1 LOCATION: Auburn Township, Section 24 R-006 St. Mathias (New Fane) Entered on computer by Diana Wichmann March, 2005 Explanatory Remarks: 0000 = No Year NG = Not Given Sic = means that the data was entered just as it was written, even though it may seem to be in error. Notes: Unless otherwise indicated, the notes are those of Mr. Roderick J. Reese person who examined the headstones and recorded the information (Roderick J. Reese) This information was entered on the computer by Diana Wichman January Note by S. Connie Halbur: This list is certainly not current, and at least one burial was not listed (Mathias Klein), but has been added by S. Connie Halbur, who had access to the church cemetery records briefly in She added a few other details about Peter Klein and Margaretha Klein as well. All these additions are in italics. No doubt other burials are also missing. There were a number of headstones lying face down among the trees at the back of the cemetery, but they were too heavy to lift. They may have once stood where there are now empty spots between other headstones. The lists will be given in three arrangements: - As it was in the Reese envelope, which is basically alphabetical - Alphabetical order - Chronological, by date of death.
