1 PREDESTINATION / ELECTION This message is Part 1, of the LAW OF REDEMPTION. (WHY I CANNOT DIE LIKE A CHICKEN) BY: Daniel Phaladi This is one of the most important sermons I ever preached on. It covers the most important topic that has been greatly misunderstood, the concept of Election also known Predestination. We are now moving into the second gear. The church is growing teeth, and we are now starting to serve T-Bone steak, no more mash and grave, hehe!! I have always desired to speak about these wonderful mysteries of the Bible like Election, predestination, redemption, but it would have been impossible for these teachings to be Predestination : By Daniel Phaladi Page 1

2 understood by people that were still toothless. I believe this sermon will become a stand alone booklet, because it would be very important to send, or even print out this sermon for people with no access to laptops or smart phones. I never write my opinions, everything I put down on paper has been referenced from multiple sources in the Holy Word of God, the Bible. I don t believe in taking one verse and making a doctrine out of it. This is the MOST important sermon I ever wrote, so do not read it in a hurry, if you are at work, wait till you get home, then grab chair, pray first, sit comfortably with a cup of green tea, (yes, for those already working on their summer bodies..hehehe) and then go through it. So first of all, let me ask, what do you understand by the WORD redemption? The dictionary states, the action of regaining possession of something in exchange for payment, or clearing a debt. In other words, Redemption means to BUY BACK what was originally yours. Its very important to note these words. Redemption is not a new purchase, it is RE-purchasing of what was yours originally, let me make you an example. Lets say I have a Bicycle. I ride my Bicycle to work. Then on this particular month I realize that I will not be able to pay rent for my house, so I decide to go and sell my Bicycle at a 2 nd hand shop. They take my Bicycle and give me 100 dollars. On my home, I meet my rich uncle I haven t met in years and he decides to give me 200 dollars. So what do I do? I will go back to the 2 nd hand shop, and say, people, I know I sold my Bicycle but I need to redeem my bicycle back. Many times they will not give me back my Bicycle at the same money they gave me, I will have to redeem my bicycle at a Predestination : By Daniel Phaladi Page 2

3 higher price!!so the cost of redemption, the price of buying back, many times is more than the original value of the item. There might be many bicycles in the 2 nd hand shop. Some of them might look much much better than the bicycle I am trying to redeem, but redemption is not about which is better, which is cheaper, redemption is about WHAT BELONGED TO ME in the first place. In the same way, God can ONLY redeem that which came from him. This is where we start talking about election. This is going to be the most difficult sermon I have to preach, but I have to say it. You see, the truth is, I repeat, if it did not come from God, it is not redeemable. Let us go back to our Bibles and read a very important piece of scripture. Matthew 13: 24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? Predestination : By Daniel Phaladi Page 3

4 29 29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. So we can see in this parable, Jesus says, both the WHEAT and TARES were planted on the earth. The wheat by the good farmer, and the tares at night by the evil one. Jesus gives the meaning to this parable in verse Let us read it. Matthew 13:37-38King James Version (KJV) He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; Please send some time before you read further and think of the words of Jesus. He says the good seed are the children of the kingdom, but the tares ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE WICKED ONE, in other words Satan does have children on earth. They are not the children of the kingdom. When we go back to the book of Genesis 3, after the fall of man, we read a portion of scripture when God was giving his punishment to the serpent. Listen carefully to what God told the serpent (satan). 14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: Predestination : By Daniel Phaladi Page 4

5 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Did you hear that, in verse 15. God says to satan, that He will put ENMITY between the seed of the serpent (the children of the devil) and the seed of the woman (the children of the kingdom). It gets interesting doesn t it. This is a very important subject, so let us continue with scriptures. We cant make a doctrine out of only 2 scriptures. Let us go to the book of John 8: Jesus was having a serious disagreements with the Pharisees and the religious leaders. They have been talking from John 8, verse 1, and now it is verse 43 and they are still debating. John 8: 39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. This is the most interesting conversation. Here are the most educated Bible scholars trying to convice Jesus that God is their father. Predestination : By Daniel Phaladi Page 5

