John 1:12-13 Jacob Kent buries 255 pounds for two reps in preparation for the 2017 Eastern Florida Open When we receive Jesus Christ, a spiritual transformation occurs. What happens in our hearts at that moment is what makes us Christians.

3 Before we move forward, however, we first must realize that believing is not the same as receiving. Many people may claim to believe that Jesus lived, died, and rose again; that Jesus is who He said He was. But that does not make one a Christian. It is when we receive Him, when we yield to Him and surrender to His Lordship that we become a Christian. With that clarified, when we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior it is a new birth. It is done by God, not by human effort, cleverness, or manipulation. When our faith meets the Word of God, and the Son of God is invited as Lord into our life, this new life begins. In short, a new creation has begun which will grow into the image of Christ. This is not only an awesome mystery, but really awesome! Like you, I am stoked when I bury a heavy squat or pull big weight (heavy and big being relative terms in my case). When compared to being a child of the Living God and spending eternity with the Creator of the universe, however, the competitive platform doesn t hold a candle to His Throne! God Bless, Spero

4 2017 florida open(s) As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17 Gordy keeps an eye on everyone s technique at Strong Life Training Facility! As expected, the 2017 Eastern Florida Open reached its entry limit, and the contest will feature the Benedix brothers, Women s Champions Suzanne LaForge and Nancy Morrison, and rising teenage stars Jacob Kent and Trey Plyler. The contest letter is included in its entirety, and we look forward to seeing everyone next month! Following the contest letter, we will offer a brief update on the Western Florida Open scheduled for April 8 at Strong Life Tampa Bay. The meet will be hosted by Bill Beekley, Tim Burns, and Tony Conyers, and will serve as the last competition before the 2017 Seniors.

In addition, please note that lifting will start promptly at 10:00 am on Saturday morning! Entries must be RECEIVED no later than Saturday, March 18, and the contest itself will take place on Saturday, April 8 at Strong Life Tampa Bay. The ladies from Strong Life Tampa Bay will be competing at the Polk County Senior games as a tune-up for the Western FL Open, want to invite you to join them on the platform in April!

President Trump, Vice President Pence, Mrs. Pence, Judge Gorsuch and his wife, along with Maureen Scalia (wife of deceased Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia) and Father Paul Scalia PRAYED together at the White House. PLEASE PRAY for President Trump and our nation s leaders.
