Fishing Trip with Smith & Gilmore out of Hampton Sunday June 12 th 7:30 to 4:30 cost is $50 &$7.00 for the Pole. The State Council is sponsoring a night at the Fisher Cats on Friday night August 20 th at 7:00 PM Ticket request have to be in by July 22 nd ;great night out for Council members and their Families.