6 Jesus takes a look at them, and says, if God were your father, ye would love me, but there is NO WAYS for you guys to love me. You are of your father the devil. You are NOT the wheat, you are just the tares. These guys were having a hard time understanding what Jesus meant. I have a PHD in theology, how can this man say I am a child of satan? I have planted 2000 churches around the world, why is this man called Jesus saying I am of my father the devil? My prophecies are always correct. Demons always scream and depart from people when I cast them out. Why does this man from Galilee named Jesus, why, why does he say I am of my father the devil? That is the mystery of election. This is the truth of pre-destination. Lets continue, I need to show you something. There were two brothers one named Esau the other named Jacob. One day Esau went hunting and he caught nothing, and when he came back he was soo tired, and found his brother having cooked a nice pot of soup. So Esau said to his brother please give me some of that soup, Jacob said, give me the birthright first the you get the soup. So Esau said, whats this piece of paper anyway, so he gave it to Jacob, and Jacob gave him the soup. Lets go to Hebrews 12:16-17, lets see what happened to Esau after doing what he did. The Bible says, See to it that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who sold his birthright for a single meal. 17For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected. He could find no ground for repentance, though he sought the blessing with tears The Bible says Esau COULD FIND NO GROUND for repentance. In other words, Esau wanted to much to repent for what he did. But there was just no repentance for him. I thought that anyone could repent. Why couldn t Esau find a place to repent?? We are going to find the answer in Malachi 1, verse 2-3. I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, 3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness. God says, why do we ask Him how does He love us. He says, there were two brothers, they came from a wonderful father and wonderful mother. Isaac and Rebecca. However God says, I God loved Jacob, but I HATED Esau. Did God hate Esau because Esau sold his birthright? No, that would imply that God s love for his children chops and changes everyday. God said he hated Esau. And because of that, Hebrews 12 tells us, Esau wanted to repent, but he found no ground, Esau even cried. The Bible says he was repenting with tears. What about Cain, the son of Adam and Eve. ( I have debunked the theory that Cain was a literal son of satan, as in, Eve had sex with the serpent to conceive Cain, there is doctrine like that, which comes from the Jewish Kaballah, that is completely false, a man named Irenaeus, who died 202ad wrote a book and called it Irenaeus against heresies identified this doctrine of saying Eve had sex with the serpent as a dangerous and blasphemous doctrine) Predestination : By Daniel Phaladi Page 7

8 Cain was the biological brother of Abel. But the Bible says, to Cain and His sacrifice, God did not have any respect to Cain and His sacrifice. Why?? Why did God reject the sacrifice of Cain. We really hear of no reason in he book of Genesis as to why God rejected the sacrifice of Cain. But we pick up the reason in the book of 1 John 3:12 Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brother's were righteous. So the Bible tells us the answer. Cain belonged to THE EVIL ONE!! Hehehe.., Both brothers had a good holy mother and father, but one of them was elected, the other one was not!!! Let us continue and hear Jesus praying a very interesting prayer. This is the most interesting verse. John 17:9 9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. Jesus was not even confused as to who he was praying for. He was not confused as to who he came to redeem. He says, I PRAY FOR THEM, but NOT FOR THE WORLD. Only for them which God has given to Jesus. So Jesus was saying God, I do not want nothing that does not come from you, I only want those that you have given me. Why did Jesus pray like that? Because Jesus knows, he can ONLY redeem, he can ONLY buy back what belonged to Him in the first place!! Lets see what Paul says in Romans 9:10 10 And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac; Predestination : By Daniel Phaladi Page 8

9 11 11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. Wow!! Paul says, before both boys had done any GOOD OR EVIL, so that election might stand, God chose Jacob and he hated Esau. So Paul says, can we say that God is unrighteous?? The Bible says God will have mercy on whom God will have mercy. That s it!! That is the great mystery of election. Lets read also what Paul says..,ephesians 1:4, 4For He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His presence. In love 5He predestined us for adoption as His sons through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of His will!! So before the world was formed, the Bible says God chose us in HIM, he predestinated us for adoption according HIS GOOD PLEASURE..hehehehehe!! Ephesians 1:11 Says 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: Predestination : By Daniel Phaladi Page 9

10 You cannot speak of the Love of God without speaking about the mystery of predestination. Let me give you a few examples of this mystery in the Bible. The scholars, and the scribes and Pharisees and Saducees they looked at Jesus, and they said Jesus was trying to make himself something. Why is he coming and speaking about religious establishments, against traditions. Who is this guy, does he think he can come out of nowhere and tell us to go Back to God? Who is his spiritual father? Doesn t he know that I have 5 million followers in my church? Who is this guy? But lets look at what happened, why the religious leader were arguing about who Jesus was, there was a woman of Samaria, who had 6 husbands, the minute she spoke to Jesus she said, you know what, you must be the Messiah. What happened, why did the Big Papas and spiritual fathers miss Jesus, yet a woman with many husbands get the revelation? That is the mystery of election. She was predestinated, they were not. As easy as that. Jesus went to the house of Simon the Pharisee. He sat there with dirty feet. Everyone there was important. I can almost imagine the Titles that were flying in that house. One was Senior Major Pharisee, one was the Great Bishop, spiritual father of all Pharisees, Jesus was not bothered by their titles, he sat there with dirty feet. Until a prostitute, a woman who was doing bad things with her body for money, saw Him. Something jumped within this woman. She could not contain it. How can Jesus sit with dirty feet? How can he?? Oh no!!! She went straight for my master s feet. Started to cry, and cry and wipe her tears with her hair. She broke the perfume bottle over his feet! Wow, Im starting to feel the Holy Spirit over me as I type this. Then those papas in that room felt very uneasy. They said, Jesus is not a prophet. If he was prophet, he would know that this woman is a prostitute. But Jesus Christ was looking beyond her profession, Jesus was looking Predestination : By Daniel Phaladi Page 10

11 beyond her sins, Jesus was looking beyond her faults. Jesus was looking at election. Before the world was formed, God elected and chose and a prostitute and did not choose any of those religious powerful papas!!! Two thieves were crucified with Jesus. Both of them had done bad things. In the physical, both of them were just the same. But when Jesus was on the cross, the one started, Jesus, you said you were something powerful. Why don t YOU save yourself and save us?? Jesus never answered. It was the other thief that answered the other thief. He said, listen dude, me and you we did bad, we are here because we sinned a lot, but this man is innocent. This thief then turned to Jesus.., now look at the powerful revelation, he says Lord remember me when you get into paradise!!! This is amazing, we have scholars that deny the deity of Jesus Christ. We have a whole religion of people that said Jesus is not God, we had the Pharisees that studied the scrolls all their lives, they looked at him and did not see anything, but the thief said LORD remember me when you get to Paradise, Jesus said, that s it!!! That s it!!! Today!!! You will be with me in Paradise!!! Oh Lord Jesus.., I wish I could just stop right now raise my hands and worship God!!! What was happening??? ELECTION!!! The thief was Elected, not those great leaders of that age!! People ask me, Pastor Dan, why are you doing what you are doing??? Why in the world would you leave a good profession and start a Back to God campaign?? Who do you think you are? Do you think you know better than our spiritual father with more than 3 million followers? Are you doing this because you are jealous?? Well I am going to tell you a story, why I am doing what I am doing. Predestination : By Daniel Phaladi Page 11

12 A long time ago in a remote valley, there lived a farmer. One day he got tired of the daily routine of running the farm and decided to climb the cliffs that brooded above the valley to see what lay beyond. He climbed all day until he reached the top of the cliff; there, to his amazement was a nest, full of eggs. Immediately he knew they were eagle s eggs and, even though he knew it was certainly illegal, he carefully stole one egg and stowed it in his pack; began to make his way down the cliff to his farm. When he got home he put the egg in with the few chickens he kept in the yard. The mother hen was the proudest chicken you ever saw, sitting a top this magnificent egg; and the cockerel couldn t have been prouder. Sure enough, some weeks later, from the egg emerged la fine, healthy egret, and the mother chicken raised the majestic bird as one of their own. So it was that the eagle grew up with its brother and sister chicks. It learned to do all the things chickens do: it clucked and cackled, scratching in the dirt for worms, flapping its wings furiously,flying just a few feet in the air before crashing down to earth in a pile of dust and feathers. It believed resolutely and absolutely it was a chicken. One day, late in its life, the eagle-who-thought-he-was-a-chicken happened to look up at the sky. He did not know that his mother had come looking for him. The mother was calling everywhere. He saw a large bird soaring majestically and effortlessly in the air. While all the chickens ran for cover, this little eagle, also wanted to run away, but there was something about the call of the mother eagle that resonated to something within the little eagle. So, the mother chicken started to give the little eagle a lecture. She said, if you ever listen to that mother eagle, I am going to remove you out of the anointing of Papa, you are going to get bewitched. If you ever go to that big bird, the anointing of prophetic papa will not work on you!!! No matter how much the mother chicken tried to preach FEAR into this little eagle, the little eagle, knew, I can t go back. I have seen something, Predestination : By Daniel Phaladi Page 12

13 I have heard something that resonated within me. I cannot ignore this. Yes, take me away from under the anointing of papa, but as for me and my house, we am going to meet this great majestic bird in the skies. I am tired of worms, I am tired!!! Its time for fresh meat!! The minute this little eaglet also cried back at the mother eagle, he realized his sound sounded identical to the mother. So the mother came down. And said to his son. You are my son. The little eaglet said, but Im a chicken. The mother said, no my son, you have always been an eagle, it is time for you to flap your wings and come home. Before Long, this little eaglet was soaring the skies with his mother, going back to the high mountains, far far away from the chicken s nest!! So, the mother eagle did not come to make chickens to be eagles. The mother eagle had no business knowing the number chickens on the farm. Whether they are one million or 2 million chickens. The mother eagle ONLY came for her own. That is exactly the commission that they Lord gave me. When the Lord sent me in Sudan, He said to me, My son, my children are under spiritual bondage from false doctrines and man worship God did not send me to rescue children of satan. God sent me to rescue HIS children. In other words, God did not send me to go and convert chickens into eagles. God sent me to go into chicken farms to call out HIS EAGLS which still believe their chickens. But all the Eagles, when they hear the sound of the mother eagle, no matter how deep they were in their chicken farms, they will leave everything and go back to God!!! This has nothing to do with Daniel Phaladi, this is the GREAT MYSTERY of Election. The big papas will miss this, those with heavy titles will never understand they mystery of redemption. They will continue to think redemption means a big church, redemption means a powerful choir, redemption means having a powerful speaker form the US. Predestination : By Daniel Phaladi Page 13

14 But the eagles, know, Redemption means they are going back to the FATHER, where they come from. That is why Daniel Phaladi is going country to country, screaming shouting Back to God!!!!, Back to God!!!!. Crying everyday run Back to God!!!, run Back to God!!!. Why am I doing this? Because I have to check in every chicken farm, are there eagles here? Hello chicken farm, are there any eagles here. In some chicken farms I find 2 or 3 eagles, Some chicken farms I find no eagles there. I move to the next!!! So you see, I have no interest in the million chickens following a chicken prophet, I am not interested in making the tares to be wheat, the TARES WILL NEVER BE WHEAT, the children of satan will NEVER be the children of God. God will ONLY redeem that which came from HIM!! Those he chose before the foundations of the world. Those that are lost and now find themselves behaving like chickens, going to chicken prophetic churches, following chicken spiritual fathers, chicken apostles, chicken bishops!!! Flee God s eagle. Flee for cover!!! Stop wasting your time in a chicken land. You have heard the cry and the call of the great Jehovah, leave those religious traditions and rituals, it is time to take flight!!! Start beating up those wings. Yes I know that there are many chicken pastors that have been speaking about me in their pulpits. Warning their chickens that, beware of that eagle boy!! He will eat you up, stop reading his material. I m sorry papa chicken, you cant stop God s eagles, this is what Jesus said.. JOHN 6: All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. All that were ordained for life..will come Back to God, this is a sure promise. You can threaten them, you can tell them you will place curses upon them, you can tell them they will die, but the truth is, once they eagles hear the call, they WILL RESPOND!!! So do you now see, why I am NOT disturbed at the threats that I will die like a chicken, because how can an eagle die like a chicken? 15 am not a chicken, I am not made for the chicken farm, I cant be jumping around with worms in my mouth screaming I receive.., I am destined for the skies!!! if the Lord tarries, yes, one day I will die. But I will not die like a chicken. I will die like a soldier warrior Eagle!! Blessed be the name of the Lord forever!! I love HIM with everything inside of him. I thank him for choosing me before the foundations of the world. Not because I am better, not because I am clever, not because I can prophesy, not because I can cast out devils, not He chose me according His own purpose of Election!!! So this is the mystery of redemption. This is the mystery of predestination.
